End the drama slump

I'm so glad I waited to start season 1 because if I hadn't known there was a second season I would have been so angry. Season 1 ended on an epic cliffhanger and season 2 picked up on a whole different drama. I loved that there is a clear distinction between the seasons. Season 2 did a great job of changing the mood. The actors were amazing. I really enjoyed all the interactions between the different characters. Every character stole my heart. I wish we could have gotten more of this season and not just 10 episodes. Overall though great drama. Definitely this is one to end drama slumps.

Goblin Adjacent

So it has been a while since I watched a drama that was so well written and so well executed. The acting was amazing. Every single actor and actress did a fantastic job. I became a fan of all of them which is usually rare for me. The story was new and interesting. Dramas tend to be somewhat predictable but this one was not. Everytime I thought it was going to go one way it did something differently. I named it goblin adjacent because it probably ruined me for any other dramas right now. I just finished season 2 but I almost feel like I should rewatch it already because it was that good.

It probably deserved a higher rating than an 8.5. The story was really good, the acting was not bad. I really enjoyed that we only spend one episode on the background information. The writers didn't drag the history of the characters into 4 or 5 episodes thankfully. This drama was different in the sense that the pace wasn't rushed. The pace was slow but not so slow that it became boring. It was never repetitive or dull. As I'm writing this review I'm questioning why I didn't rate it higher but sometimes it's just a feeling. I do have to say this was one of the better endings I have seen for a historical drama. The ending definitely deserves a 10. It left me feeling satisfied. I would recommend this to anyone who wants to see a really well written drama that takes its' time to create an excellent story.

Loved this drama!!! From episode 1 you are left wanting more. It starts off in a typical drama way but then the back story begins to unfold and you really get hooked. DO did a great job playing that psycho. His acting sent shivers. He nailed it. Some of the twists I did expect but the way they were revealed was great. Even though I thought I knew I still learned more about the characters as each episode went on. There was never an episode where I felt bored or like it was a filler. I dreaded getting to the last episode because I didn't want it to end. I loved that one of the underlying messages was that love beats hate. It was subtle and well done. I only wish we got more bromance. Also this was my first time seeing Park Bo Gum and he is absolutely fantastic. I can't wait to see him in other things.

Love, love,love!!!! It was so sweet from beginning to end. It was a very realistic kdrama dealing with real situations. I loved that the lead female wasn't a pushover or depressed just because she was fat. I loved that they made her so strong because in real life that's how women are. She had so many aspects to her personality. Also the relationship between the two females was well done. I usually don't like misunderstandings but theirs was a situation that could have happened in real life. I actually like that I was able to sympathize with both female characters. I really enjoyed how their relationship was so outwardly hostile. It was so refreshing to see!
I loved the relationship between the guys. Their friendship was so fun. The love between the leads was just so sweet and cute. I took. 5 points off because of the ending but it was not a deal breaker. The ending left me wanting more.

I loved this drama so much. I was reluctant to watch it in the beginning because it is not the usual type of drama that I watch. I am so glad I did. The acting was great. The female detective lead was annoying at first when she cried for everything but eventually they improved her character. That is the great thing about this drama they have excellent character development. The story moved along in a fantastic drama way but also in a realistic way. It wasn't just zero to ten, I got to see the reasons the characters changed. I took off. 5 because the ending ruined it for me. It wasn't a bad ending just different than what I imagined.... Overall it was wonderful and I would recommend it to everyone!

I started this drama reluctantly because the title kind of made me think the lead female was going to be cunning but surprise she wasn't! I usually avoid internet feuds because there is no point but this drama made me defend the characters every week! I felt for the characters so much that I wanted for people to understand them the same way I did! I loved this drama so much! The main characters were so layered and amazingly real, I can't say enough about how much I loved them! This drama was very realistic in its portrayal of its main characters how the side characters started one way and ended completely opposite also the second leads acting was not as great as the main leads that is why I gave the acting a 9. This show was well written and it made me stand out amongst the other dramas airing. The acting the soundtrack were great. This had one of the best soundtracks! Anyways I will end my review here because it is just a lovefest from me. Also very very funny while at the same time heart warming. Even if you dont like romantic comedies you should watch it because it will make you a fan.

This was such a refreshing and awesome drama. Mystery, romance, comedy. It is a wonderful drama and very underrated. I LOVED every second of this drama. The mystery angle was so good it had me wondering what was going on. My sister had to convince me to watch this and it took 2 episodes but after that I was hooked. The romance didnt come until later but it was definitely worth it. The love story is sweet and simple not usual kdrama type where he is rich and she is poor just about a woman who falls for a man and a man who falls for a woman. It is so simple and adorable. Everyone should watch it if they want something new and exciting and FUNNY! The comedy in this drama was AMAZING! It had me laughing out loud at least a couple of times per episode.

I just finished writing another review where I wrote that there aren't many kdramas with strong female characters. Now I seem like a liar because this drama is yet another example of a kdrama with a strong female character. The character in this drama goes through so much yet she is never weak or defeated. The thing I love the most is she isn't dumb. She catches on to things and even though the things she finds out are heartbreaking and I am sure they are things she wishes didn't happen yet she doesn't let her emotions cloud her judgment. She stands up for herself and she doesn't let herself be a victim instead she owns up to her mistakes and she takes responsibility for them. She doesn't want people to see her as helpless yet she isn't afraid to ask for help even from someone she hates. Why? Because she has a goal and will do whatever it takes to reach that goal. I could continue my lovefest for this character but I will move on. Don't get me wrong though she isn't perfect and I didn't want to watch a drama with a sacrificing woman but the way the story develops and the characters grow make it worth it.The character development for all of these characters was great. No one ever changes so much that you are left wondering what happened. Everything is a process and a well done process at that. The actors were great and every week I was left waiting for the next week to come. Before the last episodes the writer of this drama said that the ending would be something totally unexpected and trust me it really was. I was always on here commenting after every episode and not one of us predicted that ending. Best kdrama of the year, sorry Master's Sun.

This drama is amazing. It starts out like your regular kdrama. The difference is that this is about a prince and about the north/south relationship. Anyways though the acting is amazing from everyone right from the start. The thing that I love so much about this drama is the relationships between the characters. Even though they are the royal family I liked how the family members act just like a regular family that loves and supports one another no matter what. Also the way the story developed between the two leads was great. It didn't follow the clichés that many kdramas tend to follow. There isn't much I can say that hasn't been said by other reviewers without giving out spoilers but their relationship was just so amazing. If you want to watch a poor defeated woman who will let the man or anyone else step all over her then this is not for you. But if you want to see a woman who is strong and doesn't allow anyone to disrespect her then you have to watch this. I don't want to make it sound like this show is just about her because it isn't at all but this is one of the few kdramas where I have seen such a strong female character. At the same time the character development for the male lead is AMAZING. He starts out as your regular kdrama male but the writers developed this character into everything a viewer could have wanted and more. The communication between these 2 characters is something I have never seen in any other kdrama. They rely on each other without any of them being weak. And I won't even get started on the side characters because if I don't I will never stop. But it was the best kdrama out there. Please watch it everyone if you haven't already.

Omo!!! This drama is amazing. It has surpassed every other drama I have seen. I was just looking for something light and fluffy to get me over Masters Sun but what I found was amazing. I love the showso much I have tried to start watching it a long time ago and I didn't like it. however I was like let me give it one more shot I did and I'm so happy I did. by the end of episode 1 I was hooked. this definitely is the funniest drama I've seen. The lead actor is hilarious the actress is so awesome and the rest of the cast was funny too. I would definitely recommend this to anybody wants to laugh and also to anybody who wants to see a purely great romantic story.this doesn't follow the typical K drama plot. its unique and funny and everybody will love it. Their love was so pure and genuine.I just loved it. I feel that it definitely lived up to the title of greatest love because I see such a great and amazing love and it is definitely my favorite kdrama ever. sometimes I rewatch the episode of a kdrama but this one makes me want to re watch every single episode that's how good it is.
