A teenage love that should become a love of youth and for life

Summer revives dormant or undeclared feelings due to fear of losing a friend, while the waves of the sea, when they hit the shore, raise splashes of water that wet two young people.
It's time to say goodbye to high school and say goodbye not only to other students, but also to childhood.
Will Sakura want to separate from her childhood friend Yuki?
How old is it, when you leave adolescence and enter adulthood, to see two young people eating ice cream on the seashore and discussing random things, including their "wish list" that includes things like " skip stones until you get home", play with a frog that decided to go out to sunbathe, or have fun with the water left by the rain on the reliefs of the sidewalk.
This is how best childhood friends Asakura Sakura (Kura Yuki) and Nagase Yuki (Mizusawa Rintaro) act, two teenagers about to finish high school, in a beautiful Japanese coastal city.
Scripted by Mizukawa Katamari and directed by Kariyama Shunsuke, the miniseries 'Kimi No Koto Dake Itai' reflects how Asakura has come to understand that they are no longer adults or children, and yet, he does not want to abandon the phase he is in. .. a midpoint between a carefree childhood and the time to enter adulthood and with it higher education.
A few days after finishing high school and facing the risk of losing sight of her friend when they both go to study far from each other, Sakura loses the fear that has accompanied her for years and confesses her love for Yuki and kisses him, who in turn he is stunned and confused by the revelation.
At this point, we must ask ourselves: Is Sakura's love reciprocated or not? Does Yuki feel the same?
This simple and tender love story follows the falling in love of these two characters, in a dramatized about 84 minutes long divided into just four episodes, which wonderfully balances adolescent innocence and the intensity of first love.
The first movements of teenage love in some of its most precious nuances are addressed in this fun, innocent and touching story. Through absolute simplicity, but no less profound and fascinating, as well as a touch of reality, a subtle, pure, honest, age-appropriate romance is shown.
Without other conflicts or secondary characters that alter the dynamic posed by the boys, the talented, thoughtful and even-tempered Sakura, and the mischievous, energetic and class clown Yuki, resoundingly convince the public about their friendship and budding love.
The miniseries does not risk crossing the limits of age or the school environment as its setting to show something more than this naive adolescent game, subtle flirtation and tender declaration of love. Almost two years after its production, the time may have come to show a romance, not in their adolescent stage, but in their youth, between these characters. Special chemistry and connection are enough for this.

Really warms your heart.

This series draws a lot of similarities from 2 moons (the first one), except for this one has somewhat more of an aftermath, skinship and naughtiness.

Has a lot of elements and twists.
Turns away from clichés at quite a lot of places then again some are kinda necessary to make everyone squeal, so yes a good balance.

The music is very fitting but quite forgettable I think doesn't sit on my mind for too long like some others.

The cast is excellent with great chemistry except for the kiss(es).

Overall it will be a great heartwarming ride for almost all of the BL fans. :)

Memorable memories of hard work

I would honestly rate this drama a 9.5 but I just couldn't help but rate it a 10. Personally for me it's one of those dramas where you may find yourself skimming through some parts of episodes but you can't help but to end up loving the drama. This drama holds a special place in my heart with the portrayal of the work behind firefighters and doctors. The OST "Ni De Da An" aka "Your Answer" is what made this drama a 10 for me. That OST plays during scenes of hardship and success of the firefighters which is very memorable. I love the romance in this drama especially the bromance.

100% Rewatch Worthy

I found this Kdrama back in 2018 and oh my god I am so glad I did! It was my first kdrama and since now it has always stuck with me and been my all time favourite no matter how many I’ve watched..

I literally have a yearly tradition where I rewatch my love from the star again and it seriously never gets old.
And trust me when I say this, I normally can never stand old kdramas and this is my only exception.

Yes it’s cringy at times, yes there might be small loopholes and things that literally cannot make sense but I honestly think the acting and story make up for this and how story is carried out
(The slight unrealistic/ cringy acting especially from the Fl becomes endearing after some time haha, also considering the style of kdramas back then it’s not so bad)
I found the background storyline somewhat boring at times but it doesn’t take away from the chemistry of the main two leads
You literally find yourself rooting for them later on.
I highly recommend it

Don't pass up this movie!

This was an excellent movie! Think "12 Angry Men". I'm not used to seeing Park Hyung Sik as a timid person. He, and the rest of the cast members, did an excellent job. This movie is about a juror that takes being on a jury very seriously.
Even though everyone else initially just wants to quickly submit a verdict so that they can go home, Park Hyung Sik's character wants to ensure that justice prevails. They upon listening to his thoughts, the other jurors finally decide to take their job seriously and ensure that they bring back the correct verdict for the man on trial. This movie was full of suppositions, partial evidence and twists and turns. I got emotional watching this, I became so invested in the jurors and their quest for justice.

Unexpectedly good!

I started this on a whim: I had nothing to watch, I wanted to watch a bl and this one had just finished airing so I decided to give it a go! If I had to decide whether to watch this based on the poster(comedy! urgh!) and the synopsis(school bl? urgh), I never would have started this. And I would have missed this little gem.

-What made this series extraordinary are the two main actors: Sea and Keen. While Keen is, just like his name suggests, keen, cheerful, happy go lucky and sweet and charming young man, I fell under the spell of Sea: his speaking voice, his solid acting and his sweetness. They are young but they are giving Gemini and First run for the money. I am eagerly waiting for their next project, together or separately, I don't care, I want to watch them in something else. Soon! In any case they are very much at ease with each other, and are not afraid to kiss in spite of their young age. Do not miss the bonus scenes at the end of the last episodes where they show us interrupted kisses from the drama uninterrupted: too cute! Speaking of which, there is the best accidental kiss I have ever seen in the first episode: cute and hilarious.

The plot is full of clichés but they are done so well, I did not mind them. The spoiled brat with a heart of gold, the struggling and suffering artist and cook with a heart of gold. Girl best friend with a heart of gold, encouraging the young men. The odd second couple. The cousin falling for the cook....In a way this reminds me of japanese dramas where everyone is nice and kind and open and even the apparently bad characters turn out to be nice. Actually, after the first episode, I was a bit worried at how they are going to stretch the thin plot over 12 episodes. Frankly they did a great job, not wasting too much time on repetitions, flashbacks and pointless subplots. There was not a dull moment!

They did away with annoying screaming trans characters which was one of the reasons why I enjoyed this so much. They also used a lot of sfx (lightning, hearts etc) and sound effects, which I usually hate with all my might. Here those did not bother me once. I am still reeling from the realization! LOL

I am very difficult when humour is concerned (slapstick and cring are to be avoided!) and here I was served the sweetest kind of funny with a minimal, barely perceptible cringe. Music on the other hand was a disappointment: it was the usual generic funky thai bl songs, which sound the same as every other thai bl song with a catchy tune and the passages a capella and eventually unremarkable.

This little drama is a perfect summer watch; sunny, fun, with some lovely acting, decent chemistry and solid writing. Don't expect to be shaken by this drama but it is a perfect blend of funny, fluffy and cute. Thank you for this nice surprise GMMTV.

hmmm

I just finished it, great story over all BUT what a bad ending story scenario.. in last 3 episode ( 41,42,43) its so boring and dull... enough for sang sang and Ning que action together.. too much about them, that make the story so dull.. its a pity .. Irene sang make it the ending bad to worse … so boring and dull watching her try to make a sad, innocence face.. didn't work at all... too bad for Ever Night series.. hope they will make a Remake of this drama in the future, which better cast, less (too much) dialogue between sang sang ang Ning que... regardless whoever the actor and the actress gonna be....

It's a very refreshing watch, not your usual KDrama

I started Run On without expectations, but it ended up raising the bar so high for 2021 dramas, in my opinion.

The build-up and the pacing of the story were beautifully written. Every episode is enjoyable and there were no boring parts. I couldn't stress enough how much refreshing this drama is, especially the screenplay. It's not always that the characters of a drama talks, like have actual, mature conversations. The dialogue among characters were flawless-- they were realistic and it's not trying so hard to be witty. The writer(s) found the perfect balance on it making it relatable to the audience.

I also love the characters, all of them. As individual characters, I love how their growth and development weren't rushed and shows how progress is not linear. The lead couple was very cute, being shy and all. Some may find this a bit "off", but I think it's very crucial considering the dynamics of the two. Not only it reflects the character development of (primarily) the main lead, but also how the female lead also grew as a person. On the other hand, the second lead couple balances the "shy, teenager love" of the main couple. There could've been a little improvement on the second FL's character, but it's wonderful nonetheless.

When I finished watching this, I felt a pang in my chest because it's over. I am happy with how it ended, and how the story went. This drama will surely hold a special place in my heart. It taught me the importance of self-love and the different faces of it.

IDK From where to start. its a really cute drama, characters are also cute and funny. BTW I was reading webtoon, I enjoyed it in the beginning but I stopped reading midway because it became so boring. characters were not changing in the webtoon. Ending did not go according to my hopes and i found myself disappointed. BUT I honestly liked the drama. The main reason i enjoyed watching is oppas. LOL There was Cha Eun Woo, Hwang In-yeop. How could not I enjoy?
“True Beauty” is TV series for those who need a little bit of fun and humor in their lives. I recommend you this drama. Here is to watch the love triangle, funny antics... In addition, i am broken-hearted due to the ending.

Prolly one of the best dramas with best casting ever!

I enjoyed the first season. No don’ doubt about that. But I lived the second. It’s been almost a month since the last episode aired and I still can’t seem to move on. AOS part 2 posts still appear on my social media explore pages and I keep going back to Netflix to re-watch certain parts of the episode.

What really captivated the fan base? I think it’s the casting of the series. While I loved Jun Somin’s acting skills, I loved the energy and the vibe Go Young Jung brought to the set. She is such a heaven made pairing with Lee Jae Wook. They have the best chemistry. So did with other actors. Like the crown Prince, Park Gangu, Jin Cho Young, Yul. And even between lord Park and manservant Kim ?. They were all great and gave their 100%.

I’m just sad that it ended in just 10 episodes. Would have been great if there were around another two episodes as I felt like the part two episodes were too rushed. The story like got a bit complicated towards the latter part but it kept us on the edge and gave us a lot to think about! I will definitely recommend this to everyone as I’ve already got alot of my friends to watch it ?.

I hope to see Jae Wook and Young Jung be casted together again. I’m not the type to think this, but they have crazy chemistry! Love you guys, everyone from AOS cast! ??

Excellent

I loved everything about this series. I did not know Park Bo Gum but he is a great actor,. This story is about young people trying to follow their dreams but it is not what I found deeply moving. What is what all about was what the fame and being a celebrity bring you. This shows the other side of the medal: the fake news, the loneliness, the jealousy, the power of the media that can ruin someone’s career. The difficulty for the family to deal with that fame. And the sacrifices it implies in terms of relationship with someone you love. And in that I found the story really interesting. I loved the female character who was so real. As a parent I found it really interesting to see the different positions adopted by the rich and the poor parents regarding their kids ‘dream I of becoming actors. Would I have supported my son if he had declared he wanted to be an actor...?

I watched this BL Lakorn series because P'Tao was here... and he is really a good actor, and also P'Toni. I'm expecting a good ending but it gives me questioned about what happen to Tod in the last series after, as Tao lead it. Is there any possible that Tod come again to Toni? I hope this series have a continuation about what happen to the leading characters. Who will Meng choose in the end? Nuch or... Tod?

Aside from this, Sattapong Phiangpor is NEW from me because of "Princess Hours" that was aired here in the Philippines translated into Tagalog Language. But when I saw this series, I was shocked because Tao intended to kiss with men (to think that Thai people are OK with that because in the Philippines, BL series are more less.)

No storyline after fake bully join there group,, he pretend to save the boy who FL saved so he can suddenly become a good guy
FL was so IDIOT she try to maintain her distance from first boy but then when bully come she be like friendship on 99% discount
i can understand first boy not the second one
second boy from the start approached them with motive of screwing FL second ML isn't a good guy if he got rejected by FL then he will turn into a bully again
everything he do is for his COCK
there is no genuine friendship from his side while the first boy genuinely become her friend after she saved him
love developed from admiration and liking is way more respectful then a love devolved based on sole lust
this move try to give wrong meaning of friendship and love

Hard topic done well

I found this drama highly realistic and truly informative about a problem most first world countries have - juvenile delinquency, and the inadequacies of the legal system to combat it. I myself retired from DSS which is social services in the US - and I had teens coming in for help with medical (pregnancy too often!) & living help. Kids who came thru the foster system & were flung out on their own at 18. Kids from bad or indifferent parents. Kids who were thrown out of their homes for not conforming to the morals or religions of their parents. Just heartbreaking.
This drama had as the central character a woman that I did not like at all. She had no business being a juvenile judge in the SK system as portrayed, because of her constant 'I hate juvenile offenders' spiel. Nope, nada, not acceptable. However, her journey was imminently worth watching. She overcame her prejudices and gave fair & impartial judgements, trying her best to help these kids on a path away from crime towards being productive citizens, despite their parents and their home situations. I very much enjoyed the way she went after the truth, like a terrier, thru-out.
Now, I do have a huge problem with that first case. A young teen (13???) who is schizophrenic???? WTF???? That psychopathic older teen used and manipulated this vulnerable, MENTALLY ILL child, and he had no business being put in the penal system at all. He needed psychiatric care, pure and simple. However, this really highlights for me the big problem SK seems to have in regards to mental illness - somewhere reform is needed. Lord knows, the US has areas (huge ones) where a ton of reforms are needed, BTW. In fact I'd say it's possible that the SK legal system overall is more efficient than the one here in the US (not a huge achievement). But the way mental illnesses are ignored is just insane.
I did not like the way the chief judge was treated by the main character, BTW. At no point did she ask him when he found out about his son - which makes a big difference. She exhibited a very holier-than-thou attitude thru the entire drama in fact, which made me long for someone to slap her down. Her boss was going to have his career ruined, as he knew when he found out about his son - despite the fact he hadn't a clue the kid & his wife had disobeyed him. That's another problem with SK - the way mere proximity (as in a family member, or someone you know/work with) to a criminal, or to scandal, can wash over one and destroy YOUR career etc! The way the families of criminals, who often have been victims of said criminals themselves, are demonized! This is something shown really well in the drama Come Hug Me.
I really loved the ending case - it showed what her problems were, and wrapped them up well. I could have done without her ridiculous lecture to her superior, which really had no truth in it whatsoever (throwing 11 year olds in the penal system does not 'teach them' anything except how to be better criminals next time). Those kids needed actual counseling and the kinds of consequences that children need - ie education and a sense of responsibility. Their parents failed them woefully, and it's not the job of the justice department, nor the schools, to give kids this. Both those boys looked to be sociopathic from the start, which is not going to somehow 'go away' by throwing them in jail or juvenile detention. Anymore than schizophrenia will somehow disappear using the same method. However, the older judge did slap her down a peg at least, and both seemed to learn something from this experience.

All in all this was a very worthwhile watch. Acting, of course, was top-notch.

I NEED MORE

Dangerous Romance was wild! The bullying in the first episodes was hard to watch but when you followed the story and the people it was so beatiful. The two friend groups went from bullys and victims to friends witch was nice to see.

Sailom And Kanghan was two diffrent yet so similar characters and to see them get to know each other and become friends and later on boyfriends was SOOO BEAUTIFUL! I loved their relationship so much and they really helped each other to become better.

PerthChimon was the foundation of this series, it was made for them. And the side couple, NawaGuy had a more realistic growth. For them it took time to grow fond of each other which I get since Nawa was one of the bullies.

This drama had everything, the plot, music and acting - everything was perfect! This is what I call a 10/10 series!!
