I personally had absolutely no expectations for the movie, but the puffy eyes frightened me as I am built near the water. However, every tear was worth it.
The story was appealing to me, because at the time of the Korean War my mother’s uncle was one of the Turkish soldiers, he returned wounded and died leaving a few weeks old daughter behind right upon return. So the story being a true story gives the whole movie an extra notch of authenticity.
The movie shows war in a more human way, not only it’s kill or be killed side. It was told in a way that everyone could see sth from themselves in the story. The Marylin Monroe sequence got me all emotional.
Usually I hate the main actor, but he did such a splendid work in this movie. Also all the other actors, especially the lil girl did a great work.
The OST was really suitable for the movie and fit the emotions. After I came out of the cinema I thought I wouldn’t watch it again, but I think I was wrong as I just watched it on TV 2 days ago.
As a side not, I was at the scene were Süleyman is at the train station, but of course waiting in my train. Every weekday I get through the train station and a few Turkish drama and movie scenes have been filmed at that historic station, so I wasn’t interested in the filming at the time. But in the cinema I remembered the green truck in the background.
Try the movie if you can find it with subs you won’t regret it.

When I dived into this drama the only reason for me was Odagiri Joe. What I was left with after completing the drama in one sitting was a bunch of feelings.
This drama is like life itself, you don’t have a clear ongoing storyline, but still the story flows by slowly like the lil water in the backyard of the shop.
The characters were nearly all as insecure about life, love, money and employment as my real life friends are at their age.
You can find yourself very clearly in their struggles.
They were just lovely, hateful, funny and merciless as all of us.
The OST was perfect for the drama and reflected the emotions in a good way.
I’m sure one day I’ll watch it again.

The drama is not really a drama, but more like an ad and documentary tour for sweets in Tokyo.
I watched it, because it is on Netflix and the eps are just 24 mins. So it was convenient watching it on the train, while going to work. Kantaro’s expressions at some point were hilarious. I couldn’t take myself from smiling at some scenes. And to be honest I skipped most of the sweet heaven scenes.
Before starting to watch this make sure you don’t have any high expectations.
Enjoy your ride through the ‘Sweets Heaven’!!!

I love this movie.
Most of the ppl who watched this movie think that the movie is lacking something.
Its the speed that is lacking, but I love slow drama and movies.
The story is heartwrenching, if you are also built near waters.
The acting is very very very good. The kids and adults are doing a great job.
The music fits very good and the theme by Ken Hirai is still one of my favs.
Every year I watch this mvie again and will watch it again.
Watch it if you are okey with the slow pace.
I don't think its a waste of time. One of my favorite movies.

Hey this masterpiece of a movie even overcomes bad quality.
Since I found vids in good quality I'm watching this movie whenever I have time.
For a person who hates war and blood I'm suprized myself. Never ever did I love a bloody war movie enough to watch it again.
The acting is just great. You even get to feel with the actors. That one special scene with the soldiers singing.....ohhh man...
The music fits the movie very good and the soldiers singing at that one point is just amazing.
Rewatch value? Mulan is one of the few movies I watched over and over again.
Just watch this movie. It is one of the best movies ever.
Noone should be disappointed by this movie.

While it was airing I was still a noob to drama and so I somehow didn't watch it.
I don't think I wasted my time.
The drama is based on a true story. Thats why you can't really say its bad.
The acting is really good, though the actors had their problems with English. Even the amateur actors were good.
The OST was okey, but nothing to listen after the drama.
Rewatching? Maybe someday with someone who likes action and suspense.
Its not a must watch, but its not a waste of time at the same time.

If your answer is YES go straight and watch Osozaki no Himawari.
Reading the review might be giving off a very boring flair, but its not the least boring.
Most of my friends know that I love slow pace( but solid) drama. The story is very well told and you don't get upset by the way the whole drama goes. The topics of the drama are very unusually, its not just the love between lovers that is shown. You see the love between neigbors, between friends and family.
The acting is very firm. Ikuta, Kiritani, Maki and all the others pull off a very strong act and you think they really live it.
The beautiful scenerie is a bonus of the drama.
The OST is like every japanese drama OST not very varied, but the theme is soo good and fitting. The fact that the theme song is sung by all the main actors makes it even better.
Why not go and watch the drama now?

The beginning of the drama is a cliche in my opinion, but the actors are very good and so you don't get bored. Later on the story doesn't let go of you and your emotions.
All the characters are being introduced in a good way. They don't stay as 2D characters, but are 3D. You don't just see the development of the main couple, but also the development of the side characters like the princess, the best friends and so on.
Believe me or not I loved the villian. No matter what bad he did I so wanted to forgive him. I so wanted him to turn good.
The OST is one of the best I ever heard. Wow, how the many songs moved me to tears at time. Hell, I even cried for the happy moments. The songs are all on my Mp3 and I get the same emotions everytime I listen to them.
Did I mention the acting? All actors do a good job. Park Shi Ho not only shows of his good looks and abs, but also an outstanding performance.
Moon Chae Won showed her great acting skills through this drama. Her chemistry with PSH was very good and you could feel their love.
Lee Min Woo as Jung Jong just broke my heart with his acting. Song Jong Ho was so good as the villian.
I don't think I'll ever rewatch this drama again, but I recomment it to everyone.
As said its one of the best drama ever.

Maybe its the slowest movie I ever watched, but can you love a movie like that? Yes, you can!
Though the quality of the vids I used were very bad, I was drown in the movie until the last minute.
Both main actors do their job 100 percent. I loved how they act in a similiar way, just like the movie needed it.
The music is not that good, but it also doesn't bother you or disturb the story.
If I could do I would have given the movie a 10***** score.
Rewatch value? Dunno how many times I rewatched it.
Just watch this movie.
You need eyecandy? Takeshi Kaneshiro is the manliest eyecandy you can get.

Why did I continue watching it? Because of Sung Yu Ri and the great story.
The story starts off as an ordinary story, but at an unexpected point it turns into a deepp story. You get dragged along by Han Tae Wong and Kim Bo Ra's bitter sweet lovestory. You feel their pain and joy.
Hyun Bin and Sung Yu Ri pull of their roles in an overwhelming way. I especially loved Sung Yu Ri's performance.
the overall cast is good and also the side stories are adorable.
The music is very fitting and you are being pulled in the story by the music.
For the fangirls out where: Hyun Bin is an eyecandy not to be overlooked. Sweating Hyun Bin ;)
I gave this drama a 10/10 score even though someone spoiled the ending for me.
Would I rewatch it? Yes, I want to rewatch it, but as I don't have that much time.
Enjoy the drama, but have a box of tissues in your reach.

What is so great about this drama to even suck in me this intense?
The drama starts very fast and the pace goes on in the same speed. The story doesn't drag.
The music fits, but sometimes I'd like the scenes to be silent. I still listen to the OST at times.
The acting is just awesome. I don't like Van Nes Wu. Yes, I hate his face and he looks so clumsy, but he did his job very good. Ady An....wow...that woman is just beautiful. She suits her role so good. I really really loved her. The boy actor is a diffrent caliber, so cute.
Chris Wu as Hua Tuo Ye was really believable, the way he acted and all. I want to have a friend like that. Also all the other actors did their job good. The only one I didn't like this much was the fiancee.
I already rewatched it so the rewatch value is high.
Don't fret because of the 21 ep or because you don't like Van Nes Wu like me just give it a try.

From the first Episode to the last one I had a smile on my face.
Seeing how Asuka is trying to hide his true self is somehow exciting.
I liked how his arch rival Tonomine turns every woman into a butterfly.
How Tachibana stalks Asuka and Ryo tries to protect Asuka.
Every character has its own cuteness they are the reason this drama should be watched.
Its not one of the super great manga adaptions like Hana Yori Dango or others, but its a drama I´m happy I watched.

But I did it. Saw the girl in Good Life-Arigatou and I liked her.
This drama was on my to watch list for a while, but as I realized that its that woman in it I just started watching it. All the actors are really good, as usual for a jdrama.
The story is well built and is very interesting.
Why watch a drama thats about working in a company? Now, this drama depicts very nicely that working in such an environment is not easy, but can also be very good.
It shows that not all guys who are doing wrong are bad.
Everybody has its own struggels and gives his stress out on somebodyelse. If they hurt you its not always because they want to hurt you, but that they hurt themselves.
I stop right here and hope you will give this drama a go, cause I myself will rewatch it in near future.

But both never thought of ending up with a comlete stranger in a hotel in Singapur. That one night changes the lives of the two!
Now Seung Wan and Se Jin have to live what other ppl do the reversed way. Falling in love, dating, marrying and than having a baby out of love.
This drama is different from the dramas I have watched before. The charcters are very nice and suit their actors very good. The girl actress is very cute and though she is definitly not a professional she gives you goosebumps at some scenes.
Throughout the drama I smiled, laughted, got angry and cried.
This drama doesn`t seem like a high scale production, but with its cute and (in my opinion) believable story it makes up for all the missing glimglim.
Ohh, and the fact that this drama is not a constante good girl/boy beats bad girl/boy or bad girl/boy beats good girl/boy makes it much better.

The acting is great! One of the best I've seen so far. The whole movie is very well made.
Its a masterpiece....
After watching it on TV I wanted to rewatch it. I searched for it in internet and in real life.
Can't tell how happy I was then I finally found it.
