Koreans  are experts in dramas but when it comes to sports ... They make sports  films that no one has ever done before, such as "Take Off", which is  based in part on true events about South Korea's first jumpland. sound is the great differential, already at the beginning the theme  music of the film is heard, typically sugary music that will be used in  the most exciting scenes.
The true melodrama in the best South Korean style we have received  several times now is mixed with the sport, especially in the end.
The  nation's heroes have a hidden secret, they do not want to serve their  country, but as a movie, could have found a better story because some of  the guys are not exactly sympathetic. The depth of character is soft, it is nauseatingly evil. You should feel like a practitioner, want to get acquainted with them. In  "Take Off", there is more hatred than love ... Technically speaking,  cinematography is compelling, the ski jumps we see are well made but fun  and silly to the end. Pleasant and engaging cast, in short, "Take Off" is a true South Korean movie.
