Why did i decide to watch this drama?! uggh. Oh, yes because of the star cast and because i loved the first season.

Stupid story
Messy plot
Eye candy
Idol actors
Nice songs
Dumbass Female lead
Asshole Male lead
Rocker second Male lead
A villainous second female lead who turns out to be not so villainous.
No chemistry
Sudden out-of-the-blue romance
What was the message again?
What did the drama try to tell us?

I wasted my precious time. I suggest you don't waste yours, unless you consider your time to be precious. Honesty, I decided to watch this drama, despite the low ratings on MDL simply because of the star cast and I am a big fan of GOT7 and Jb and Jr are in this show. The first episode and the second episode were funny. I did laugh a lot in the first two episodes. But then the series started going downhill.

Short but Direct

What I LIKE most about this show is that all the moments are important moments. I would rather have a short BL series with important, impactful scenes and storyline than a long BL series with a lot of unnecessary side story. The storyline is quite unique for a BL series, The actors were pretty good in acting and I like that there were no cliché moments used, it was so real and relatable.

What I DONT LIKE about this series is that I wanted more romantic moments from them but I understand as I feel it’s one of the first BL series in Korea.

Overall this is a very good BL Series, would highly recommend it!

So, let's talk about this. The drama that I'll put as the worst drama made with my oppa Seo In Guk, and I'm not happy to say this. Yes, I was very excited, but this ended after episode 10-ish, and you gonna know why. I won't give spoilers, but I will talk about some things that happened in the first episodes.

The thing about historical dramas for me is that I always look out about the king or queen in question to know about their real life and if the story would be a happy ending, and in most cases, this doesn't happen because -of course- is real life. I started this drama very excited with the possibilities of Gwang Hae and what would happen with him (I shared this before), but the main problem here is the base of the plot: the physiognomy thing.

I searched about it to know if this was so important at the time, but I didn't find anything strongly embased, so probably was a technique that could be used by some people, but for sure doesn't was so strong and determinant to the kingdom like they put here. The idea was a bit cool at the first size, but with the process, it was just too childish.

The most terrible thing to me was the construction of the villain (I won't give any names). I understood the idea that he defended at the beginning and I thought that they could develop a big reason behind this to make him the worse, but what happened was just a complete change of the character. It was like there was one character in the beginning, and then he was killed and replace by another person who had a completely different personality. I couldn't bear it, but his cruelty was worth the award of one of the worst villains that I watched and the one who I wanted to kill the most.

Another award to this drama is one of the saddest story ever. I was perplexed with the hate of King Seonjo with Gwang Hae and I cried many times in the scenes when this hate was evidenced with attitudes. Gwan Hae was the most loyal subject and the ambition of the king stopped him of see that. The love story between Gwang Hae and Ga Hee was the other face of tragedy. Really, I'm just like Ga Hee and now I don't have words (get the little joke?) to say how cursed these two were.

I could say more, but I'll stop here. This drama isn't garbage, the story catches you sometimes, but it is far away from being an amazing production. The acting of Seo In Guk it's clearly immature here (writing this with tears), but this makes me very happy when I see the great actor that he becomes.

I will put this as an "I'm not so regretful" (★ ★ ★ ★ ★) and let you make your own choice. If you wanna know some details or spoilers, send me a message and I'll be glad to respond to it.

See you soon!
XOXO, Mari.

I really liked the show

This isn't going to be a long review but anyone thinking of watching it do it! I really liked the drama. I found it really interesting bcuz you could see how Jiwoo was fighting everyday and giving her upmost all to get to her goal. While doing that she kinda loses herself and like she says is ready to do anything and everything. I really like how there were people who helped her grow and open up:) What really surprised me though is the ending as someone who was watched countless dramas, I'm aware that there aren't many non happy rainbow and sunshine endings, so the ending caught me a little off guard (very). I really look forward to the continuation of the show . If there is one cuz to me the ending was kinda satisfying, like I said there aren't a lot of non atleast a little happy endings in dramas so i thought it was very refreshing and im a sucker for sad stuff:)

Uniquely satisfying Fantasy Chinese drama with a huge twist (a twist which I won’t reveal)

Costume & Period, Romance, Time Travel Fusion, Gaming Drama

Unique Lady is about a young lady whose life amounts to only playing video games and studying. She is distraught over her pathetic love life, and gets trapped in a video game about “finding your person” in the Sheng-Yuan Dynasty. She has to cosplay play this video game all the way through, before she can exist. She is surrounded by gorgeous men all over the place, falling in love with her. So I thought that this would be a perfect brainless down-time Chinese Drama, with the emphasis on brainless. However, surprise! Unique Lady actual has an extremely engaging and intelligent storyline, which is well written and acted. I should have known that this drama was not run-of-the-mill when I saw the Chinese actors’ firepower lined up for this drama. To add to this viewing pleasure, Unique Lady also has a Season 2. In the 24 episodes for seasons one and two, there is a fan viewing commitment time of less than 18 hours. The same goes for season 2. Therefore, the Chinese Drama Unique Lady is Korean Drama Fan Friendly.

This Drama is taken from Lascivious Lady by Orange Light Game: Adapted from the novel Haose Qianjin by Qing Lanlan

You will get massive Dual Lead Syndrome with these main suitors. I could not choose.

Actors’ Corner

The heroine of Unique Lady is Lin Lou Jing (Played by Zheng Qiu Hong or Jade from Fairyland Lovers). She has four suitors in this dating video game, all four with totally different personalities. There is a digital System Conductor, which helps guide her through her game choices. Lin Lou Jing has only five attempts at finding Mr. Right and she must find someone whom she loves and who loves her, before she can exist the game.

The main suitors for Lin Lou Jing are Zhong Wu Mei (Played by Gong Jun or Simon from Begin Again) and Liu Xiu Wen/[Prince of Qiyu] (Played by Fang Yilun or Alen, who is dead ringer for Hyun Bin and appeared in The Long Ballard).

Gong Jun has an interesting backstory. His first day at University, his teachers took one look at him and told him he should be in Chinese dramas, because of his look. He was able to change majors and was sent to acting school. And the rest is history.

You can include in the mix of people with whom to fall in love, the Third and Fourth Leads.

Jiang Xuan Yu (Played by Yu Kai Ning from Cute Programer) and Hua Ying Chi (Played by Li Hao from Douluo Continent)

Have fun.

A very cute adaptation

This will be a comparison with the japanese version.
This show is so freaking cute, it was such a comfortable show to watch. This was a very cozy and calm show. There aren't any spicy scene, and there's also no big drama moment or plot twist. So if this type of series isn't for you, I wouldn't recomend it.
I had already watched the japanese version and I liked it very much, but this version is also pretty good. Even though, I would probably say that I might have enjoyed this one a little bit more (not sure about that yet), because the episodes are longer so they were able to not only the develop the characters and their emotions in a better way, in the sense that with the japanese version sometimes they were being overly dramatic and this one was way more calmer when compared, but also add more characters which made it feel more accurate to reality. (I did not read the manga yet, so I don't know if they appear there or not) In the japanese version, and usualy in japanese dramas in general, from what I've watched, it is so main character focuses that they kinda forget that the main characters are not alone in the world and that they actually socialize with other people in the office and in their daily lives, but that might be because of the budget tho. (I don't know if you'll understand what I'm trying to say but I did my best)

Really really beautiful, is what I can comment... seriously like seriously I was never expecting this...This drama actually made my heart flutter like crazy ? Plz those who want to watch this drama..Plz do that. You won't be disappointed...How both sarawat and tine characters portrayed by bright and win..Is totally top notch...The thing is it's not necessary if I like the drama u need to love this...But frankly seeing how people complaining about this drama..The story between the two leads is nothing like how actual couple would be in love...Not have enough good kiss scenes or romance ...Most people complaining about how this story looks like a bromance not like a romance . I certainly can say I don't at all feel like that..Yes, I do agree this couple didn't have many kissing scenes and the two kisses they had also they were just lips touching each other not a actual kiss..But does it matter..And that two scenes were also enough for me, to make me had butterflies in stomach...And I don't know why people complaining about that...Can't u see how their romance blossomed .Tine feeling shy and at the same time being the most happy ; jolly , naive, little silly person..That's the reason sarawat fell in love with him.. And secondly sarawat's cold look?his hot expression..That's it ... That's what made my heart go crazy?like anything...Both these two people's expression throughout the drama made me go crazy...Tine being the stupid, rather u can say being the silly boy..Sarawat couldn't help but fall in love with him more, the deeper their bond gets.. Sarawat's nickname, for tine, "nuisance", "little buffalo"??I can't ...I everytime laugh like mad seeing tine how he do something silly talks something silly like that , sarawat loving him much more... Sarawat's that cold expression u can say sexy expression throughout the drama?..The way he sees tine that expression , that expression that tine matters only tine matters for him???the rest of the world is useless for him..His eyes are always on tine...And tine can't help but admiring him more and falling for him more...Come-on if all of these doesn't make ur heart go crazy then what will do???And the fact that sarawat feel in love with tine the very first time when he saw him..And searched for him everywhere to find that cute happy little boy..And the moment he found that they both study in same clg...He didn't have words to express his joy..And sarawat joined that specific clg, becoz it was that clg where he saw tine for the first time in the concert..So he took admission in that clg...Well all these things are later at the end revealed in the drama..Making me mad crazy how much sarawat loved tine...And tine didn't know all these..But at the end both loving each other deeply?? How can someone tell all these scenes, their sweet conversations didn't made the drama beautiful...Tine's that shining "smile" ..oh my god my heart can't..Tine being the handsome guy but then his smile is the ultimatum for me? And sarawat's oh my god that sexy expression..My heart can't seeing these two...?? Yes , I don't care how there was very much less skin ship between the couple..Like leaving the kiss scenes, but hugging or holding hands these were not there...But one can't deny how beautiful this couple is...Their sweet moments throughout each episode and drama, yes made me a huge fan of sarwat and tine (Bright ❤️ win ) ?? mostly I can't get enough of these two dialogues throughout the series Of sarawat always teasing tine.... Can I grab ur boobs????I simply can't... Sarawat's obsession with Tine's boobs?? Whenever that dialogue came from sarawat...I laugh like mad...And secondly this dialogue; Keep looking at me like that, I will kiss you till you drop??Tine will always blush seeing sarwat frankness...Yes sarwat is a pervert as tine said? These two dialogues are the most said by our sarawat whenever he sees tine? Definitely I'm gonna remember these two epic dialogue's by our sarwat for my lifetime said to tine...I don't know now, whenever if in future I'm gonna watch bright and win's new dramas or projects..These dialogues will always run in my mind if I watch them acting in other dramas, separately or together ??I simply just simply can't forget these dialogues? How much it is fixed in my brain... I remember how watching this drama..And seeing these two I was laughing like mad, So I had to control my laughter...My mom did ask, what's wrong with you? Why u laughing like that ???I had to tell her it's nothing a comedy show I'm watching..? This whole drama I don't know about others but it definitely made me blush like mad..Seeing this couple...I don't know how much bright and win blushed, but definitely I blushed, laughed like crazy pyscho??? And definitely this drama will be forever in my watchlist..I'm gonna re-watch it again...I'm not thinking of writing a seperate review on season 2 of this 2gether couple..But if u watching this and liked it, definitely u need to watch the season 2 though it's 5 episodes only...But that too is a different setting how the couple completed 1 year together, staying together, how much they love each other.Problems faced ..So definitely a much worth it drama..And I definitely after watching this drama even seeing them in season 2 ,I want as many seasons I can get ..Maybe if crazy fans like me, get 10 sesaons that won't be enough for us?that much I miss this couple...plz makers if u ever have a plan of making season 3 plz do that of atleast 20-30 episodes... Because simply I can't get enough of these two beautiful , precious boys ..My boys ?❤️❤️? And even if not season 2 ..If a new story, a new bl drama with these two , these two being the main leads , definitely definitely it will be a a huge gift for us fans...Well just hoping...?? Definitely one should watch this drama..If u are a fan like me, obsessed with sweet, cute romance... Becoz this drama makes u feel like that...With heart fluttering romance . And the side characters the other couples definitely they did spice up the show, with thier cute couple moments... Definitely this drama is a go for it??❤️??

Just my opinion

Overall i really like this drama,, only a bit unclear with Bong Seok and Hee Soo couple ending,, they story like sudden "silent separation" after all times they together,, after all main heroes got their happy ending on their story, why Bong-Hee couple not get it?
But i hope on season 2 later there are story line that will bring happy ending to Bong-Hee coulple, since there are spoilers in end credits about this story are still long run until all problems gone with other characters on next chapters.. fighting Bong-Hee couple ?

STORY: The story itself is very interesting as it raises your interest to watch until the end. Personally, I had doubts at the beginning as I only decided to add this drama on my watchlist because of Seo Kang Joon who plays the male lead role. Fortunately, the drama surprised me in many ways so that I can only be happy that I convinced myself to give it a try.

ACTING/CAST: As I said before, Seo Kang Joon was the main reason for me choosing this drama and I've not been disappointed at all. He is a very good actor and he pretty much proves it by portraying two characters that are totally different from each other at the same time.

*To be honest, I liked the cast in general. I think all the actors played their part very well and the distribution was very carefully done. Also the Seo Kang Joon and Gong Seung Yeon ship had a lot of chemistry and looked amazing on screen.

MUSIC: I genuinly liked the OSTs of this drama. I think they were perfectly selected according to the storyline and the scenes they were played on. And the fact that Seo Kang Joon sings himself one of the OSTs is a bonus.

REWATCH VALUE: Totally worth rewatching it. If I had the chance to watch it again, I would really love to.

OVERALL: "Are you human too?" is a 100% worth watching drama. It just gives good vibes. It's the kind of drama you would enjoy watching on a spring day at noon when the sun throws its rays through the window and the atmosphere requires a hot tea and a good drama.

The webdrama A-TEEN was Kim Donghee's first acting project and I've adored him ever since I saw the second season of it. When I saw the announcement of him starring in this Netflix drama a year ago, I got really excited and told myself I'd wait for it. And so I did, and it took so long for it to come out. But it did!!

This drama is far away from being perfect, but it was absolutely worth the wait and watch. It's cleverly written with a lot of detail and has relatively believable characters and teens, at least in relation to the situations in the drama. I liked the leads together, they had chemistry and helped each other out, even if it was for the business.

! HEAVY SPOILERS COMING UP !

I very much enjoyed the theme itself - sex trafficking, prostitution of minors - even if it wasn't portrayed in the heaviest manner ever, which some people complained about. I coulnd't have seen that coming by seeing the trailer and the plot summary.
It's clear that it's a heavy, difficult subject, even without the leads or anyone saying it explicitly. It's obvious when you see the drama. The plot revolving around that business kept me on the edge of my seat and was just entertaining and new.

Practically every decision and character arc led up to the climax and the ending. This is where I get most critical of the drama though, because by focusing on the whole Psycho man drama, the Police woman and Seo Minhee as well as Mr. Lee, there was little room for our leads to work and decide together and their relationship and the characters together couldn't evolve properly. That's why Jisoo's final breakdown over Seo Minhee having recorded that Bae Gyuri was involved didn't feel entirely logical to me, even if I get it for the most part. In general, not everything this drama and the writers decided to do was smart, I don't find Kitae stabbing Jisoo too convincing or justified, some things were also predictable, like when Minhee fell down the stairs.

For me, the ending isn't disappointing - it would be actually insane if they really left it that. Just like THAT. It really made me think, and the last shots of the drama were creepy as hell. Everything left me speechless. I wouldn't mind a second season, I just don't know what it should revolve around.

! SPOILERS OVER !

Even if it has some flaws, I still love the drama for what it is,: a pretty dark rollercoaster story with eery symbolism and quirks thrown in. ( ?SPOILER? I really enjoyed Jisoos horrifying dreams, I don't get the thing with the hermit crab though)

Recommending this one big time, if you want to see a heavy, fresh teen drama that isn't.. perfect.

Exciting series! Got me interested in Thai BLs again.

This is my first review on this website since 2021. After the release of shows like ATOATS, ITSAY, and KinnPorsche, the bar for Thai BLs was set so high that I no longer felt satisfied in watching most of them. However, Only Friends has become one of the few series to capture my attention and get me back on track to obsessing over BLs. In a time of countless fluffy lovely dovey BLs, this show sticks out for the hot mess that it is. It is drama-filled but remains very realistic. Despite that, its ending remains its biggest flaw as it felt like there was something missing. I'm just hoping it means there's a season 2.

It showcases three different couples, each representing common issues and complexities that come in relationships, even more so in gay relationships. Mew & Top: Infidelity and the ability to trust again; Ray & Sand : Second best and a partner struggling with addiction; Boston & Nick: FWB and unrequited love between an easily attached pick me and a douchebag that's not interested in commitment.

MewTop are basically the main couple of this show. Mew starts off as a boring but very relatable character. The complete 180 in his personality was probably one of the best highlights of the show. My mind always goes back to that scene in episode 6 where Mew confronts Top, which just left me gagged. Although I was rooting for Mew to NOT get back with Top, the way their relationship carries on accurately represents the reality of how unfaithfulness is usually dealt with - a second chance and the hesitancy to trust again. To be honest, they got really boring towards the last few episodes.

RaySand were honestly the stars of the show. Sand was such a sweet character and so loveable. Ray was messed up but you couldn't help but root for him. Loved their story. Just wished they took out the part with Boeing because that was unnecessary. They had gone through more than enough.

Boston & Nick really added more spice to the show. Their plot becomes a bit uninteresting during the second half but I'm glad Nick realised in the end that he deserved better.

Acting:
This show sticks out not just for its plot, but for having some the best acting I have seen in BL history.

Book was excellent in this series. I get chills watching his acting in episode 6 & 7. Also, the chemistry between Book & Force has improved ten-fold from A Boss and a Babe. I think these roles suit them a lot more. Force's acting still feels a little stiff.

More importantly, First & Khaotung gave us a performance of a lifetime. I am not kidding when I say that Khaotung should win an Emmy for his performance in Episode 10. I have teared up every single time at the last scene. First did amazing too and the chemistry he has with Khaotung is one of the best I've seen in BL history.

Neo and Mark did a really good job as well, especially in the steamy scenes. It is very difficult for me to erase Neo's comedic image but I think this series really helped me in taking him more seriously. Mark did a great job in conveying how his character felt and he seems to fit BL roles a lot better than I thought.

Quiet, low-key perfection

I loathe & shun supernatural/fantasy & have a visceral (ha!) aversion to graphic violence, so finding Dramas that hit my sweet spot is tough. MLN was outside my usual fare, but it was intelligent, thoughtful, grounded and stayed true to itself. Matter-of-factly downbeat, It didn't glorify misery or pain as artistic or 'worthy', but more important, it nailed the landing by not tacking on a jarring fairytale happy ending.
In fact, because the Drama stayed so true to itself, the ending could be seen as far from happy, but it was tonally perfect for the Drama. "5 minutes a day" summed it up, and while I wouldn't rewatch it, I'm glad I strayed from my usual fare and savoured this delight.

this drama really is really amazing as an action/revenge one
all were amazing in his role
i liked it so much, sure became one of my favourite dramas ^_^

although i like hye sung but i saw him a little weak in his acting
specially the shot he was stabbed in

and what about won young stupid cravat
every time i saw it he gives me the feeling that he was in rush while he was dressing up LOL

and i wasn't satisfied about the end totally

*till the end they didn't explain why they killed (min jung)
and what's her role in all these suspicious insurance documents??

*all those crimes and killing and each one of villain characters
took between 5-7 yrs in prison only, even when they were responsible about 67 one killed at the plane crashing COME ON .. REALLY -_-

*how come (jung jin) didn't go to prison after killing one and stabbing other and trying to kill 2,
one of them three times ??

all these judgments wasn't fair at all for me

and all( mad dog) group they gave (hye sung) the excuse , forgive and consoled him for what his father did
but at the same time they judged (do hwan) badly for the same crime
this was extremely unfair they all torture him at the beginning
although he wasn't responsible about his brother's crime even if he committed suicide as they said

and the romance was very slight although it was cute but it was very cold at the same time

in-spite of all these points i really enjoyed this show and highly recommended

i do not know why i didn't like it
at the beginning it was nice, heartwarming & cute
then it turned to be vapid & the plot became weak
i hated the character of kim jae so at the drama it was silly
if the drama was just 12 ep i think it 'll be much better cause it turned to be monotonous
