Wow!

I, as someone whose mortal enemies include Horror and Psychological, somehow accidentally started watching this of all shows. And then went on to marathon it within three evenings. Short version of review: Wow!!

So, first of all the story - This takes Psychological to new levels. Talk about mind games, talk about twists. You think you have a case figured out, hah - here's a big twist. You think you have a character figured out, hah - couldn't be more wrong. Don't trust yourself while watching this show. It all fits together into one big puzzle, cut into beautifully paced episodes of 25 - 40 minutes each.

The characters: Big thumbs up! Obviously the main characters are amazing, but we know that so let's spotlight the side characters instead. Loved that the police was actually useful! Loved the little beautiful side stories that were hinted on but not necessarily explored all the way. Also, talk about -devastatingly- sad back stories. You will want to give out a bunch of hugs while watching this one (then again, it's a show about murders so maybe that's a given). And despite all the... Dark, it managed to hit all the Bromance clichés! A+!

The last four episodes were a wild ride, impossible to stop watching at that point. The show made me laugh, cry, and doubt myself. Also, it got a bit scary at points. No jump scares, thankfully, but man, does it work hard to creep you out. I have a bit of a love/hate relationship with the ending song, it's an acquired taste, I suppose. Very fitting.

Anyway - Big recommendation! Watch, watch!

Contains less insects than you might expect!

No, really. This show doesn't actually involve many insects at all, considering that's the literal title and summary. So don't let that stop you from giving it a try.

In this show, you will find very lovable characters that defy drama clichés. Sweet, developing relationships without a focus on romance. Teacher/student, Mentor/mentee, Siblings, Parent/child, you will find them all!

The cases are interesting but not as interesting as the drama wants you to believe. I enjoyed them and the twists did surprise me, but no, I did not need to watch the same flashback five times. Thankfully, they only started doing this in the second half of the drama.

The ending did actually manage to surprise me and I was satisfied with it! Overall, I enjoyed the time I spent watching these characters - Would recommend! (And the ending song is amazing, I'm absolutely in love with it.)

This was a nice drama that I quite enjoyed watching, but definitely not for the storyline. The story was clicheed and repetitive, at some points very unrealistic and frustrating. The focus of every episode was to force the main character into her hero persona without giving any of the other characters the chance to truly shine.

The acting was stiff at times, but that was part of the drama's flair: Movement and character's positions weren't necessarily natural, they concentrated on posing and looking good. It's a great drama to take screenshots of but it did seem a bit ridiculous at times.

This all sounds very negative, but the cute friendships between the characters, funny and emotional scenes and the talented actors made this a worthwhile drama to watch.

I was very pleased at the absolute lack of a serious romantic subplot! I would recommend this to everyone else who enjoys platonic love more than the romantic kind. I would not recommend this to anyone who thinks romantic relationships are the most important part of any storyline - You will not enjoy this.

If you liked the Drama, you will most likely enjoy this movie, too. It's basically just a few snippets of the Manga put together into a fast-paced light movie.

Since I wasn't used to it anymore, the acting seemed way over the top and over-dramatic to me and the effects were kind of horrible, but after a while I got used to that again and really enjoyed seeing the characters interact again.

I liked that they focused on the side characters instead of the main couple in this movie. There were really cute scenes in it.

If you didn't like the Drama, don't bother with the movie. :)

For me, this is a drama that's hard to review because my opinion changed so drastically over the episodes.

The first 10 episodes were amazing and I couldn't stop watching. They were funny, entertaining, dramatic and sad at the exact right time. The writing was incredible and I loved all of it.

The second half of the drama disappointed me a lot, though. The story started dragging and it felt like they could have easily put what was left of the plot into 5 episodes instead of 10. Things started to get repeated and the characters' actions frustrated me, episodes went by without much happening and I had to fight my way through them at times.

Still, I overall really liked the story. I think it was more a pace-problem than a story-problem.

The acting was phenomenal. The main actors did an amazing job acting two roles at once, everything seemed natural and I really felt like they were in character the whole time.

The characters themselves were interesting, entertaining and nice to watch. I liked the side characters, too. (Except for the second half of the drama where they got really, really clicheed.)

The music was nice and fitting, the scenes were beautiful and I'll definitely rewatch parts of this drama, too.

After watching the second half, I actually didn't want to rate this better than 8, but thinking back to the first half of the Drama I would've rated it a perfect 10, so combining them I'll just take the middle-way.

First of all, I'd only recommend this to people who've read the manga or seen the anime. Everyone who doesn't know the story might feel overwhelmed by the fast pace and the huge junks of story they just left out.

They tried to get a lot of story into very little time, so in between there's pieces missing that could've explained the character and relationship development. Since I knew the manga and anime, I just added those and found the movie really entertaining.

All in all, the actor choices were great and the characters were acted out nearly perfectly. They chose great story lines, too. A little less story with a little more character development would've been nice, but wouldn't have been as action-packed.

I have to say that I really liked the fighting scenes, too! They were really well-done and realistic.

Overall, it's a great movie and every Kenshin-fan should watch it.

I absolutely loved this show. I started it because I had heard of the great characters and bromance and I definitely wasn't disappointed. Instead of focusing on romance, this drama focused on the relationships between all characters, be it hate or love or friendship - Well, mainly friendship - and I loved it.

All in all, the characters were realistic. Some of the acting was a little over the top, but that was okay since it was a school drama. I was able to sympathize with the main characters and really felt with them. There was no character I couldn't stand if the show didn't want me to hate them anyway.

The story was great. Some might say it was pretty much about nothing, just showing the everyday life of those kids and the teachers, but for me the friendship parts were so big that it never got boring. Of course there's the school parts, too. Achieving their goals, finding themselves.

The music was fitting, the drama wasn't too slow or fast paced and overall I liked everything. Thinking back of my thoughts about each episode, I liked every single one of them.

I mainly recommend this to everyone who's not too fond of dramas focusing on romance - And actually to everyone else, too. I think this is a drama for everyone. Give it a try.

If you're very lighthearted, you should not watch this movie. It has some pretty horrible scenes I had to look away from.

The story is basically a typical revenge story, but in a way I haven't seen yet. It goes back and forth between the two main characters, keeping the suspense really high and managing to surprise the viewer again and again.

The acting was really good and seemed natural. Everything looked extremely real.

It stayed on the high suspense level up until the ending which was amazing in itself. The title definitely fit.

Overall, a great movie for fans of the genre but definitely not something I'm going to watch again.

I was surprised that I liked this drama since I hate the plastic surgery theme and I would never do it myself. I first thought that this drama was supposed to make plastic surgery sound good or find excuses for it but that wasn't the case at all. Don't be mislead by it.

The acting was great, here I compliment Ayano Go and Kitano Kii especially. I also liked their characters the most.

I think this drama has a storyline for everyone. They managed to fit quite a few different characters into it, even if it is only 8 episodes long. They could have just as well made it longer, I wouldn't have minded.

I really liked the theme song, but apart from that there's not much to say.

Also, the little "interviews" with people on the streets at the end of every episode were very cute.

I'm just saying that everyone should give this a try, even though I know that it's not everyone's taste.
And you should especially watch it if you like bromance. I mean, that's what made me start it. ;)

This Drama managed to surprise me a lot. First of all I hated the first two episodes and considered to drop it, but thankfully because of all the good things I had heard about it I decided to fight myself through the rest.
Well, after having watched the first two episodes there wasn't much "fighting" left because I actually started to enjoy it.

The characters were so different, deep, cute, funny, emotional, complicated and sometimes annoying that I never grew bored of them. Well, sometimes I was frustrated with the main couple but it wasn't bad enough to mention.

The story was unique in a way but not something that has never been done before. I liked this take of it and I think that was mainly because of the characters rather than the story itself, since I'm not a fan of historical Dramas. Oh, actually I strongly dislike them. ;)

The acting was great. Even though Park Min Young never looked, acted or sounded like a man in my opinion - I was so frustrated with it being unrealistic for the other students to not realize she was a girl - everyone pulled their role off perfectly. I especially enjoyed Goo Yong Ha and Geol Oh.

The music was very good and fitting and most of all it wasn't always the same song playing. I enjoyed it, but I'm not going to look for the OST.

I usually don't rewatch anything, but for this one I give it a high rating because I will certainly rewatch some scenes of it. A lot.

So overall I recommend this Drama to everyone (even if the historical aspect may turn you off) and and advice you to not drop it after the first episode. It will be worth giving a try. :)

This is an incredible drama. I have loved it from the first episode up until the very last second. It was simply beautiful, perfectly narrated and overall had a really special feeling.

I loved how all the characters had their own screen time, everyone was important and there were absolutely no stereotypes.
The acting was amazing, everything seemed real and honest. The actors were perfectly chosen.

The story was unique and well written. The character and story development had the right pace, even though I was sometimes frustrated with the characters - Looking back at it, everything else wouldn't have fit.

Finally, the ending was the only fitting end they could have given this drama. I didn't expect it (this drama managed to surprise me until the last episode, I couldn't foresee anything!) and I loved it.

Definitely recommending this, watch it. It deserves the good ratings and reviews.

I wanted to rate this a 9, but I rated it 8 after thinking about it. I hated the special effects, many things looked really fake and sometimes the acting was a little awkward. But it still deserves an 8 in my opinion.

The overall idea and the story were lovely and unique. The music reminded me so much of Halloween and I love Halloween, I especially love the intro song. It's so cute.

The characters were interesting and I felt with them. My favorite was Belo, he's incredibly adorable. I liked Bela and the supporting characters, too, but sometimes I got a little frustrated with Bem being his awkward and shy self and not having much character development.. Bela won in that one, she made a huge transformation.

Getting back to the special effects which I didn't like and I was looking away when they transformed because I found it a little embarrassing and cheesy, but those things only made up about 5 % of the drama and I loved the rest of it.

Just give it a try, though I admit it may not be everyone's taste. :)

As a big fan of IWGP and after searching for this Special for months my expectations were really high, even though I only heard bad things about it. My overall facit after watching it: It's not as bad as they say, but it's not good either.
Still I enjoyed seeing the IWGP characters again so much that I rated it a lot better than it deserved.
The acting was okay, similar to the drama. The music was actually the same as in the drama which made it a little nostalgic. I think it was perfect. Apart from the background music this special had at least two scenes were they should've shortened the songs a lot. Those were concerts.
The story itself was move like a drama episode than a movie. Nothing special to be honest, but it had funny moments and less awkward and embarrassing scenes than the drama - Well, it was only a tenth of the length, though. ;)
I was really disappointed how less screentime the supporting characters had. Especially those I loved so much during the drama. Especially Takashi.
I loved some of the new characters, though. They were cute. It was also interesting to see how other characters developed during the 3 years.
Overall I think this is worth a watch if you're a fan of the drama. If you didn't enjoy the drama you shouldn't watch this, it's the same. :)

First of all, the general idea of this drama is great. That's what made me watch it even though people had mainly bad things to say about it.
It started out really good, too. I liked the main characters, the interaction between them was cute, the fast growing friendship between all five of them was beautiful and there were lots of intense and nice scenes.
Then it got worse. Suddenly there was one tragedy after the other, everyone needed more and more pain, love triangles and it mushed into a great mess.
I don't know how, but they made it work somehow. Of course I was irritated sometimes and it does fit the word "melodrama", but I didn't hate it. There was always someone or something that kept me watching and that I liked about that huge mess.
In the end it got better again. I thought some topics weren't handled properly, but overall I was rather enjoying it again. I loved the ending, it was the only appropriate ending to give to this drama.

The acting was good. It wasn't perfect, but they seemed honest and believable. I felt with the characters (okay, after a while it got harder within all the tragedies) and they managed to pull their characters off.

The music was perfect, I simply loved it. It's a mixture of American and Japanese music, fitting the modern style of the story and the Twitter-theme. The songs were great.

This doesn't have anything to do with the drama itself, but the mirrors I watched also had a great quality and the subs were perfect. So it was a pleasure to watch this and I recommend everyone to try it, even though I do understand that it's not everyone's taste - And if it wasn't for the ending, I wouldn't have rated it this high either.
Just give it a try!

There's just one word for this drama: Awesome.
I really didn't want to watch it because the summary sounded boring and the picture wasn't that great, either - But I'm so glad I did!
Everything about this was perfect. You will know after having watched the first episode. Each of the episodes could just as well be a movie, they are amazing.
The acting was incredible, especially the dogs'. Anyway, the dogs were the stars of this drama. I have no idea how they got them to act like they did, but it was amazing. Okay, sometimes it was a little too human to be realistic, but to be honest that's what people want to see..
The scenery looked real, too. It was very interesting to see everything happening without all the new technology.
The music was as dramatic as the drama itself, the opening and ending song was wonderful and fitting.
I think I never cried as much because of a drama as I did while I watched this one. Not even 1 Litre of Tears.
Even if you don't want to, at least watch the first episode! It will change your mind.
