Why does ji sub always have the same serious monotonous expression ?
Monotonous? The same expression? You can't be serious. He's one of the best if not the best k actors there is and has the most expressive, purest & full of emotion eyes! tsk tsk haters
Cant get past ep 5. 1st 2 eps were great but then somehow just got very boring. This writer doesnt have a clue how to make a plot engaging. Even though main pair is cute, I put this on hold and restarted several times already. Too bad.
Lol this plot sounds very similar to the american show Drop Dead Diva (which they're also remaking now as drama Goddess of the Court), but I don't mind. Remakes have the potential to be awful so I'm glad to have this one too, a drama similar to one of my favorite american shows. :) With original plot, and not a remake like GoddesOfTheCourt, there's less of a risk of screwing it up too. Looking forward to it. PBY is cute, please now cast a great lead actor for her :)
I think he had problems before the drama even started. He wasn't looking well at press conferences; you can see…
I should also add/explain that KJH was also spotted filming some even AFTER it was announced he'd quit. So even if he'd shot only until episode 12 by the time he was supposed to stop filming; he was likely called in to finish it better quickly/he wanted to wrap up his story better rather than leave it unfinished at episode 12....that last filming really left the door open for him to have filmed ending scenes for episode 32 ;)

Ahahaa It's not obvious at all! XD I don't know if people in this site are just playing ignorant and illogical or you guys actually are failing to read between the lines: the statement released when they announced that Kim Jung Hyun couln't continue filming and has to stop because of health issues is "to avoid spoilers we won't be revealing WHEN his character departs". Now if the writer/director wanted to be obvious and dumb they'd simply kill his character off sooner than planned...or they could do the smart thing and prioritize KJH's last scenes to shoot before he has to rest and prioritize shooting his ending scenes (of episode 32!) and have his character away for a trip or something (or a fakeout - trick viewers into thinking he's already dead thus explaining his absense off screen before final episode/s) until then, rather than shoot any scenes in the middle of drama and thus give a crappy/rushed/barely any ending to his character. That statement about not wanting to spoil WHEN his character departs implies they've likely done the smart thing and not the obvious thing (why otherwise so scared to spoil WHEN he departs if it isn't what people expect?) ;)
i dont like the ml.... :/... so not gonna watch the drama
Actually I didn't like the male lead at 1st/before I watched the drama either...but even so his character is written so extremely well & acted well he's now become my main reason to watch. Imagine that. ...turns out it's much better to give dramas a shot despite the lead/s, you never know what you could miss out on by dismissing a drama because of lead/s ;)
The lead actress gets a lot of hate and I never understood why. Her actions in the drama fit the character's personality…
Yes and yes! OYS did really, well I don't understand the hate at all. I think this girl attracts jealousy like a magnet, It's the only explnation that makes sense why people throw such complete b.s. comments around about her.
And this is based on the chinese Jouney to the West written way before Goblin lol. Anyway not alike. This is good while Goblin is only 6/10 material in my opinion, not even rip off worthy lol.
The quality of this show varies by the Masters chosen. Some are more interesting than the others and have more to teach/inspire I think. So many parts skipping material in my opinion but when this show is good its really good.
April 2019 is a bit too long to wait. How lucky that we have MITH otherwise we'd have to wait forever to see LSG on screen again. Anyway this seems interesting, only plot is a bit too similar to Mad Dog almost feels like they're copying it, so hopefully this will be made totally differently and won't end up resembling another drama. This writer is also not known for strong female leads ( :/ ) , ugh not expecting much from the female part then. Hopefully strong written plot otherwise. #ImpatientlyWaiting
I never thought that he would get another acting role after his scandal. I really don't know how to feel about…
Oh yes I know all about those projects.
And really now.....Rape is a serious thing you're not supposed to just "get over it". Would you tell that to your friend if a guy raped her? Is that a joke?? Yeesh I'd hate to be your friend. Such a fangirl over a guy you stop giving a damn about immorality of rape.
Guy doens't deserve anymore roles END OF STORY. Some things are unforgivable. You defending a rapist is beyond disgusting (even if just a potential one), this is why men get away with shit, just because of stupid women with no self-respect or any shred of respect for their own gender. Those other projects MyGoldenLife and LocalHero where easy skippable material, but now he's leeched unto a drama with great plot and SongJiHyo cast. What a waste of good drama and JiHyo. Sigh, I proabably would've liked this of it wasn't for this 1 person.
Netflix snagged "Memories of the Alhambra".https://ccultureca.com/2018/05/16/granada-sera-la-protagonista-de-una-nueva-produccion-de-netflix/
:O Oh both HELL YES and HELL NO! This means 2 things:
1) Wider audience = more fans to spazz with & bigger recognition for actors & Kdramas getting more known and popular in western countries too
2) Eng subs will take MUCH much longer than usual, creating the most painful waiting agony; aka. Hwayugi (also sold to Netflix) style waiting for 2 whole days for eng subs after episodes have aired ;( ;( ;( Still traumatized about that one.

Lee Dong Wook & Yoo In Na offered lead roles!
Goblin drama 2nd leads this time as 1st leads!! YES PLEAASE!
Looks like TvN wants to take advantage of this well recieved pairing. Smart move.
"Both are positively considering" now waiting for confimation from them both. :D
Looking forward to it. PBY is cute, please now cast a great lead actor for her :)

He only stopped filming JUST NOW. Hopefully this means he had time to film a great ending for his character.
