A short, cold glass of lemonade in the summer heat.
The Good:- Choo Young Woo (Han Ji Yul). His character was imperfect, but he looked and felt like a tall glass of water in every scene. He's got the physique and presence of the main lead to the point it's so glaringly obvious amongst all of the townsfolk. He really does look like a Seoulite, so the casting choice for him was well done. I also enjoy his acting; he's apt for physical comedy, and I often laughed at his facial expressions and awkward body contortions. I hope he gets a more serious role next time. He looks like he'd do well in a police thriller or a more mature melodrama. I can see him getting a lot of success, especially at his young age.
-The setting. The town is believable, quaint, picturesque, and so realistically presented within this story-book-like cinematography that I could feel the heat and the sun just by watching our characters uncomfortable squirm on their bikes or while picking peaches under the country sun.
-Episode/series length. It was just long enough. I wouldn't have enjoyed hour-long episodes or a full 16-episode storyline.
-Chemistry between Han Ji Yul and Yun Hyeong, and Ji Yul with her cop colleagues
-The animals! Han Ji Yul is a veterinarian and is not just used as a plot device! He's actually working throughout the series and handling large animals. I liked that, and it gave the story more heart. It felt believable, and I enjoyed how the animals were often intertwined in the story.
The Not So Good:
-Unoriginal, cliche-laden storyline. Don't go into it expecting the drama to reinvent the wheel. I didn't, and I enjoyed it for what it was (although I skipped the 2FL and 2ML storylines entirely). I'd just come off a few heavy horror/thriller dramas, so this was my calm respite.
-Joy is not a good actress. The positive reviews are laden with Red Velvet fans, and that's fine, but let's not pretend she can act. I lost count of how many times I rolled my eyes at the fake cutesy laughs. I understand it may have been how her character was written, but it was often overly forced and unnatural. She had fine moments, but even broken clocks are right twice a day.
-Out of 12 episodes, they're only dating for 2, so it took way too long. I liked them dating. They were cute.
*I had a hard time rating this drama because it offers nothing new or very memorable on paper, but I enjoyed it. I often laughed or smiled (and even shed a tear or two), and I'm looking forward to more projects with the ML.

Ah, Lee Min Ki. It amazes me how much you creeped me out in the movie Monster yet I was still able to fall for you in this. Seriously, a great actor.
Honestly, its hard to find romcoms like these which is why I loved it so much. Up until the end, there weren't any unnecessary misunderstandings and they didn't let the parents fuck with their lives/relationship. Loved the friendships between the women. The side couples were annoying at times, especially Ho Rang and Won Seok. I really loved the friend Soo Ji though, she is so like me!

Slow, but ok.
My review contains a little bit of spoilers but it doesn't reveal too much? if you get what I mean? like detail complaints. not storyline or story progression.I didn't think this was that bad compared to the other written reviews. I do feel like the drama series was missing in the story development and character depth (which are the two main points of a story), the cast is pretty good enough to distract us from that gap.
After watching this drama, I have so many questions.
1. This is a high school, right? What do you mean drugs and parties? How would parents even fund for that?
2. What do you mean pregnant at 18 in a prestigious high school? Do they not attend classes?
3. also how does a grown woman disappear out of thin air (jung jae-i's mom) and have a little kid believe that after all that prestigious schooling?
4. who is the anonymous Instagram messager?
5. after this high school experience, how would the directors even depict their college? Because the school's vicinity alone is massive.
6. How long is this story's timeline? They can't be high school seniors forever right?

Along With the Gods 2: The Last 49 Days

Just like the first installment, this movie will not disappoint you at all. It has a soulful history. Each of their stories is blended with morals and sadness that will capture your spirit of empathy. The tales about wars, repentance, and forgiveness were perfectly combined in a setting of fantasy, but the emotions are conveyed to the audience perfectly.
Hands up to the cast. They are flawlessly skilled in their own craft. They manage again to portray their characters. The visuals have been just as great as the first movie, obviously, the production is at a high level along with the customs and sceneries.
There is no boredom moment while watching this movie, you must definitely watch it.

A stunningly mature and realistic drama
Doona! grabbed my attention from the first episode, the gorgeous visuals, beautiful characters and setting made me immediately intrigued. This is not your typical K-Drama, for me it felt more similar to western shows which I personally really liked. They especially gave us an deep insight into these characters making them more three-dimensional than most K-Dramas I have seen. Which also made their flourishing relationship so realistic and interesting to me. There was no cringy over-acting or big romantic gestures, it was just real and I could feel their love and yearning for each other through the screen.I read that the director used the series "Normal People" as a reference and I totally got that vibe, especially in that (very hot) scene in ep 6. It was shot and performed in a way that should be the new standard for Korean make-out scenes because it was so intimate and passionate. And it's really because of Suzy and Sejong, their chemistry and acting should not be overlooked here. Every scene between them just takes you into their world, they deserve all the awards!
Overall I am truly in love with this drama, I love seeing people making up theories about the ending (especially the one about the intros). I liked that it was open but not sad, there are so many possibilities, just like in real life. If you're still in doubt just watch it and you will surely get swept away.

A mafia turned good citizen
GOOD main leads.GOOD plot.
Above-average supporting characters.
An over-drag villain.
A complete disastrous representation of SK law.
A little bit of disappointment in the ending.
Overall a good watch.
A big no for re-watch.
The story begins kinda slowly. But after episode 4 it picks up the pace and makes you believe that our star MC will fight the evil and get his girl for sure. Slowly the plot twists arise and the episodes became more of an action-comedy to me. The execution of Gangster vibes is in check and the cuteness of Jeon Yeo-been makes your heart go throb.
If you like mafia / gangster type revenge plot with rom-com GO for this.

FAVORITE ROMCOM THIS 2024 SO FAR
This is my first ever review and I am so glad that I'm going to make a review for My Sweet Mobster. I have been waiting to watch a drama that would able to make me feel good like how the old kdramas made me feel. Even the OSTs are super great. The kind of OST that would surely elevate all your positive feelings. Uhm Tae Goo, I am so happy you did this project and you were finally introduced to bigger platforms. Hoping to see you more on projects like this but I kinda also like to watch you as a villan like your role in Age of Shadows. Way to go our King of Noir! Also, all the characters are perfectly casted. Although the story is not new for old fan of kdrama like me (childhood friends to lover theme is mostly used concept), this drama has its own charm. I am going to miss this drama so much. I don't think I can watch new drama for the mean time. I think i might just binge watch for 100th time fanmade videos and their so cute behind the scenes. Was this review helpful to you?
Attractive male leads
Its an amazing drama at least better than I expected it to be since I didn't like how they changed it from the webtoon. I'm not a fan of the webtoon but I be sympathize with the author. I dont she's happy to know that her story has been changed for more ratings however, it did got better.Pros:
1. The cast has amazing visuals
2. The story did improve from the webtoon
3. The love is in the air.
Cons:
1. You'll get your heart broken for the 2nd lead, again.
2. The story is a bit rushed but its understandable since its a drama not a webtoon.
3. I wanted more romance!!!
I hope In hyeop leads his own drama soon. I keep getting heart broken for him!!????

Storyline was bit off but the actors carried it well !
Just finished this drama ... I have very mixed feelings for this one !! Here's whyThings I liked about this drama :
1) Both MLs had there own struggle stories
2) Almost every character was strong in this drama
3) Suho deserved Ju Kyung bcoz he was from the start with her .... when he saved her from suicide , when he knew her secrets , when he told she's pretty even without makeup, when he saved her many times from accidently showing up her real face and also ju Kyung deserved him coz she understood his trauma and helped him expressing himself . Because of JK suho actually went from a cold person to soft , happy ,more responsive and good towards friends. I won't say seo Jun was bad , he was really good but I didn't feel the chemistry in JK and him. For JK it was always Suho and also in the start Seo Jun didn't actually have feelings for her , he was only using her to get suho but when he actually started feeling for her , he never expressed it after having so many chances .
4)So Ah and Tae Hoon , Joo Young and Go woon , Hee Kyung and Han Jun Woo were best couples ! I'll say I love them more than the MLs .
5) The wedding scene was chaotic but Ig it was my favorite part in last episode and brought life to it
6) Episode 11 and 12 will always be my favourite coz of the bromance of Su Ho and Seo Jun ! ?❤️
7) Seo Jun and Soo Jin were best SLs .... so powerful and energetic characters . Both of thems fighting scenes were gold !
8) Had many comedy scenes and loved them so much !
Things I didn't like :
1) I dropped this drama many a times coz it gets unbearable at some points but ig last episodes were bit worth it
2) They did Seo Jun so bad ? IK it was according to Manga but still my heart broke into pieces for him when he cried on stares ! May be he deserved a better ending where he finally moved on coz in the last scene where he sung , I still could see his love for her when she applied lipstick to him ?.
3) The only time I hated Su Ho was the reason of breakup .... like it wasn't even needed when it was just one month apart ... Ik long distance relationships are hard but he could've tried to also understand her side coz she even had harder time. When he came back, he actually should've apologized sincerely first than acting like nothing happened.
4) Too draggy drama tbh
5) don't watch if you get SL syndrome , coz it's too much in this drama .
6) Many misunderstanding scenes which made me wanna drop the drama
At the end I'll truly appreciate every actor in this drama coz even if the storyline was a bit off , the actors carried the drama for me atleast !

Big Mouse
MDL be like:-Get a drama with dumb writing, black and white characters, overpowered gary stu protag who has titanium plot armor, and an ending where all bad guys are punished regardless of their crimes and ml and fl live happy ever after: FUCKING MASTERPIECE SLAY GIRL!!!!!11
-Get a drama with clever writing, multidimensional characters, where protagonist struggles all the time to get what they want, and the ending is unhappy or bittersweet: REEEEEEEeeeeee *hellish screeching*
It so happens that Big Mouth (should be Big Mouse) is in this second category, and this explains any complaint or bad review you might have read of it. Really it's just MDL idiocy, the drama is great.
The only faults I could find are:
-The last episode felt rushed
-The ML can't act and was clearly chosen just for his looks. But it actually works in his favor here, somewhat, considering what kinda character he plays.
Extra credit to all the humorous and unintentionally humorous scenes that you might not expect from this kind of story and to acting of Yang Kyung Won who just dominated every scene he appeared in.

Even though there are still 2 other seasons planed I already love the series but sadly the book where it is based on isn't translated into English.
Have much fun with watching it!

The end is surprising. I was cheated again! I imagined a tragedy on stage...
I'm just disappointed that the band had so poor repertoire, because their songs were pretty nice.
