Youku stopped it at EP 8 in 2023 after it got banned and WOWOW bought it this year
I honestly never heard of anything confirmed about that since Youku is a Chinese platform and the ban is still ongoing to them, as for the MDL update about Youku release it has been here since 2023 I don't think it'll be edited out because it's the original release platform but it doesn't mean it is going to be continued on Youku.
I truly left "Chains of Heart" with the impression that Boom was a beautiful face & body with no acting range…
I felt that he was an amazing actor even with how weirdly written Chains of Heart was cuz of how he carried through it well imo that's why I got excited for this one I knew he'd nail this role

good question.. that scene plays a significant part in the original story sooo idk if they'll twist this around but seems like it may be tuned down to fit the local audience cuz it is a wild one
nah as much as I am a fan of Japanese work and the original I don't think they would've given it justice in production or budget like this adaptation this one especially IS GIVING
