At the beginning, i completely disliked this drama and was about to drop it. I kept comparing it to Hana Kimi and hating it more and more. Finally i came to the conclusion that while Hana Kimi is more of a comedy, To The Beautiful You is a melodrama. HK focuses on the relationships of the students and their growth within the three dorms in a comedic way, where as TTBY focuses on the relationship between the leads in a somewhat serious way. Once i got past all the comparing, i realised this is actually a pretty good drama on its own. The music was amazing, as expected. And the last episode i was pretty sad to see it end.
