I'm I the only one put off by the characters both being the mega rich type? Rich FL striving to become even richer ....
Are we the viewers somehow supposed to relate to these two mega priviliged leads?! How about show us real probelms, not rich people problems....
I like the alternative monarchy kdrama trope and past kdramas with this trope, but the plot description here isn't very exciting..
I doesn't help that no kdrama has been really good lately in 2025-2026, just very average writing in kdramaland these days, I miss being flat out obsessed with a kdrama....Even the OSTs these days very average too...
On the other hand love the cast here, and like I said I like the trope.
I was pleasantly surprised by how much screentime Seo Kang Joon had, he was basically a 2ML here, while the other virtual bfs where just short cameos lol

To me this was a million times better than that Goblin with weird pedophilia vibes! And the Pararell Universe & Timetravel is more fun imo than the goblin fantasy reincarnation that has been done too many times anyway...

Nothing special really. Super basic romcom with just average mid writing. 7.5-8.0.
Watch if you like High Tech intertvined with romance. It's just cool wtaching the dating inside the virtual world, but that is all. Far from a must watch, not bad but also not good. I'm slowly wtaching just 1-2 eps at a time, nothing is hooking me, nothing is also making me drop.
The chemistry between the leads is so cute! I wish real life had a ‘customised boyfriend’ option 😂
Look up "Otome Games", it exists for many years already, just not in virtual reality...YET. But likely VR dating happens soon too, the tech is already here (well except here it was more advanced in that it knocks one out to move around fully more freely vs hoe VR actualky is right now), someone just makes a dating game into VR format and voilá.....
edit: I just remembered that on My Little Old Boy variety show, there was a game like this in some of the recent eps. A guy was playing with virtual girlfriend lol. Honestly it looked embarrassing and cringe lol.

And let's be honest here: He's shown himself to be extremely REPLACEABLE:
If you look at a combo of His CUTE INNOCENT guy image (all fake for him) + roles KSH' usually does and WHICH GUYS DID THOSE type of roles THIS PAST YEAR +upcoming ones,
the KSH replacements are ALL MUCH BETTER ACTORS!:
Byeon Woo Seok (basically #1 replacement, I think he's righfully scoring all the good roles with his popularity) Park Bo Gum Kim Seon Ho Hwang In Yeop Na In Woo Yang Se Jong Ahn Yeo Seop Choo Young Woo
I'll take Byeon Woo Seok and Park Bo Gum any day over this guy. 🤷🏻♀️

It's definitely good they made it only 10 ep.
The one thing going for it beside highTech is how it skipped love triangle (unlike most recent kdrama romcoms which got ruined by love triangles)
If someone makes this irl in the future, it will become really popular...
