In the area of anime and manga you will always find extravagant titles and, above all, powerful ones. But even real movies do not shy away from wanting to call attention to their specificity in this way. The Tokyo Night Sky is not a novel that was filmed, no manga or other pop entertainment work. Instead, it is a collection of poems by Tahi Saihate. Again and again, poetic lines are recited, even the dialogues often do not seem out of this world. A continuous action, however, the film does not have. Instead, it consists of randomly arranged scenes that, in part, follow a dream logic. Of which one sometimes can not even say what they have to look for in the film.
