"Kowai Onna" is  three short films of thirty minutes without connection packaged together  to make a film of more than ninety minutes.
Yurei is the deconstruction of woman to primitive state. The  red monster has only one will and this is the one of destruction and  there is no conversation or attempt to make it reconsider. Keita  Amemiya's Yurei is a parable of how inner malice turns into outward  ugliness, becoming increasingly horrendous as it proceeds to attack the  innocent Kanako. In short, profane women have a fairly frightening atmosphere without the standard cliché of horror films.
