That's the kind of drama you just can't stop watching once you've started it.

It has a unique story concept about love triang-quadri-pent-whatever that just doesn't allow you to stop after the episode has ended. Even though the first episode was kind of normal, immediately after the beginning of the second one you are already in the drama. However, after episode 7 it loses its quality starts swinging which is a shame since it could have been a lot better. The thing that I hated most about this drama's story is the fact that sometimes the action starts and after it started, understands where it should go. In other words, it's like character X goes to location Y without any reason and once he's there he sees that the plot can go on and forces it to continue, which allows a lot of deus ex machina, especially in the ending. Also there are still some elements unexplained after the last episode which is why the story's rating is no more than 8.5/10

The cast was really good, even though I didn't like all the characters (especially Besshii, brr) and the acting was really well done. I must admit that the two main roles were just perfectly played by their actors, notably Tenchou's actor (Matsuoka Masahiro) who was just flawlessly giving all he got to make me always laugh.

The music is good, although not too remarkable but still good. And I really liked the ending song.

So I would suggest from my experience, my life and my soul that you watch this drama.

Here's a nice drama. Nothing outstanding but still a good one.

The story was kinda clichéd, but still well done. The second half of the drama is slightly better than the first one, it has some supernatural elements even though it's supposed to be realistic, but nothing too negative; other than that, there's not really much to say about it.

The acting was overall good. Some side characters were bad but some others were good. The three main actors were just perfectly in their role.
Although, the characters weren't really well-developed. Except the main characters, the others were really lacking a good development and the antagonist was just disappointing. Even though this is personal, Akira's character was unpleasant during a lot of episodes; in the end I still managed to accept it and even like his role.

The music can actually be the best part of it. The ending is very good and the main themes are actually awesome. But the over-usage of the main theme and the mediocre ones lower the score.

If you like simple school dramas and have no problem (or like) the bullying theme, then Nobuta wo Produce is a good choice.

This is one weird drama to review. I just kept wondering what was supposed to be so good about it and what wasn't. Let me tell you that I didn't find this drama neither perfect nor horrible, it just had a neutral feeling.

The story is basically structured the same way as a lot of other dramas: Every episode presents a new secondary character, showing his story and what happens to him until the episode ends and the character will be forgotten or will appear in a few scenes in the other episodes, meanwhile the main characters' situations progress extremely slowly in the background. This goes on until episode 8/9. There isn't much to say about them, not so good yet not so bad. The lasts episodes were supposed to have the big impact adding a real plot to the main characters but it was still a "not so good yet not so bad" situation, which disappointed me.
Although, I really enjoyed the cultural ambiance I felt in the show with either the friends eating outside in front of the food stand and the Rakugo (a Japanese form of comedic theater) and I really liked the way the drama shows its story and at the same time it shows a classical rakugo story as they both advance to the same point. That was really unique.

The actors did a great job, except a little bit Ito Misaki (Megumi's actress) who wasn't that good, even though the characters weren't well developed.
The music was ok, the ending song was really good.
I didn't dislike watching it but I wouldn't re-watch it since it was pretty slow.

After reading the synopsis of the movie, I was ready for an horrible movie, just a way to continue in a stupid way a popular series, but I'm glad I was wrong.

The story just closes the whole series in an awesome way, learning what the cast has become after the first movie, but you'll have to wait the second half of the movie to have some quality.
The new characters are either useless, like the american baseball team (it would have been a lot better without it) or really good, like the instructor, Sugimoto. The music doesn't change, they just added a new song.

So overall, even though the first half doesn't have the feeling of the series, the second half just makes up for that kind of emptiness, so don't worry about the synopsis and just give it a try.

This should actually be included in the series as episodes 10-11-etc.

The story was weird as hell. A lot of going back and forward until the very end, just as I like them. It explains the little things left unexplained in the series and was even funnier than the series itself, even though it uses some of the jokes of the series.

The cast was bigger and got a little better. The music is just as the series, with a new song that I actually enjoyed. Those two hours were just so full of content and funny that it didn't even feel like it was that long.

Definitely worth watching right after the series!

Wow, I think I really fell in love with this type of street group of friends' type of show. Kisarazu Cat's Eye just made me love it right after the first minutes.

The general story is very simple, a little stupid but somehow serious. Since the drama is principally a comedy, every episode is on its own, and every episode's story has a ingenious structure:
The episode goes on with its story, usually ignoring one of the main characters who is seen in the background, with one or two little moments that don't make a lot of sense; in the end the gang reaches magically the ending and then the episode loops back to show the role of the character previously ignored, linking him to the non-sense moments (clarifying them) and explaining the ending reached before. This structure is just wow.
The show nicely handles the comedic part and mixes it with some awesome drama. I almost cried on the last episode.
The ending was rushed and the series is only 9 episodes long which is a little bit disappointing.

The acting was really well done. It has a weird kind of humor, especially in the facial expressions, which was priceless. The characters were really good, especially Ozzy.
The music really surprised me. The soundtrack is actually really good, the ending is awesome but the songs in the music episode were meh.

This series can be easily recommended to anyone, it's accessible, it's hilarious, it's not something specific to a kind of taste, it's just: watch it and enjoy it.

I probably never laughed this hard for a movie, especially if the movie was supposed to be horror.
The movie basically has the same good and bad points of the anime, but it adds a lot of trash here and there.

The story has an awesome background. The idea is something I really like about horror movies: a mix of urban legends, death, ghosts and school. The problem is that it just can't handle it and ends up being a weird wtf until the end. A lot of things remain unexplained, a lot of the explained things are non-sense and A LOT of what happens is just stupid, and that's a shame. For example, imagine that you're a detective in a detective novel and you have a superpower that allows you to find the culprit without any problem; then, why wouldn't you just use it to find the culprit? Why should you wait until he kills more just to let the novel be longer? That's the kind of non-sense that can be found in the movie.

The characters, just like in the anime, are the most anonymous thing I have ever seen. The acting was kinda bad overall, even though there were some secondary actors who splendidly did their job but they didn't appear in more than two or three scenes so they don't really make up for the general lack. In the second half, Misaki Mei's actress (one of the main characters) improved a little.
Another really bad thing about the characters is the lack of any emotion despite the fact that the characters are just students who began to see death in their everyday life. Their reactions are just so unnatural.

Surprisingly, the music was really good. The creepy soundtrack was really creepy. The ending song was good. Weird because it's dubstep/pop music, a genre that you don't really associate with the horror genre, but whatever.

So overall, I would recommend this movie only if you want some trash horror for fun or if you're a fan of the manga/anime. I don't really think that it would be easy to rewatch since it's basically just "emotionless character explaining things to emotionless character 2", "someone dies in a funny way", "emotionless character explaining things to emotionless character 2", someone dies in a funny way", etc. until the last section.

Well, let's begin with the fact that I love horror, especially when it's about legends or games, like in this case. So I obviously loved the idea of the movie and in the beginning was really enjoyable with all those orders and choices that the characters had to endure. The first tier of the movie was really good and I really wanted to know how it would continue and how it would answer to all the questions I had in mind. After that it's a free fall. The whole development was getting more and more ridiculous and some things didn't even make sense (a character acting as if he was injured even though he wasn't, the WHOLE school was available at for the characters, at night, so that they could do whatever they wanted, the teacher appeared just a few times, as if she wasn't necessary in a classroom, etc.) and some questions weren't even answered. The ending was kinda good though.

The acting wasn't bad. It was horrible. You couldn't even think that they were actually acting seriously except for a few scenes. And the characters were all empty. The character development was almost inexistent.

The music was pretty good, I would say, except for that happy ending song that didn't even seem to belong to the kind of sad ending the movie had. I was just asking myself "Why?" while hearing it.

Overall, it's a movie that had an awesome idea and started off pretty well, despite the horrible acting, but when the things started to be "creepy" it just fucked up and couldn't go on.

Oh, and IT IS NOT A HORROR MOVIE. It just could feel like one from the summary but isn't one at all.

This is a weird kind of drama that's supposed to be watched as a comedy, because it's hilarious, and not as a serious one, because it has too many flaws.

The story of each episode gets kind of repetitive. The style is exactly the same one for each episode and you just have to get used to it. Every episode's story is simple, full of plot holes (which is really bad for a detective series) and predictable. Some episodes were mediocre and some others were somehow good. Nothing much to say, except that the last episode is really something.

The acting was good. Nagase's role was hilarious and the general cast was funny although the characters weren't really interesting.

The music was really good. The soundtrack and the insert song were really good and fitting. Didn't like the ending too much though.

If you're looking for something really light, where you don't need to think about anything, just sit there, watch and laugh, then I definitely recommend you this one.

I wouldn't say I was disappointed because I was prepared for it but when I find this ( http://www.ludomedia.it/upload/img/14/7/14/2093_4240_53c3d71932d7a3.35272149.jpg ) I... I just... well... I don't know.
It did have some good moments but it was like a roller-coaster going up and down.

The story was sometimes like the manga and sometimes was just non-sense full of plot holes

The characters were sometimes good and sometimes not, the same thing goes for the acting.

The music was really nothing special, but wasn't bad at all.

And HELL NO I wouldn't re-watch it. Once was more than enough.

I am really surprised finishing this drama. In the beginning I thought that it would just a funny comedy, with a little bit of trash and nothing more, but I was wrong.

The story is simple and yet deeper than it seems. It starts as a funny comedy ending one of the best endings I've ever seen. I laughed a lot, I also was about to cry, even though I've never cried for something like this (drama, anime, games or anything else).

I loved the characters of this show, every single character was a very good character, even the ones that I didn't like in the beginning. I especially loved Makio's character, the protagonist. But the acting wasn't always excellent, there were a lot of scenes where it was lacking but there were even more scenes that were really well acted: the comedic scenes, the serious scenes and Makio's rapefaces (Ah, never forget them).

The music was good. I didn't like so much the opening song but I loved the ending, for the song and for the role of "ending" the episode.

This is my first review. Because of the person I am, I will simply talk about the rated aspects of the drama:
Story, Characters/Cast, Music and overall.

The story was just awesome. From the very beginning until the end it was very entertaining and didn't even try to let me bored. Every episode was really enjoyable, the funny ones in the beginning and the more serious ones in the end managed to make me give a 9.5/10 to the story.

I personally liked every character. They were very realistic and well-developed. The evolution was also good and the actors were just perfect for every character.

Not too much to say about the music, loved the opening and the soundtrack was also enjoyable.

If you like street-style comedy/drama with some mystery and the idea of the main character giving all he got to help out his friends, without giving (who reminds of the Onizuka character from GTO) then you should definitely try this one.
