It was okay.

Just okay.

I know the author's works and while interesting, this author is a bit long winded. However I still like her novels. This novel, I picked it up and put it down more than once. It just took too long for the protagonists to acknowledge their love.

I thought that since I had no patience to read it, why not watch it. I'm glad I did. I got to finish the story. However I will say the political machination scenes were lacking of common sense and weren't too intricate. I don't think it was solved in any logical way either. One day people were plotting and it was 'serious', the next day everything was solved and everyone was happy. It was too easy, not much effort going into it. It's because all the intricate details like concubines children, palace maids doing dirty work, inter-family relationships within the upper-class etc that were in the novel can't be put onto the screen. The fight scenes were a bit of a joke too.

However the actors are all beautiful to look at. I enjoyed watching their faces and clothing and the customs this author details in her work. I always enjoy her characters and I'm happy to see the production stayed true to the story as much as possible. This was not my favorite book by the author, but the (romance) story is still nice to see. Overall, it was an okay rode for when you have nothing to do and nothing to watch.

My favorite character is Princess Jiamin. The actress is so beautiful too.

Nice job.

FL overacting ruins the whole thing

Thumbs down.
The FL overacted too much. I was distracted by the way she moves her mouth in an exaggerated manner, her over expressed immaturity, the overly cutesy way she tries to behave, her loud voice and generally, last but not least, the character's stupidity.

I don't know who's idea it was to have the female lead act this way, but she definitely does not match the very serious male lead character, and in fact, she ruins the viewing experience. This is one case of Japanese entertainment falling far short... again.

I like this drama because of the comedy. At first, it was a little ehhh, but by the second episode things picked up. Especially the part where our nang'ek started playing the role of nang rai and was caught in her own drama. She met her match in the man who played the ML.

This was downright entertaining, the fights and their coming closer together was very entertaining and very charming to see. I recommend this to comedy and romance lovers. I liked the siblings relationship, especially the flirting the FL and another character did, just for no other reason than to piss off the ML. I also liked the ML's family who were so nice and 100% accepting of the FL, very rare given the circumstances under which she entered their family. I like how the family, including the ML never mistrusted her or mistreated her. They let her character speak for itself and were open hearted towards her. The servant, especially Paan and Ongat were awesome to see, and I also liked Taiwan and Pink's friendship. This was a lovely, funny lakorn.

The only bad thing about it was the last three or four episodes. Like a typical lakorn the last few episodes with kind of downhill, but the villain got their just desserts which was not the typical in a thai lakorn.

What also was not typical what is that ML never ever cheated on FL not even emotionally. I recommend this drama.

I mainly watch dramas for the story-line. To be honest, this drama was a little more than just okay. I have to admit, the most interesting part was't the romance, or the two leads. It was a cohesion of years of mystery coming to light. I really like the fake marriage trope so the leads' romance was frustrating, yet cute.

Overall, Great acted very nice as did the female lead. I liked their acting. I liked the mischievous girl / strict cop angle. That was fun to watch. The cop warning his wife not to do anything illegal when she leaves the house lol.

What I didn't like is the nong sao, but I understand there must be a cray b*a*ch in a lakorn. She is it. Her husband also is the male version lol. Match made in heaven.

There were some things that did not wrap up very well, or were ignored, but I can live with that. Great and his FL as well as the 2nd leads, made this nice to watch. The crime parts were good too. The criminals and "bad people" were actually the best actors here. I also liked the supporting village people. They really cared for their neighbours, despite inside fighting. That was endearing to see.

I would recommend this.

This drama story is not flawless but it comes pretty close to perfect. It's fluffy, does not have too much waves, sticks to the esport as advertised, and is also a commentary about regret in your twenties and moving past all difficulties to build a good life.

The romance is awesome, if a little cringeworthy. I loved all the cringy bits as that is what adds the ultimate fluff to this sweet romance story.

The screenwriter is the author of the novel, so I can safely say that what is not in the book, is in the drama and what is not in the drama, is in the book. One story on two mediums... equals more of this cute story for us to see and obsess over. In the novel, God Gun in a bigger and older con-artist. It's a good thing he wasn't that all over Squiddy in the drama, because that wouldn't go over so well onscreen (though I'd love to see those moments!) This speaks of the author's skill of writing and turning her novel into a screenplay fit for TV. Awesome job!

Against my expectations, given the subject matter of the show (I thought it would be revenge and forced rape), I actually enjoyed this show. Until the last episode that is.

The beginning is action packed, angsty and filled with all kinds of feelings. You really hate the villainess and her cronies. And I kind of hated Chabaa's brother too. He was one weak character, I think. Regarding the revenge, as a sister with only one bro, I understand Akee. He was a good man before all of this, and he was a kind man during it (not nice, but kind to others not from Chabaa's family). His revenge warped him, and there seemed to be forced scenes, but never rape. Chabaa also gave him as good as she got whenever he tried to kiss her. He basically spent the entire kidnapping session saving her and taking care of her in between the revenge nonsense.

Honestly, the brother's and Khun Ji's story was more interesting to me. We actually got to see how they started to care for each other, how they shared problems and helped each other. It's more than we got to see with the main couple.

However, the main reason I kept watching is for the villains in this show. They carried this storyline and were awesome actors. The villains were a lot more interesting to watch than any other storyline. Everything in the show happened as a reaction to the main villainess's actions. Therefore, when her part was over, the story became so boring. Luckily that was only the last two episodes.

And the last episode... I feel I wasted an hour of my life. I wanted to see how the romance was resolved, and felt happy at the outcome of 'the wedding'. However, I was mystified by how Chabaa and Akee fell in love. Like how? What was I watching and didn't see that very important development?

Overall, I really liked this show and it's interesting enough. The villaness was the most acclaimed and outstanding actor for me here. Everyone else was flat and normal. I applaud her acting., and she's pretty too.

Give this a try. It's not as rapey as you think. Actually, there is no rape.

There's nothing truly interesting about this story or cast, or acting. Anything, really. It's just overall an Okay show. If you're bored or looking for something that is just about romance, this is something to consider. It's not truly interesting though.

The only thing interesting was the beginning. The first half was good, kept me watching. However, after the return of a certain character, the already flat story devolved from there. This story is only marketed as a romance. How can I believe he loves the main character when he's wishy washy and was willing to marry someone else no matter how bad she hurt him. (That's not a spoiler. In the synopsis, it mentions he's getting married). Also, the main character's feelings feel like a young girl's infatuation. Plus all the lies... I honestly couldn't suspend my disbelief to properly watch this.

It's not as bad as 80% of Thai dramas out there, though, so give it a try if you like.

It's not an original story, but I confess, the reason I watched it is because it was not original. t followed a tried and true formula of a cold rich guy and the poor girl whose life eases because he loves her so much. I adore these, I adore doting stories, where the ml and fl stay together and support each other for the whole story. I won't put this on the same level as Well Intended Love, but it's got some elements of WIL that makes this cute to watch.

It's good to pass the time, you won't feel the urge to rush to the next episode, but if you're looking for a warm, light hearted drama with no fuss, and brings a smile to your face while you relax, this is one to consider.

Great lakorn with great acting and lots of sweet moments. This sounds like a revenge drama, but it's so not. It's sweet and cute with enough intense spice to keep you interested. There's comedy too, so it's lighthearted and less serious. I liked this balance. It worked really well for me. Plus, the chemistry between the main leads, as well as Thaywa's younger sis and bf, were awesome. Raveet and Thaywa had perfect chemistry right from the flower shop. What do you need better than that?

The main male lead is taking revenge for his sister - only he's so very bad at it. So bad, he doesn't even bother. He fell in love a first sight and he stayed in love right until the very end. When she's not in front of him, sometimes he's be "I'll make you hurt, Raveet!" but then she comes in front of him and he's all sweet and charming and caring. Sometimes he's reminded of his revenge mission, but he forgets 2 seconds after. In fact, he gave up on that pretty soon. His priority was just to build a family with her.

The star of this show has to go to Tawan, though. She's the best wingman I've ever seen in a movie/ drama. Raveet had no chance against that father-daughter duo. She is so cute and smart and precocious! I wanted to reach in and hug her. She was an adorable daughter to two loving parents. The family moments were to die for. I wish there was more.

The insane award goes to Davika. I can't believe her family let her roam free and her bro indulged in her madness at the expense of his life and happiness. She should have been locked up in a mental ward. The actress who played this role deserves an award, she did a great, outstanding job. Da is a weak character who cared only for herself and makes stupid, baseless assumptions that drives the plot forward and gives the show its spice, so I don't actually dislike her. I loved when Raveet, Thaywa and Tawan were being a family in front of Da. It made me go "Ha! You bish! Raveet is more loved than you!" because Da was loved and indulged by her entire family but one guy kinda broke her heart, and she's ready to give it all up. Pathetic.

The other characters were lovely to watch. Except for 3 women in the show, everyone loved and respected Raveet, very unlike some lakorns where everyone hates the female lead and only the male lead protects her. Here, her father in law and sis in law all expect Thaywa to take extra special care of her just because. And when he drops the ball sometimes (because lakorn drama) they let him have it. I like an In-law family that loves the female lead unconditionally.

So, in essence, this was an awesome show with outstanding (for me) characterization and execution. Loved it to pieces! Id's rewatch again in the future. By the way, there were so many kisses and bed scenes, I got my romantic fix fed. Awesome!

This was a beautiful story. I would like to end my review here because I'm still overwhelmed by its beauty.

The characters were all on point, and none of them were painted in a 1 dimensional light. They all had their good and bad points and there were situations that brought out both sides of people. Even the good aunt had bad points, and the bad aunt had good points - and they are all quite acknowledging about their faults when it is pointed out to them. Everyone were fully fleshed out characters here and got enough screen time. The writers for this must have been exceptional.

Controversially, my favourite characters would be Luk, Massaya, the bad aunt, and Pong. The main leads are my fav because they are so cute together and this story focuses mainly on the changing relationship between Massaya and Luk. Much more so than any other version. I watched precious versions in previous years and was always left dissatisfied because there wasn't enough romance. This one had the perfect balance of romance and family for me. (But maybe it has too much romance for other people? The main story is Luk and Massaya.)

I like the bad aunt over the good aunt because the bad aunt embraces her faults and goes along with it. Yet, deep inside, she loves deeply to a select few. She also sees others' faults and calls them out on it. She is a strong woman, and ans always, strong women are vilified by people around them. Granted, she didn't go about being 'strong' and truthful the correct way, but she was not afraid to call people out on their double standards no matter who they were. She also praised where praise was due.

Pong - I just understood him. He lived by his mom"s teaching, but knew when it was wrong, and he always did the right thing. His grandmother was his problem, as she was a problem for every single person in her family. Sometimes she reminded me of my own grandma, but my grandma gave up long ago on trying to control people - she knows she can't make young people do anything because we're too modern and wayward lol.

I like that this show was set in the past (maybe 1950s to 1970s) Characters like this would go about the situations in this story a totally different way in modern times. That is what makes this story so charming and sweet. I'd like to see a modern version, but I also know this story can"t really fly without being bratty and abrasive in modern times.

For Massaya, the character, some say she is immature and bratty. I don't see that. I see a young girl struggling at falling in love and fitting into the city life. She was also much more than the Ram... family thought she was, better educated etc. She did not expose herself because she was upset at their self- superiority, and unwillingness to learn about her. She struggled with being herself in a place that told her every way of life she knew before, was wrong. Even her grandma - maybe Massaya came to love her grandma, but she only stayed for Luk.

What I hated this show for - grandma tried to keep marrying everyone off. And the music was inappropriate at times.

Loved this so much. This story wasn't so much revenge though, more about the growth of a character. A fascinating, astounding character. Despite my appreciation, I'm giving this 7.5 because the 2nd leads and all the other side character had way to much screen time. It was so boring when the leads were off screen, that I fell asleep in the middle of the day. I started skipping all the scenes without the leads after that.

So, for the story: our beastly character - hot, handsome, powerful, and charming - is like a wounded bear who is rough with and hurts everyone around him because that is all he knows in his life. He is upstanding and revered in the community but despite commanding loyalty, I think many people don't get close to him because he is fearsome.

Then he suddenly has a family in the form of a little boy and the boy"s aunt. This was formed by force - because what the hero wants, he gets - and he hates the aunt due to some misconceptions (because slap and kiss lakorn). He treats her so badly that I'm surprised no one calls the police. Yet all his workers and his lawyer keep making excuses for him. I hated that part. Why must a woman put up with abuse because the man is lashing out from the scars of his past? Why did everyone keep making excuses for the abuse?

He really wanted the love of the little boy, but he didn't know how to get it, so in the process, made things worse. The boy and his aunt hated and feared him. So he was sad. Boo Hoo. Still no excuse. Despite all this, you can't help but be interested in this hero and his story. He is an outstanding character in every way.

But slowly, he changes and learns to let his little (forced) family in. The best parts to me (because I'm a romantic) were the many times he apologises to the MFL for treating her badly and hurting her. He does it tearfully and genuinely. When he falls in love, he accepts that love whole heartedly. For example, when she angers and betrays him, he is sad and disappointed, but he is not mad and does not hate her. He is rather open to her about his feelings.

And he pouts so adorably. especially at the end when he tells her he's mad at her but he can get un-mad at her. Lol. He was asking to be buttered up. By the end, he is a completely different person, changed by love and so very willing to accept that change and that love. That alone (and his hot bod) made this worth it.

My only problem - Why the 2nd leads got so much screen time? Their story was boring and useless to the plot. I skipped them the entire show.

Best story and male lead in the series. Best male lead in a Thai Lakorn. He is patient, kind, understanding. The female lead tries his patience and sanity on a regular, but he knows how to interact with her without hurting her. No rape at all, despite the co-habitation plot. The romance in this is awesome!

This drama is also very short and great to pass the time. I loved this story so much, I wish there was just like 2 episodes more.

This was just okay. Or even less than okay.

The side characters annoyed me so much. They were given more screen time and more story than our leads. Why the hell should I care about some people from some fictional county that has nothing to do with the leads? If one of the leads were from that country, or lived in that country, or worked for that country, or had some story related to that country, then sure. But they didn't. Being a detached spy for that country doesn't count because it's not a personal story. Why the hell did we bother about the country?

Hated the side characters, and since they seemed like the main characters most of the time, I hated the show. Got nothing to say about the main leads. They were barely here. They did have some lovely bickering and sweet moments though.

Skip this. Don't waste your time.

On the plus side, there was no rape by our MML.

Against my better judgement, I actually liked this slap and kiss lakon.

I usually don't like these things because I think the hero doesn't treat her right (if you're in love, show it with some tender touches please!) and doesn't grovel enough in the end. However, in this one, he's not so much of a dick until he get the confirmation he needs, and even then, he regrets his actions. Then he grovels for a whole episode. I like that it happened like that. Too long and it would have dragged, too short and I would have hated it. Romance is a plus here.

For the heroine, I like that she's strong and independent enough to leave him and stand up for herself. She's vulnerable but not weak during this show. I like her character a lot, much more than other lakon heroines. Plus, she cries so prettily! I think that's a requirement for Thai actresses.

I honestly don't know how to review this. It's sweet and fluffy, just what youre looking for in a light romantic comedy.

I Love light, fluffy romance, so this one should have been right up my alley. However, it lacks something I can't define. I was kind of bored but intellectually, I acknowledge that this story is interesting. I'll just put it down to my preference of not liking robots in fiction. That's just my personal thhing. I don;t like people falling for robots and maybe he didn't but he spent a large part of the series thinking that he did. I feel weird about that. Idk.

Anyway, it was nice, just not great. Good for a filler, light, romance.
