Getting second chance in 30s

My second Aoharu already tells the brief of the story by its title. Sayako is a 30s woman who once gave up on her dream. Until one day, she met Taku, 10 years younger male than her, who advised her to give another shoot for her dream.

This dorama is really refreshing. Once again, the concept of sharing house is still a good idea. Throughout the episode, we are served with the brief and harsh reality of workers nowadays, college life, and the beauty of friendship and love. Despite of the number of characters, they were portrayed beautifully along with their backstories.

Taku and Sayako's love story is also well-done depicted. One of the refreshing age gap doramas, since it is a love story between young and adult collegers. The thing I love about their relationship is they are growing and supporting each other. They also advised each other. And the best thing, they resolve the misunderstanding by having good communication. I love sometime Taku would be mad when he was still considered as a kid. Even he is still young, he knows himself the best. Both Alice (I really love with her facial expression) and Micchi really did well with their characters.

Another typical ending with the promise of marriage. Also, the OST from Naniwa Danshi is cute and makes you want to sing along.

Give a shot if you don't mind with age gap romance with the spark of youth story.

Wasted casts

Pending Train starts off with a good premise but was totally disappointing.

Not gonna lie, Yuki and Eiji already attracted the audiences when this dorama was announced (at least for me). The 3 main leads go pretty well. The heroic one, the naive one, and the realistic one. Their dynamics complete each other. The triangle love is pretty unnecessary. Yuki and Eiji bromance and just giving one of them a love line will be enough. I also got fed up with Yuto past scene. His past complex and his one-sided love were just too much (I mean I get it you love that girl but the scene is too repetitive). Could be better that some scenes went to Sae. This gurl is lack her back story. Her presence at first is just as the love interest of Yuto.

Other cast perfectly portrayed their own character. Some went wild, some went rational. However, perhaps due to limited episodes, there were so many unanswered questions. The missing person (who is still alive in this case) was completely forgotten except for Tanaka. And the open ending does not always mean good. In the end, you might find yourself cursing after watching the ending.

Perfect cast, as well as its ost. BUT a bad-executed storyline.

Believing in human's ability

I won't lie I decided to watch because of Ryo and Hokuto. However, the premise of the story is quite interesting. Instead of investing in the offered products, the main lead invests in the human. That is how he is known as a human investor.

Creating a start-up company is not as easy as flipping the coin. However, this dorama somehow made it easy since the main lead is a golden-spoon person. Initially, that gave me a non-realistic story. But, it turned out more complicated as the story went on. Even after the company was built, the CEO of each company found their own struggle. The thing I love is this dorama in each episode elaborated on the struggle of the adults. Stay-at-home mother, elder, and ex-rascal boy are some of the stories you would find in this dorama. This dorama also highlighted various relationships, such as mother-daughter relationships, partner-in-work relationships, marriage relationships, and sibling relationships. I freaking love the scene where each character got frustrated and people walk in opposite direction and clap as if it is nothing. The illustration is freaking good.

I was afraid that Taiyo could end up as a toxic-positivity spreader due to his enthusiastic and positive vibe. However, he was not. This dorama still showed his weak side as a human. It was realistic. In addition, his comedic attitude gives good laugh. I really love Ryo acting like this.

The rest story is pretty predictable when it was the uncle vs the sibling to lead a company.

This dorama would be pretty enjoyable if you are seeking for business-related dorama. It could be boring since a lot of terms seem not familiar. Give it a shot if you are looking for a business-related watch!

Lovers in denial

Yugure's premise is the classic premise of a love story. A failed marriage, repeated encounters, and both leads getting trapped to live in the same house are things you can find in most romance dramas.

This dorama tells about the dream and having someone special to support your dream. How both leads support and being affectionate but still being in denial is the main core of this dorama. This dorama is not the slow-burn one but maybe you will get squealed for their unending misunderstanding. The ending is still acceptable. However, I wish Yugure would explore on Soramame and her mother's relationship more and a glimpse of her life in Paris. Also, I personally think it would be better if we got both POVs of the leads. Not only from Oto but also from Soramame. In addition, this dorama also has LGBT character who is supported by her surroundings. Also, the cinematography is an eye-pleasing scenery for me.

Ren and Suzu are really cute as a couple and their chemistry is believable to me. The OST is so beautiful and it spreads good positivity. Cute ending dance in every episode that you may don't want to miss.

Give it a shot if you are looking for a light romance dorama!

Splendid as always

This movie aired at my local cinema and probably is still airing in several districts of my country. I am gonna give the review with as less as spoilers as I could.

Continuing the franchise of H&L, H&L The worst cross of course focussed on Oya boys since the worst series was meant to focus on Oya. As usual, the main theme of H&L is of course friendship-centered. And once again, as usual, the introduction for the new gang is perfectly cool and makes me swoon. I am not a NCTzen but I really love Yuta's acting. His eyes speak a lot. Along with other LDH boys, this movie is of course worth watching if you follow the previous series of this franchise. The thing that surprised me is Daichi Mikami as Lao is a professional fighter. Initially, I thought he was a new member of LDH.

For the OST, you have to admit that H&L franchise always provides superb OST that goes along with each gang and the situation. "Wings" is the made-by-heaven combination of 4 vocalists from 3 groups.

This movie won't let your expectation down at all. Worth watching as always!

The perfect portrayal of life as idols

Starting off with eye candy casts, this drama got me to expect a lot of things.

Kimi no hana tells the journey of a boy group. While some boy group-themed drama focuses on romance (which I had to drop them), This dorama proves otherwise. The journey of their growth, which is symbolized as the growing flowers, is perfectly done. Starting from a rookie group, getting underappreciated, their struggle to make their name, the members' personal issues which were elaborated on in each episode, and of course the experience of loving someone as an artist. Everything is just in the perfect portion. Each cast did their very best to live up to their characters. This dorama perfectly portrays how idol entertainment works. The age gap storyline is also just enough and I think the chemistry between Fumiya and Tsubasa was there and heart-warming.

To make it more acceptable, they even have 3 LGBTQ characters, and even its surrounding are supportive of them. Its OSTs are also perfectly made. In the end, you will be a 8LOOMY. Definitely give it a shot if you are a fangirl or looking for a light yet fun drama.

Heart-warming and touching dorama

Honestly, I came across to watch this drama because of the clip of eps 1 that went viral on Twitter. This drama is absolutely worth the hype.

Silent explores what some of us take as granted. It is the ability of hearing. This dorama not only reveals the point of view of hearing people towards the deaf people but also vice versa.

Sou's hearing impairment becomes the center of this story. How he feels so little toward everyone else, how he tries to adjust his life after losing his hearing ability, and how he shuts down from society to protect himself. For me, that is a normal reaction. To suddenly not be able to hear is painful enough. I have to give a standing ovation to Mame since he is able to convey all of the emotion with facial expressions and sign language.

The triangle love story between Sou-Tsumugi-Minato is beautifully made. At first, I thought Minato, for Tsumugi, was just the substitute for Sou after he had gone. But It was wrong. Minato holds another place in Tsumugi heart while Sou holds a special place in her heart. Yes, she falls in love with them over different periods of time. Their story gives the same feeling when someone loses her or his lover and she or he starts to love and be loved again. You can't help but keep yearning for the deceased one while start loving another one. In addition, for me, Minato character is truly the hero here. He just loves to see Tsumugi and Sou together even though he does love Tsumugi.

Tsumugi also gives her best effort to communicate with Sou by immediately learning sign language. Along with time, she understands that it is not the only voice that can convey someone's thinking but also words. I love how she tries as much as she can to understand Sou.

The other characters complement the story as well. Sou's family and friends' acceptance of Sou's condition, Nana's thoughts as a born-deaf person, and Masaki's thoughts as a hearing person really blend well.

Another thing I like about this dorama is how every sound is showcased more to my ears. I could hear clearly those sounds compared to another dorama. Subtitle as the OST also makes this dorama complete. How I wish this dorama could end with Sou calling Tsumugi name and holding her hand. Nevertheless, the ending is still beautifully created.

Regardless of its xenophobic and gate-keeping screenwriter, I hope this dorama could be streamed legally on the official streaming platform (aside of Viki ofc) so it could reach more audiences. I sincerely hope the screenwriter would apologize since her reckless statement has hurt a lot of people.

Lastly, Silent is a really worth-watching dorama which could leave you in tears in each episode.

The duration makes this drama questionable

First of all, I am not gonna lie I watched this drama because of Taekwoon. But here, I wrote the review as a casual viewer, and is going to be as objective as I could be.

This drama really starts with confusing synopsis that gives hints about Jung woo's lover. At first, I thought he would be with Tae Young but the synopsis and the trailer tried to convince me that Jung Hyun is the end game. As a viewer, this confuses me as hell but I guess a good way to ignite the viewers' curiosity.

The thing I always hate about Korean BL dramas is the duration. This drama proved it. From the first until 3 episodes, I had a lot of questions and was literally lost in the storyline. How came Jung woo revealed his senior's scandal? How came Jung Woo and Jung Hyun ended up together even at the point they lived together? I had to figure out by myself the storyline. This is why I hate the Korean BL dramas' duration.

Regardless of its duration, this drama still delivered a good story as the episode progressed. Jung Hyun is literally a walking and living red flag. He is a gas-lighter and manipulative when it comes to Jung Woo. But I realize It was solely his obsession with Jung Woo that turned him to be like that. On the other side, Tae Young was totally sunshine. I freaking love whenever he smiles. His positive attitude evoked Jung Woo's spirit to write again. His character also made Jung Woo realize that hiding forever is not the best answer for him.

And I have to say that all the cast really acted well. None of them acted awkwardly. Standing applause for that.

The ending is still too ambiguous for me. Even though Jung Woo decides to be Tae Young, the damn gaze he exchanges with Jung Hyun on the rooftop is giving a big question for me. They standing on the rooftop with Jung Woo in the middle makes me wonder whether the love rival still continues or not.

Either way, you may give it a shoot if you want to watch a Korean BL drama that explores literature and people on the back with a sprinkle of boys' loves ofc.

Unlikely age-gap dorama with dynamic growth of lead male

Honestly, it has been a while after HajiKoi and TBS finally brought back age gap-themed dorama. The storyline made me laugh out loud, it just didn't make sense at all when Hayame's life messed up in the span of a day. It was also ridiculous yet a little bit made sense how Issei really wanted to bully Hayame since she annoyed him once. But it was totally ridiculous how a homeless woman accepted herself to live in her bully house instead of getting help from someone else she knew.

The second lead male is super likable. Gun-chan really portrayed 29 years-old Seigo who is matured and calm. You couldn't help but root for Seigo too. An unfinished love story that goes with a new rival of 17-year-old Issei who was completely brat at first makes this dorama interesting. Unlike classic cinderella, Hayame decided not to be a bullied target, and she stood for herself and righted the wrong. I love her characteristic.

Issei also completely turned into in-the-middle-of-boy-and-man. He went softer and he fully realized he was in love with Hayame when she really run for him the moment he run from home. His acts somehow were too mean but straightforward. What I love he spoke out loud of his mind instead of restraining himself as Seigo did. I thought it was because he was so young but he proved me wrong. His consent love was so admirable for a 17-years-old-boy who has just fallen in love.

Just like Hajikoi, this one ended with the promise of marriage. Probably a special episode or even Season 2 could be better. and LISA's voice completed everything.

The essence of living

To be honest, I decided to watch this dorama cause of who-else-if-it-is-not-Ryusei, but the story is absolutely well written as it was reflected in daily life. Kikazaru talks about the dream, the job you are having or you wish for, ideal living, even the lifetime partner. It is totally a whole-packaged dorama with a lot of superb casts. Yes, days could be gray or rainbow, but what matters is how we cherish the people surrounded us and how we love doing what we love. Also, the OST is as expected really great ^^. Then, I am going to elaborate more about the 6 characters in this dorama.

1. Kurumi. She is a girl who knows what she wants to do and gives her very best in everything she could do. Her work makes her stay always as 'it' girl as she turns into an influencer. At first, she wore everything that could boost her confidence even though it is tiring enough for her. But, thanks to Fujino, she learns to accept that you couldn't always stay '10' and it is okay to be yourself. And also thanks to Sachi (i love his nickname), she learns to keep moving forward no matter what happens and sets the goal that your tomorrow is today. A girl who lives up to her dream.

2. Shun. At first, I thought he is just a minimalist person who just wants to live the way he is without dreaming of something big. But after learning about his traumatic experience, I get to know why he just lives as simple as he could. The world has knocked down him once and he decided to totally back off. As time goes by and with the help of Kurumi, he realizes he can't run away or stay closed himself. With a lot of fear, he decided to once again move forward.

3. Kuoko. The kind-hearted woman who is able to gather good people under one rooftop. She thought once if she married, she would living the happiest life of her life. Unfortunately, after learning that she trapped in the household with her husband who used to be consumed by his job, she changes her perspective. I love how she always cherishes the 50 years she spent every time she talks. At the end of the day, she feels lonely but getting remarried is not her answer. Mad respect for her ex-husband for always trying to be there for her.

4. Ryuhei. Another kind-hearted man who tries to listen to everyone's problems as his job dealing with counseling. Ryu-chan doesn't place himself as a counselor but as a human first. I love how he mostly helps his housemate with his mature advice. Kuddos to this character ^^

5. Ayaka. The exact representation of people who keep chasing their dreams. She knows that chasing her dream could be a long journey or even a lifetime journey and at some point, she feels exhausted. I totally can relate when she asked that if we keep chasing our dreams, will we get true happiness? The world has knocked down her over and over. When she decided to give up, she realizes what important is she does what she loves to do.

6. Our Sachi ^^. A free-spirited man who sets his goal in his every step. The thing I love about him is his mindset. He takes every challenge as his stepping stone instead of an obstacle. And about his Loveline with Kurumi? She loves him too early, he loves her too late.

Ah forgot to mention. Both the main couple and the side couple have polar personalities which make this dorama so good. Definitely worth watching dorama ^^

PS: Please watch this dorama on fansubber (Furritsu-san). She and her teams work so hard for providing this wonderful dorama for free. By watching through her work, you will really appreciate her and her teams. The streaming sites only steal her work so please don't watch it on there.

The comedical aspects of BL's stuffs

Here i have to say i haven't read the manga so the review is completely based on what i watch in this dorama.

This one is super hilarious. The way the main character who labels himself as an extra with the mission of avoiding to fall in love with boys is extremely unique and fresh. His clumsy and hilarious attempts to avoid being matched with other boys never failed to make me laughing out loud. It is also refreshing to see his point of view's of BL stuffs. If you are really into to BL, you will find really relateable to all the things happened in this drama.

The acting is no doubt since almost all the cast came from Tokusatsu's alumni. The opening is catchy and freaking funny at the same time. I hope S2 would happen. Definitely worth watch for you who seek comedical dorama with the sprinkles of BL's thingy.

Through their eyes....

This movie is currently airing on local cinema in my country so that is why i already watched this movie. Gonna give the review with less spoiler as much as i can.

Personally, i haven't watched the original aka Always so i wouldn't know the storyline at all when i watch your eyes tell. The storyline is really beautiful and i believe Always would be top notch movie even i haven't watched it. Ryusei and Yuriko really did their best to deliver heart-warming and sometime aching love story. Love with the acceptance of one another's flaws. Did i cry? Yes i did to the point i had to change my face mask since i wet it.

Through eyes both metaphorically (in case of Kaori, she could tell whatever Rui's do even though she suffers eyes impairment) and literally (in case of Rui whom could find warmth of love and affection in Kaori), you could see the meaning of what the love is.

OST ofc you know sung by BTS and it completes the movie. Worth watch for you who loves romance stories.

Rush rush and rush

After the successful-BL's webdrama-you-guys-might-know-aka WYEL, South Korea produces more BL webdramas with the hope of same enthusiasm people give to WYEL. Color rush really has interesting storyline. If you are familiar for reading AU (Alternate Universe) fanfiction, Color Rush is definitely that type fanfiction you might like. The concept of mono who suffers color blindness and probe whom allows mono to see colors is so fresh and fascinating. Moreover, i wouldn't gonna lie i watched Color Rush after seeing its promotional poster (yes Hyun Jun's sharp eyes and visual caught me and i didn't know he is formerly known as Tbz's hwall).

But i found some points they really miss to tell and it annoys me for real. The scenes' transition are so odd (like how suddenly the raining scene comes, i am like huh?!?), the effect they use to describe how Yeon Woo could see colors cause of Yoo Han is somehow too much and distrubs me. Hyun Jun's skill acting is still so so compared to Yoo Jun even though both of them are rookies. The storyline is forced too which is probably due to low budget. i am confused about where yeon woo's mom is, eally curious how yeon woo's aunt searches for her sister, yoo han's rich-ass family background and on top of that the face blindness that Yoo Han suffers of is only explained in last episode. It would be better if we got to see Yoo Han's point of view along the episodes.

The OSTes are good ofc..tbh, i decided to finish Color Rush cause its unique storyline. You may continue watching this one or not...

Love Me? Love Me not...

Honestly, as this movie is based on Sakisaka Io's work, i really anticipate this one (and also Eiji san as main cast too) Firstly, i thought this one would be giving same vibe like Ao Haru Ride ans Strobe Edge but it didn't turned out like them. Yes the story is typical of romance japan's coming-of-age story, however the pace is really slow. I won't say that is bad thing but if you hate slowburn story, then this movie won't be your cup of tea.

The change of Rio and Akari's feeling are little bit off since it feels rushed cause of duration. The actors and actress did really well to convey their feelings and i really love how their expression say it all in some of scene. The cinematography is also done beautifully. It would be better if this movie is adapted as dorama instead.

Youth movie that talks about love and dream. A clinche one with slow burn vibe..

The light story doesn't always good in drama

Well to be frank, i am not into korean dramas and i only binge watch for some Japan dramas..i watched this because i am hyuk fans so of course i want to know how the drama went. The plot is simple, reminds me of Gangnam Beauty. Both have similar problem which is being beauty doesn't mean your life works perfectly. Duri is perfect. But everyone betrayed her. I found it was cute when Woo Bin literally fallen in love with Duri since the first sight..and also it is hillarious when he works as underwear CEO..

it is light but the story is slight a mess so 7 point is okay for me..I enjoy another character besides Duri and Woo Bin..Give a shoot if you don't want to think much and night super light and fluffy drama..
