There was nothing appealing about DK 2ML lol, I (& i recall many others too) hated that DK 2ML.
Maybe you personally find that actor appealing and so are biased to like him....

Shim Eun Kyung. Acting powerhouse, has the range. And would be cute with L. Plus is underrated, could do with a popularity boost.

The triangle in ep6 made their character growth stall, FL looked indecisive and weak and 2ML was being Overbearing, controlling even creepy with trying to become a stepdad (of a baby he wanted ABORTED BEFORE, because it was tying her to another guy) when the baby's father is right THERE....even the very RUDE things 2ML said to ML about "You're not yet the father!" and showing up to the Pre-natal screening was truly disrespectful.... ep5-6 2ML also had way too much screentime, when that screentime should've gone to the actual LEADS...2ML showed 0 respect to leads nor did he care about FL, he just treated her as a possession...Then that useless childish competition spent waaaaaay to much time on, rather than progressing leads or showing them preparing more for parenthood.....(also webtoon had Marriage between them by midway..while leads here....Stuck in triangle? Not even dating then..)
Ep8 ending with Scandal cliffhanger.... Should've been the ep6 cliffhanger, after leads getting together in ep6....

He's so underrated. To be honest, he didn't look all that good when just quickly saw pics of him, but then saw him actually moving and act and I realized the man is gorgeous 😍 and can act. His charismatic Manners cannot be spotted in photos.

Also the drama reminds me of Park Gyu Young's "Celebrity", which was a good drama, centered also on a mysterious woman.

Short explanation:

Everything should've happened 2-3 eps earlier!

This is only a 12 ep drama after all!

Writer wrote it in the Speed of it being a 16 ep drama lol

I actually wouldn't have even minded triangle if it had all been gone by ep 4-5!

it was VERY UNNECESSARILY PLOT STALLING in middle, when the drama is only 12 ep!
Ep6 especially was a TOTAL DISASTER!

luckily ep7-8 saved it. Now I'm actually looking forward to ep9.

Otherwise i agree that they built up the OTP well, just episodes pacing was all wrong...

Dynamite Kiss had very unrealistic buildup for the OTP. He wen't from anti romance to totally into her right away just because of a kiss lol. (contrast with PY where it built gradually) Female lead's feeling for male lead also seemed very unclear.
And the moment the office part of the drama started it slowly started to become boring.

In PY, the leads actually talk and bond over their trauma and troubles, they don't just automatically like each other in unrealistic manner...
That said, ep 5-6 was Definitivly a mess in PY. I only got my hopes up again for at least an ok story since ep7 end & ep8 aired.
