What to do if you end up in a situation like this?

This zombie movie was an intense story with some much needed humor and dives into the human psyche in a zombie apocalypse. It is not better than Train to Busan, but it does stand out as its own movie.

The story was not the best written because you jump into the action of the movie not even 10 minutes into it. There were some parts not explain like how it began, but I liked it was a mystery on how we don't know how a zombie apocalypse could happen. I also like the reversal of the two characters roles, will explain in a second. One of my favorite parts of the writing is we got to look into the male lead's head and how he feels about what is happening around him. There were some hard parts to watch in this movie so watch out!!

Acting: I love Park Shin Hye in this role. Please drama gods?! Give her more of these type of roles!! I liked that the female lead got to do a lot of the action, and not just the male lead. Yoo Ah In did a fantastic job on giving us the human side of how to react to the world around him. They were fantastic together as allies and the chemistry was great too. I am also glad there was no romance in this movie!! I would feel a romance would slow down the story because the action was fast-paced. The slower moments were about the character development and I appreciated that immensely!!!

Music: The tone of the music fitted the tone of the story well. The music made the story more intense, or emotional or funny (the little that we got).

Re-watch: I have watched this a couple of times already. I think you should watch it first for the experience, then maybe another viewing to figure what is happening. I think it does require a couple of watches to appreciate this more. But I would also understand if you only watch this once since I could be hard to watch at times.

Overall, I would recommend this movie to anyone who likes zombie apocalypse movies, action, and the actors. It story may not be as deep as Train to Busan, but it is an entertaining ride from start to finish.

Enjoy this for the funny and the chemistry between the leads.

This was such a hysterical drama to watch. Shin Hye Sun out-do's herself once again with this character. Kim Jung Hyun is the calm lead we need when the female lead can go bonkers in a good way. The humor might be for you , but the story gets interesting as the episodes go by.

Story: The story was quite interesting about a man who goes back in time was a woman. Fish out of water humor ensures. There were some plot holes , but it won't get in the way of the enjoyment of the story. The King's story was the most interesting story throughout the second half and the fish out of water humor was the interesting point through the first half. Both leads go through such a character development that by the end of the drama, you can see the difference. The ending did get me mad a little but, but overall, I did love the story.

Cast: The cast sold this story so well. I think if it was handled by any other actors (especially the main three leads), this probably wouldn't be as good as it was. Shin Hye Sun had to channel Choi Ji Hyuk's characteristics and had to make you believe that she was a man in a woman's body. She did it so well!! Kim Jung Hyun shinned more in the second half and the dramatic moments he owned so well! The conflict he had to go through was visceral watch for me (Time 2018 drama flashback). Shin Hye Sun also shinned in the dramatic moments as well. There were some tense moments between our King and Queen, and they owned the floor both together and individually. The two seconds leads, I feel ,were only there to create a rift between the leads to be honest. There wasn't as much character development as the leads and I did find the second male lead annoying at times. But the seconds did a good job of having me root for the leads even more. My favorite supporting characters were Lady Choi and the female lead's maid. They were such funny characters and really did care for the queen for who she was and would do anything to make sure she was safe. Also, the romantic chemistry between Shin Hye Sun and Kim Jung Hyun was also fantastic.

Music: The music was not as memorable as other dramas, but it did fit the tone of the drama well. The Bong Hwan (ending) song was the standout of this category. It fits the tone and fits Bong Hwan's character well.

Re-watch: I would rewatch this drama for Shin Hye Sun and Kim Jung Hyun's comedic and romantic chemistry. This would a watch if you had a bad day or needing to laugh out loud.

Overall, if you are into the humor type, the actors or time travel shows, you should give this a try. Don't miss out Shin Hye Sun's multi-layered performance and Kim Jung Hyun humor and dramatic performance.

Come watch this with a tissues and pillows.

This is the first review I have done in a long time so bear with me as I explain my feeling for this drama.

Story: There are some stuff in the drama we have seen before in the genre like opposing parents, corruptions, lots of characters that are jerks, etc. But the execution of the story was so well done. I came in knowing that there were going to be 3 seasons before this story comes to a close, so I did like the open-ended ending that we got. I was able to be watch this in 2 1/2 days! That is how much the story grabbed me from the get-go. This was the first time in a while since I was super invested in all of the characters including the villains. I cried a lot and I was so angry at so many of the characters that it can be a stressful watch.

Acting: I have to say... The acting was one of the best I have seen this year so far, from all of the characters. This was the first time I have seen Kim So Yeon as a villain and I have to say. It was one of the best acting I have seen from her (I have watched a few of her projects and she played female leads). Lee Ji Ah was a revelation, I did not recognize her from Me too Flower (I saw this drama last year LOL). She was so much better here than Me too Flower if you didn't like her character in that drama, then try this one. The actors playing all of the high school students did such of a good job of hating them and rooting for them (some of them). Uhm Ki Joon also did a fantastic job as a villain as well; he did such a good job to be a scary, manipulative villain. But the actor who stole the show for me was Park Eun Seok ( I have never seen him in anything before this drama).

Music: The music was mainly contained opera music, orchestra background music and very few music with vocals. The music helped elevate the show so well. I think if this had more music with the vocals (pop songs mainly) it would of ruined the moment I think. It was a great choice of music. Since music was part of the main plot, I think the opera music choices were well chosen was well.

Re-watch: I would not watch the whole thing back-to back. This story made me really stress out for all of the characters involved. But there was a scene that was so tense between two characters near the later half of the show that I re-watched daily for 4 days straight (no joke mind you). It was the dialogue of that scene, the acting, the chemistry between the two actors, it was a visceral watch and felt the pain, anger, sorrow, betrayal between the two character. One of the best fight scenes I have seen in a long time.

Overall, if you are into betrayal, corruption, character development (some, not all), mystery, suspense and over-the-top acting (quite a bit of screaming heads up on that), and any of these actors , you will enjoy this drama. P.S. Before you watch, trend lightly because some scenes could cause triggers in some people. If you have to, take breaks in between if it gets super hard to watch.

It has been a while since I watched a drama, especially a melodrama, that has took my emotions and break my heart over and over again. I was truly invested in the drama's world and characters. You will need to tissues, a pillow near by and a certain mind-set since this is a true melodrama (and it can be depressing at times). Definitely my top 3 dramas of 2018!

Story: This story was very interesting about two people from different backgrounds connecting to each other mentally and emotionally after a few events and spending a lot of time together. The story was written in a way that was true to real life and can relate to either one or both of the leads in someway. One of the most realistic melodramas I have seen in a long while.

Acting: The acting was top-notch! I was speechless throughout this drama. I could not imagine any other people playing the leads. Kim Jung Hyun as Soo Ho was raw, real and intense with so much impact. This was the first time that I was truly invested in a male lead character in a melodrama (it usually takes time for me to get invested in them). I cried so many times because of his character. Seo Hyun as Ji Hyun was just as real, raw and intense as Soo Ho. She made me cry just as much too. . . Seo Hyun portrayed a woman who was going on with her life, but then, it just stops after a few events till Soo Ho show up in her life. The chemistry between them was so intense, electric, sad and sometimes sweet even. The other leads were people who you would love to hate so much with passion!

Music: Really hit the right spots for me. The background music was fantastic, and fitting for the tone of the drama. The best song in this drama is "Time" by Gaho. It is sad song that really brings the mood to the drama and fits the scenes that it was in.

Re-watch or Nah?: Would not watch this again because It was hard to watch. I scored a 8/10 because I did watch this twice. . . . I was hard both times. Maybe I would recommend a one-watch for people who are starting this drama.

Overall,
Do not let Kim Jung Hyun press conference controversy stop you from watching this drama! You would understand why he did what he did once you see this drama. You will not regret this. . . . The story is interesting, the acting is beyond expectation and the characters will hit you with so many feels that it is insane.

This drama was one of the best dramas of the year! This has everything that I wanted in a drama like this: Action, Comedy, Drama, Mystery, Romance, Conspiracy, great character development and so on.

The story was sometime predictable, but there were still twists and turns that I did not expect in this drama! It has been a while since I was so invested in a crime story and not only the good guys, but the villains too.

The acting all around was fantastic!!! From the main characters to the supporting characters and the villains were well written. I was invested in almost of all the characters and wanted everyone to have the ending they deserve (bad guys get justice and good guys win). The action scenes from Lee Jung Ki was amazingly choreographed. I learned that he did his own stunts (like Ji Chang Wook did in K2). Seo Ye Ji did an amazing job and held her own in this drama! Her character was smart, can hold her own in a fight, funny and last but not least open-minded. The supporting characters were very fun to watch especially when the drama got too much (I have cried a bit in this drama). For the first time in a while, I was invested and creeped out by the villains in this drama and what they were going to do. They were smart, resourceful and full of fun to watch the interactions between them and the main characters! The romance in my opinion was realistic type of romance where they just are there for each other as they help each other out as partners in crime and romance. Lee Jung Ki and Seo Ye Ji has amazing chemistry that was so fun to watch; from their interestingly "flirty" bickering to understanding/open-minding partners in crime to understanding friendship and romance. This couple is one of the best couples of 2018!

The background music was very memorable and fitted in all the scenes. The music really help the mood of this drama (this feeling reminds me of I Hear Your Voice when it came to the BGMs being memorable)!

I have re-watched it twice already! I only re-watched it for the romance and the funny moments as well.

Overall, I would recommend this drama to anyone who loves a good action/crime/mystery/romance drama with sprinkle of humor throughout and well-thought out villains and main characters.

Haru ga ita tells the story about the question, "What is a normal family?" And also tells you about accepting a person for who they are, and not what it's on the surface (your partner, family and so on). There things in the drama that are touched upon that people don't talk about very often (can't say because it is spoilers). But I am glad they did.

What I loved about this drama was it was about family and the romance was actually not the main point of the drama (it was there I promise). The romance had cliches, but I think it was about Naoko and Ji Won learning about each other through her family. It was also Ji Won's acceptance and influence changed her and her family's views of each other and life.  I did like that each episode was about each family member and Ji Won and their life.

The acting was not ground-breaking, Kai did a good job for what he was given. Kai does a fantastic job in sad scenes(emotional). Even with the language barrier, I thought he and Kana had a nice chemistry (especially in the beginning).  I also give a shout out to Sano Shiro who plays Naoko's father. He did a nice job protraying someone that had a lot of inner conflicts with himself (watch for yourself).

Music was something I wasn't paying attention to, but loved that the BGMs matched the tone of the show. But I really did like the ending theme song "Loving you Mo(re?)" by EXO.

You will either like or hate the ending. I actually like the ending because it was open ended. I felt that even though it didn't end like I expected to, but Ji Won and Naoko are going on with their lives better than they have known if they didn't met in the first place. (Pitch forks are probably aiming in my direction).

Overall, I like the drama for what it was, a family drama with a dash of romance. You might prepare tissues, just in case because I did cry in some parts of the drama. If you like dramas about family and make you think a little bit, then this drama is for you. Also if you are a Kai or any of the actor's/actress fans, then this drama is for you.

This drama was entertaining, cute, easy to watch drama. It was super adorable. The characters and the interactions between the cast were good. The plot was not the best executed, but you sometimes can't help it that you want more.

Story-8/10: It was a cute story, but there were 2 different dramas in one. One was an office romance and a mystery drama on another. The writing improved throughout the story. That's why the score is a little bit higher score than I would of scored. The some characters were well written, but there were characters that not as well written. I also felt that I missed something as the drama ended. I felt that the mystery wasn't finished then got forgotten.

Acting-8/10: Hwan Ki was the best character of all time. I can teamsters to him. He was just so much fun to watch him get out of his shell, little by little. Ro Woon was a little hard to like at first, but then she get more likable as the series goes on. The chemistry between Hwan Ki and Ro Woon was very good. Woo Il was a call brushing character. There were times that I didn't like him, but there were also times that he was totally adorable(I think it was the fault of the writing). I just couldn't choose to like him or not at times. The co-workers in this series were funny and endearing.

Music-7/10- some songs were cutes but didn't really remember them. The songs fit the scenes.

Re-watch or not?: I would probably watch this again if so want something easy to watch type of show.

Overall-8/10: What this for the character development, the actors/actresses, the comedy and easy to watch shows with heart.

I really enjoyed this drama. There were times that I was on the edge of my seat. Also there were times that it was funny, and some cute moments as well. Even though the writing is not the best, the characters themselves were fantastic to watch.

Story-7.5/10: The plot was not the best in execution. But the characters were well written. There were parts throughout the drama that I felt was a little random. But there were moments that were very satisfying to watch. There the suspenseful scenes were well done.

Acting-9/10: This was the best part of the drama. The actors/actresses were doing their character justice. The chemistry between the cast was fantastic. I give praises to Jung Kyung Ho, Bak Hee Jin, Choi Tae Joon, Lee Sun Bin Oh Jung Se and Kim Pub Lae. They were the best characters and best acted out of them all. There were a few others, but these were the ones I paid attention to most. Bong Hee was such a strong, awesome women. She can kick some butt. Seo Joon was cute, smart but also intense(when it came down to it). Tae Ho was super intense, scary and a bit vunerable. Ji Ah was a sassy but strong character as well. Ki Joon had a great back story. He was a comedic, caring type of character. Do Pal was intense, creepy and sly character. Everytime Do Pal and/or Tae Ho were on screen, I was scared about what they would do.

Music-9/10: This was also the best aspect of this drama. What I liked about this OST was that most of it was BGMs(background/instrumental music). A lot of the this OST really set the tone of the scenes and it was in the right place each time.

Re-watch or not?: Nah. It was a roller coaster ride. Regardless of the plot, it was intense, suspenseful drama.

Overall score-8/10: You should watch this drama for the character development, the actors/actresses, and the survival type of drama.

I love contract marriage troupes. I came upon this drama and randomly decided to watch it and. . . It was very good. It's very cute, sweet and cheesy drama.

Story: 8/10 because we have the normal troupes arrange marriage, cunning 2nd female lead & jerky male lead & spunky, native female leads. But it was done kind of refreshing despite the drama being 11 years old!!!

Acting: 9/10 because I felt the chemistry between the leads. Lee Dong Gun did fantastic job in this drama. I like that they solve their conflicts quickly. Lee Da Hae did fantastic as the cunning, mean second lead. Even though some of the scenes were cheesy, the couple were cute together!! The leads have amazing chemistry. Their love was believable.

Music: 7/10 because it was cute, but not enough to make me listen to over and over. Some BGMs fit the scenes.

Re-watch value: 9/10 because it's very sweet and has so much humor despite being cheesy.

Overall, if you like older dramas, romantic-comedies, cheesy lines, marriage hijinks, the actors/actresses & seeing Lee Da Hae as the second lead, then this drama is for you.

I was in a Japanese drama slump for a really long time. But I'm really glad that I ended up watching this drama. This is most realistic Japanese drama I have seen. I came in for Narimiya Hiroki(Gokusen, Bloody Monday 1-2), Fujiki Naohito(Cinderella Story), & Hayami Mokomichi(From 5 to 9). But the story line and Misako as Momoko was amazing.

Story: 9/10 because we don't get a sick kids daycare type of stories very often. It had so much heart to this drama. But it was also surprising dark regarding a character's past. I get into the life of Momoko as she works hard to be a real caregiver. It's a story about family, working hard & trying to find happiness in what you are doing.

Acting: 10/10 because Misako as Momoko took me by surprise. I haven't seen her in anything, but she was great as Momoko. I could relate to her in some aspects of her life. Hiroki as Asahina was amazing. He is amazing as a father. Trying to interact with his enstranged daughter no matter how much she ignores him. Momoko's family. . . let me just say. . . is evil! That's all I can say without spoiling it. The other characters were good. The children were cute to watch. Some of the children get character development & there were moments where I was crying my eyes out. Misako & Hiroki have great chemistry. There is a lot of character development.

Music: It fitted the scenes, but not as memorable. I was too invested in the story to listen to the music.

Re-watch value: 8/10 because I watched it twice & still liked it. Some of the scenes in the drama were too sad to re-watch.

Overall, if you like child actors/actress, comedy, romance, slice-of-life, the actors/actresses, dramas that have lot of heart & life lessons, then this drama is for you.

I heard a lot of good things about this movie & saw a lot of YouTube video mvs of this drama. . . I loved it so much. I haven't felt a lot of love to a Taiwanese male lead in a very long time.

Story: 9/10 because despite of some the cliches, it was still very enjoyable & had so much heart to the movie. What started as bickering, misunderstood relationship; it became something more & I got to watch that on screen.

Acting: 10/10 because I love Zhen Xin & Tai Yu together. Their friendship & their budding romance was very believable & I enjoyed their journey. Wang Darren as Tai Yu was fantastic! He's funny, sweet & lovable despite his tough exterior because of his past. I also enjoyed Vivian as Zhen Xin as well. She took Zhen Xin and brought her to life from her acting to her appearance! I didn't recognize her at all(Vivian is the main lead in Taste of Love). Ouyang was nice & sweet, but felt very one dimensional. When Ouyang unintentionally hurt Zhen Xin, it hurt me too. The chemistry was there as well.

Music: 7/10: it was adorable, but barely remember it. Too invested in the story too listen to the music.

Rewatch value: 10/10 because the movie was adorable & easy to watch.

Overall, if you like the cast, typical mean guy, nice girl troupe, realistic character development & friendship dramas/movies. . . Then you should watch this movie.

I have been waiting for the drama for a really long time. For 2 years actually(the trailer was in 2014 & the drama aired in 2015). I was going into it for Danson Tang in a drama again. But I ended up like the main characters as well.

Story: 8/10 because it was very predictable, but it still a lot of fun despite of it. I wished there was more action scenes, because it doesn't have a lot of action despite being a supernatural drama. But the love between the leads actually felt realistic despite the superficial feel the drama has.

Acting: 9/10 because I was enjoying a lot of the characters! Danson Tang as Roy was good. Despite having his voice dubbed in the original version(everyone else's voices were dubbed the Mandarin version), it wasn't annoying like some of the other Hong Kong/China dramas. Wai Michelle was very good of convincing me that Hei Lam was a sweet, nice person to her friends. I'm glad that she is accepting to the supernatural side of people around her. The chemistry between Danson & Michelle was great. I also really liked Yin Terrance as George & the fox goddess(don't know the actress's name or the characters's name right on top of my head). George loves to tease Roy about feeling again. He is very sexy also(let me just say XD) The Fox Goddess was adorable too and fun to watch her do her thing. The second female lead is a mean, cunning & dense character!!! GRRRR!!! Love Hei Lam's friend from school.

Music: 7/10 because I barely remember the music, but remembered that it was good enough to fit the scenes.

Re-watch value: 8/10 because despite the superfical feeling that I get from this drama, it was still very enjoyable. It has some funny moments.

Overall, if you like the supernatural romance(vampires in perticular), the cast or Hong Kong dramas in general, then you should try it.

I had very high hopes for this mini drama because of the plot & the cast. I was not disappointed at all. I wish it was longer, but at the same time, I was satisfied with the ending. I came in to this drama to watch Kim So Hyun & Ji Soo.

Story: 9/10 because the story was inspirational, hopeful & fun despite the heavy topics mentioned in the drama. They balance the happy moments with the heavy moments. I'm glad that there was a hint of romance in this drama, but was not the main plot line. You rarely get romance dramas that don't get a main plot line anymore. The drama was very realistic about pressure & life. The ending will surprise you.

Acting: 10/10 because the acting was amazing. Despite being 3 episode drama, I was very invested with the characters including the moms! I love the chemistry between Cha Shik & his mother. It's rare in drama land where the mother-son combo are very close in a relationship. I also like the dynamic between Yoo Seul & her mother despite not being close because her being a prodigy. I also like that Kim So Hyun has chemistry with not only Ji Soo & Ye Ji Won, but with her second lead co-star Shin Jae Ha as well. The character Yoo Seul is interesting. Despite being introverted, she can be sassy & fun if she lets anyone into her life. There was some good development despite being 3 episodes long and that's rare to pull off.

Music: 9/10 because the classical music choices were very enjoyable to listen to. The fact that I was a violin player and played some piano since elementary school made me relate to the 3 main characters even more.

Re-watch value: 9/10 because despite the heavy topics mentioned in the drama, it was heart-felt & easy to watch.

Overall, it's heavy melodrama with a hopeful message to everyone that you can find your passion and re-kindle your passion no matter the circumstances that life throws at you.

I still ended up like the drama. It was super cute with a tense, mysterious air . That is hard to pull off.

Story: 7.5/10 because it had a very strong start! It would of been the best drama of the year if they took a different turn from what was given. Some of the sub plots felt rushed, but was interesting.  I'm glad the drama had a faster pace to it. It was a very realistic slice-of-life romance drama about 2 college students who started dating despite their many flaws & the people who were against it. The story felt original until the second half. The subplots, despite some of them were rushed, were realistic as well.

Cast: 9.5/10 because it was the best part of the drama and the characters wanted me to watch more. Kim Go Eun did an amazing job as Hong Seol. She was very realistic & I was able to relate to her so much. She was the best character in the drama. Yoo Jung(Park Hae Jin) was an enigma, dark, mysterious, but interestingly adorable character. I had fun with being cautious with liking him as a character. I haven't seen a drama or movie with this type of character. He's cold, but lovable. He's character was realistic as well, flaws and all. I also enjoyed In Ho as a character too. I really liked that he was friends with Hong Seol through thick and thin. I love Eun Taek & Bora so much. They had cute chemistry & loved their friendship with not only Seol, but with each other. The chemistry between Go Eun & Hae Jin was amazing. I like the chemistry between In Ho & In Ha despite being very distant to each other. In Ha would of been more of an interesting character if the writers wrote more scenes. Lee Sung Kyung was good as In Ha.

Music: 8/10 I really liked most of the music in the drama, but some were not as memorable.

Re-watch value: 8/10 because despite the conspiracy, I really liked the character development. Love the friendship, the family moments, realistic story-line & the romance between Yoo Jung & Hong Seol.

Overall, it was a good drama that would of been the best drama of the year if the drama team kept withe the original script. If you are going to watch this drama & know the conspiracy, then be very open minded about the realistic story line, the chemistry between the cast, the comedy & the friendship that happen in this drama.

This was an easy to watch, cute drama about two thing that I never thought would be a great combo. Chocolate & business finance. I wanted to watch it for Kai(EXO) & Lee Il Hwa(The Reply Series). But ended up liking all the characters too.

Story: 8/10 because it was a very easy to watch & refreshing with the the combo. It's not enough for a lot of character development, but it was enough to really like the characters despite their flaws. Despite the cliches, it was somewhat refreshing.

Acting: 8.5/10 because the characters pulled me in & wanted me to be interested in their characters despite being only 6 episodes long. Kai was a huge surprise to me. I've only seen him act as a cameo in EXO Next Door, but he improved a lot since then. There was one scene where I truly astonished with how Kai handle the scene. Eun Bin was really cute as Choco.

Music: 7/10 because it was cute, but don't want to listen to all the time.

Re-watch Value: 8/10 because it was easy to watch. If I was waiting for a new drama to come or waiting for an airing episode to come, I would re-watch this drama.

Overall, if you are looking for an easy paced, easy to watch drama, then it's for you. If you are watching it for Kai, you'll be surprised. It's not too big on the business aspect, but it does teach you a couple of things about it. It would be cool if people have a cafe like this in the real world.
