it's all about that quiet yearning
it's all about the 𝒚𝒆𝒂𝒓𝒏𝒊𝒏𝒈 and ignoring phone calls (very relatable).the ambience, the themes, the acting, are all superb. despite its heavy themes (loneliness, suicide, suicidal ideation, miscarriage, depression, grief) this drama is ultimately about healing, second-chances (at happiness/contentment/life), and people who are lost.
the understated yet nevertheless intense connection between the two leads eventually develops into a top-tier slow-burn romance that has no equals really. the longing, the loneliness, the sadness, the existentialism...gorgeous, moving, introspective, contemplative, poignant, melancholic, lost is all of these and more. possibly the most underrated kdrama of all time (i have decided so).
