There's nothing saying they can't do BOTH.
Even Waikiki has romance, maybe you forgot lol. Waikiki showed it can be done. I hope they find a good balance between both.

Pheeeew I'm glad there is that SLIGHT ROMANCE TAG. It would be a waste of these leads otherwise, I think they'd be cute together.

No need to be full on romance, i think this plot alone is interesting, BUT please indeed keep at least SOME romance between the leads. Sort of like how Happiness or Vincenzo kdramas handled it well with the slight romance, even while focus of plot was still mainly elsewhere.

This ML totally not on her level when it comes to charisma! He gives lowkey boring vibes while she gives very likable vibes.

She was much better matched with Seo Kang Joon, Kim Young Kwan, Kim Dong Wook and Jang Ki Young who are much more in her level of charisma.
.... Actually she has had VERY GOOD MLs constistently, this is the 1st time I'm disappointed 😞...
Even her other upcoming kdrama Modern Sharehouse she has a good (even when rookie!) ML who actually has charisma to match her.


Nevertheless I'll give this drama a try for Jin Ki Joo and plot, just with less excitement beforehand...

The increase of the success of this drama is entirely dependent on ML now, if he becomes more ... lively and animated, the drama will take off. Bc ML actor is so good in friendly scenes, he is charming, funny, cuddly, endearing. Poker snotty faces do NOT work for this actor.

I haven't started this drama yet, but at start of this year/end of last year I watched the drama Emergency Couple (with Choi Jin Hyuk and Song Ji Hyo as leads) where he payed a VERY WARM , very charming type of side charcter with his own Loveline....

Then in the trailer for this drama he seemed too cold and arrogant, which doesn't really suit the actor.


....So I'm not surprised that the comment section has now changed from complaining about the actor to now praising him lol.
I thought this would happen, IF the drama actually allows some WARMTH from him.
I came here from time to time to check fresh reactiosn to the drama and him, waiting for people to get a shock that he's actually good lol
Sounds like they indeed do that, allow the warmthI hope they keep it up, because the earlier criticism towards the ACTOR HIMSELF weren't warraned when he simply got cast in a cold role, when he excels as warmth...

For real, i still can't get over epsecially Shin Hae Sun's latest 2 kdrama titles are ESPECIALLY BAD, I mean "Filing For Love" and even worst "Love O'Clock"?!

... Mega Cringe titles, to the point in FUTURE WILL BE EMBARRASSING to answer questions like "What kdramas did you like lately?" or Name a favorite kdrama" with
Love O' Clock🤮🤮😅😅😅 etc.

My Spooky Romance is,
at least it's a million times better than just copypasting the movie's alternative title Chilling Romance 😅.
(Especially since drama plot is 90% different from the movie plot)

....Here's hoping they'll come up with a better title soon though
