This is different than the typical period drama .... the characters often felt very modern w/ their ideas..... especially Zhi Xia, her adoptive father and Chi Rui . I watched only ep 1-13 and ep 39-40 w/ subs .... the rest I watched raw..... The story and acting were good enough that I understood most of what was going on. The GOOD: -- The plot is captivating and fast-paced for the most part (drags a bit after the middle) .... Unique love story
