Thai horror dramas set at high school. Specially, ThirTeen Terrors' Wanida draws a lot of parallelisms with Enigma, since they have the same director. Like Fah, Vee and her friend are deeply drawn to the supernatural and when they heard about a curse at their school, they decided to investigate it.

In both, apart from depicting gay puppy love, one of the male leads is the singer of a high school band and, therefore, music -and their countless OSTs- is a key point element through the whole story.

Similar vibe!

A bunch of high school students form a band kinda deficient, but full of determination. Their goal? To prove themselves and win nothing but the Hot Wave Music contest (the biggest national music contest for young talent in Thailand).

Both have a juvenile feeling. As a teen romcom, you can see they share the typical tropes: the first love, friends quarrels, concerns about their future...

Thai horror titles whose core is black magic or witchcraft. Gore and bloody elements are expected. The production value of both is high.

Dark Thai titles, they deal with controversial themes to display social critic. The direction and concepts feel very fresh, 'Westernized', so they stand out among another Thai series.

Very similar plot concepts and aesthetics:

Driven by debts and searching a better life, a bunch of characters join together in an 'everything for money' journey in which a sex work app plays a big place.

In both, the direction is dynamic, it has an effective edition and good pacing.

Never Let Me Go has been strongly inspirited by the 2000's version of Hong Neu Mangkorn, a lakorn which tells the story of a mafia heiress, who faces a daily life-threatening danger, and her bodyguard.

Thai female centred dramas in which one of the leads wants to find the true about her BFF/sister's death, what leads to her getting more and more involved in the lives of bitchy girls and their dark chaotic past.

Moreover, both titles depict in a slight way a lesbian romance and deal with themes like abuse or sexual violence.
