The Criminal Suspense has changed into Love Romance drama!

I have to give 1 star, but not for drama, for my review so it can be posted.

As soon as the Medical Examiner Dr Qin’s the mind reader has been broadcasted, the audience who loved criminal suspense drama were very exited to watch it, but then they became very disappointed after watching 8 episodes. They felt that they’ve been cheated by the producer of the drama, they didn’t get what they expected.
The emotional scenes occupied more spaces than the suspense scenes and most of the scenes are illogical.

Qin Ming, played by Zhang Yao’s setting is a high-IQ forensic doctor, a new graduated student. He is not familiar with the world and does things in a straight-forward manner, which is a very test of acting skills.
As a new forensic doctor graduated student, Qin Ming seems to be on the hook, and he can actually tell when the thief falls down with the naked eye. After the thief fell down to the ground, he directly went up to the operation with a pen and alcohol, ignoring the risk of postoperative infection. Qin Ming, a new forensic doctor graduated student became a magic doctor in seconds. Not only is the story old-fashioned, but this exaggerated theatrical treatment is a bit outdated today.
Qin Ming claimed to be obsessed with cleanliness, he had to wipe his hands with a wet wipe when shaking hands. But, he touched the skin of Lin Tao when he took Lin Tao’s hand off his shoulder during dinner. He didn’t use a wet wipe and didn’t even go washing his hands. When Qing Ming was drowned, An Ran gave Qing Min emergency first-aid mouth-to-mouth. After Qing Min woke up, he knew his mouth touching An Ran’s mouth, the two warmed up at night because of the mouth-to-mouth respiration. An Ran dug a spoon of ice cream for Qing Min with the spoon she had eaten ice cream, Qing Min who was obsessed with cleanliness eating the ice cream in that spoon. An Ran was stunned after Qin Ming ate the ice cream she gave to him because; An Ran ate that spoon, and Qing Min actually ate her spoon!

Lin Tao, a policeman played by Peng Chuyue had to stand still shouting at Qing Min instead of going after the thief who stole the mobile phone. Lin Tao took action only after Qin Ming stabbed him down, and he didn't look anxious at all, and he seemed to be joking when he questioned Qin Ming. He’s joking, he’s spitting and he’s confusing all the times. Lin Tao, not only did not reflect the qualities of a professional criminal policeman should have, but also infinitely magnified the shortcomings of Lin Tao's characters. And the whole police station seems to run in private by the Lin Tao’s big family.

An Ran, played by Tang Min, a graduated forensic doctor should be intelligent, but she acted like a brainless young girl. She knocked on the door in pajamas and brushed her teeth to wake up Qin Ming. She entered Qin Ming’s room without consent and she was stunned after seeing his fruit? She went to investigate the crime scenes alone at night without using her phone to call anyone to know. Although she was out of danger, she made a big mistake by investigating the criminal case alone at night. Director Chen did not punish for her mistake because Qing Min took all the blames defending her action. Director Chen even gave Qin Ming face and praised the two, telling them to have a love romance half day off. When the two returned home, An Ran’s mother was worried, and the whole family was anxious. Qin Ming became the scapegoat again, a contain of water for An Ran’s disaster relief was poured on the Qin Ming’s face.
An Ran’s family held a thank-you ceremony to thank Qin Ming for saving An Ran. An Ran’s father and Qin Ming became brothers and had to drink a bowl of wine together. Qin Ming was reluctantly given a sip to Lin Tao, but he still drunk falling down from up stairs. An Ran carried Qin Ming’s body who had a plaster cast on his foot, suddenly she looked at her watch worrying about the urgency of her task, ignored completely about her priority task carrying Qin Ming in her arm, let go Qing Min falling down from the stairs again. If Qing Min was an 80 years old patient, he could have his bones broken or die from falling the stairs. An Ran did not rush to pick him up, just stunned looking at Qing Min and the two looked at each other in their eyes from distance. An Ran said more than once that their town was "a small place”, but look at the the police station, the building is quite big. A big house, big room, big yard, big family many aunts, uncles, cousins and cousines sitting together in a big dinning table and everyone in the big family speaks Chinese with a different accent because actors and actresses came from a different region. Luo Qi, a fashion witch said that she participated in Fashion Week in Longfan City and she should have stayed at the Longfan luxury Hotel. It can be seen that Longfan City is a relatively backward township, but it can host a large-scale fashion activities such as a Fashion Week.
An Ran spoke out that she respected Qin Ming and believed everything of Qin Ming. But when she saw the electric shock box in Qin Ming's room, she didn’t ask Qin Ming for the reason why did he have the electric shock in his room, but turned around and reported Qin Ming. The problem is that An Ran, an intelligent forensic doctor acted so brainless all the times, no responsibility and belief in wearing a police badge.

Medical Examiner Dr Qin: the Mind Reader solved the support crime cases in 26 episodes, but solved the main case of Qin Ming’s mother murder case only in 2 episodes. Four forensic doctors and two policemen are in love in the police station during the crime suspense investigation. The love cases solved faster than the criminal cases and needed the love cases to solve the criminal cases. The horse ridings, the bike ridings, and some emotional scenes are likely the TVB Hong Kong styles, the British styles. The soundtracks of 2 emotional theme songs: Hate and love « Between » and Love You, love you, love you « Time Answers » the lyrics are mixing in Chinese and English languages really got nothing to do with the crime suspense investigation drama at all. The crime suspense soundtracks should be the suspense background music such as synthesizers and strings action instrumental intense, nightmare or panic music background instruments!
Some crimes scenes are not detailed enough. The real murderer was the boss of Chef Zhang’s family. After the criminal investigation was over, Qin Ming became a normal person and at the end, he officially announced his love relationship with An Ran, as the audience who complained that criminal suspense has changed into love romance drama.

The presentation of surrogacy, mistresses, love PUA, workplace bullying, father, mother, children, son, daughter, internet violence, the electric shock etc…and the supporting roles are average. However, such a story that will inevitably attract attention is buried by the protracted plot and overly lengthy emotional lines.

This new modern Qin Ming’s mind reader mosaic pictures in ancient arts played back to the ancient times where forensic doctors can wear the police uniforms and investigated crime as policemen, but they appeared in the modern times. In modern times today, forensic doctors can’t wear the police uniforms and can’t investigate crime as policemen anymore, the forensic chemists, forensic pathologists or forensic doctors don’t do detective work in the field and detectives don’t spend time in the laboratory examining evidence, these are two separate arms of law enforcement.

This new modern Chinese Medical Examiner Dr. Qin: The Mind Reader ressembles to the British movie’s Sherlock Holmes: The Hound of the Baskervilles in the 19th century. Except Holmes and Watson were mature, independent and they had no love romance relationship. They travelled by train together from London to the Baskervilles to investigate a mystery murder of Dr. James Mortimer’s friend. Detective Sherlock Holmes and Dr. John Watson focused only their duties. Watson to collect the evidences causing the death and technical analysis in laboratory. Holmes to investigate the mystery murder in the field. Their professional detective and doctor’s duties became the world famous of mystery murder criminal investigation which translated into many languages included the Chinese language. It’s possible that Qin Ming’s mind reader copied some ideas from the Hound of the Baskervilles?

In conclusion:
The 4 main lead young actors and young actresses played the roles pretending so hard from new graduated students to become magic professionals in seconds that make illogical. Chinese graduated doctors still need to be trained by professional before going to work by their owns and they can’t wear the police uniforms, do detective and the police works in the fields.
Producer, director and screenwriter got to know, making drama is like making food.
Making drama, you got to tell the truth to the audience, what kind of genre the drama you’re making, what extra scenes you’re adding, write clearly the genre of your drama. You got to be awarded of the audience who dislike love romance in the plot of criminal suspense drama. Director Shi Lei in his interview promised to respect the audience, but he didn’t.
Making food, you got to tell the truth of your ingredients you’re putting in your food, write clearly the ingredients on your labels before advertising and selling to the consumer. You got to be awarded of the consumer with food allergies.
The producer of Medical Examiner Qin Ming’s Mind Reader should be fined by China’s SAMR for at least RMB 7.22 million (US$1.08 million) for false making the genre of drama, false advertising and violating advertising Chinese’s laws: Criminal Suspense has changed into Love Romance drama. And the disappointed audience need their money back from Youku Suspense.

Show's a healthy relationship but a laking storytelling

I loved the beginning. Especially the way Sung Deok-mi's job as a curator was presented. The characters and the way how the main leads came closer were also well written. But at some point the storyline lost its charm and all the casual plots were told about the coincidence finding a lost child and how the main leads realized they knew each other since childhood. It's nothing new and it's predicable. Because of this, the series was not emotionally touching. I stopped watching it at episode 12 and needed to motivate me to finish it. Nevertheless, I loved the way how healthy their relationship was and how kind they treated each other. It is a good counterbalance towards the toxic way of romance some series are presenting.

1000 years love story

My first ever review... So here goes.
I'm gonna keep it short and sweet.

What I loved about this series :
The actors that they choose for the parts did it well. Except Somchai and his hand clapping, he was somewhat irritating.
I believe character Yoh is new to acting, I must say he did well. Yes some parts he was a bit stiff, but overall he did a good job.
Maybe could have shown some more affection towards Pun. I mean this guy has loved you for a 1000 years.

What I didn't love about this series.:
The ending... It's sad. In a way.

SPOILER :
I might have missed this in the story, but why could Pun not turn Yoh into a vampire?
He is not a normal vampire and has vampire blood in him, sun does nothing, garlic and holy water neither.
So maybe what we know abt biting and letting the human die as in other vampire movies doesn't work here.. Sad.

Then the ending... Isn't Pun also dying according to his brother they have like 20 more years?
So then how is he meeting Yoh again in his next life?
Did I miss this part?

I'm actually hoping for a second series ?

It was actually a good drama......

It was actually a good drama. There were some frustrating moments but still it was good.

I loved how our ml is a green flag, he is so patient with everything, he trusts and doesn't misunderstand!!

The relationship between leads was really non toxic and till the end they were so good to each other.

Second leads character was not so impressive in this drama but the actor who played it did a very good job. I want to see him in a main role.

I read negative reviews before watching the drama that's why I digested the frustration i felt sometimes. So just ignore some things and you will enjoy the drama.

Overall 9/10 ?

Gwanhee's Inferno but still good

This is my favorite season, only because of one female: Hyeseon. She stood out to me since Day 1.

All the girls were beauty pageants, minus one, and it shows. There was a female, Hajeong, who had most of the spotlight initially, coming off as playful and unloyal, but I learned to love her the more we saw of her. Hyeseon remained friendly, bubbly, and was the most mature out of all the seasons. We need more ladies like her to get some personality and substance in this show rather than superficiality! Every girl this season was pretty different from one another though, which was good.

The guys are your usual. You got the super strong ones, the puppy boyfriends, the quiet introverts, and then you got Gwanhee. I don't get the hype with him. I think every girl initially liked him cause he was so tall, but really, he's the only one who you see talks the most, and has the most interesting character. He's the only one who actually has interesting things to say. The producers barely showed anyone else too.

Aside from the typical pairings that you see from previous seasons, with the same games, this was the first time so many girls liked one guy in a season. It felt like the whole show was centered around this arc. It was boring seeing this cocky guy who doesn't deserve all this attention, get so much attention, but the ending made it worth it. The ending episode was probably my favorite episode. I wish we get more group sessions or heart to heart scenes.

This was the first season of Single's Inferno with some genuine romance to it. I hope they have a better selection of male contestants next season! That way, they can all equally get some spotlight, because it was very skewed this season.

Feminist Claptrap

This is the 2nd worst k drama I have seen thus far. It was so bad I almost stopped watching it several times but I soldiered on to the end. The main problem lies in its feminist ideology. It proposes that marriage is the death of love and that getting a divorce is the way to true love. As a result, the main love story is nonsensical and unbelievable. I don't know who the original writer/author/etc. is, but I would bet anything that it is a feminist. Feminist tropes permeate throughout making it almost unwatchable.

As a result all, and I mean ALL, of the men are shown in a negative light. You will not find a single positive male role in this drama. From socially awkward to emotionally immature to the oh so predictable rapist. Of course all, and I mean ALL, of the women are flawless.

Skip this drama unless you hate men and/or traditional Korean culture.

Lawful Manners of Deadly Attraction

This title was supposed to be a (poor) homage to Manner of Death aka one of my favorite crime Bls to this day.

Laws of Attraction was all over my dashboard and timeline for MONTHS, so I did have quite some expectations. I was hoping that this could be the Manner of Death of 2023. The premise was very interesting and I did enjoy the first episode. Though, the show didn't manage to keep up my interest throughout the other seven episodes. I'm not entirely sure if I want this show to be longer to flesh out some characters and arcs or if I need this show to fix the pacing and speed things up and use the gained time more efficiently. I'm not super nitpicky about the fight scenes, the VFX/CGI and other stuff, but the budget was noticeable. This show reminded me a lot of Manner of Death, the amount of times they get beat up or chased and almost killed is nearly identical. The acting was also a little over the top or stiff. The main couple was nice in theory but Tinn seemed a bit too good for Charn. Like there was no "okay they are both unhinged, I can see it work". On one hand you have squeaky clean goody-two-shoes big bro and on the other hand you have a corrupt lawyer who has no issue faking evidence and putting innocent people behind bars and burning down houses to get what he wants. I feel like Charn had great potential but was screwed over by the writing and pacing of the show. The side couple managed to steal my heart. What can I say, I am a sucker for the bodyguard trope. Though I gotta admit, that I did struggle with Thaenthai quite a lot in the first few episodes. Specifically his apathy and disregard for other people and their death. But his character arc and storyline was interesting. The execution was fine, nothing groundbreaking or new, but fine. The sapphic couple was a nice addiction though very minor. The scene about marriage equality was brief and a little too on-the-nose, but I liked it nonetheless.

Shu Qi is the reason I started this movie, and finished watching it. She's got three rolls to play and I found watching her acting them to be the best part. This movie reminds me of those crazy late 80s and early 90s films. With awkward cinematography and so many story ideas that it just can't piece it together. The idea was interesting, just not executed well.

I will say one thing for sure I laughed my booty off. The horrible man poses, King (Ekin Cheng, who I adore) wears this white jacket, but there's nothing underneath! Wardrobe . . . lost? This is probably worth a peek just so you can laugh, and use some of the horrible lines.

Eleven (AKA : Shu Qi): What is sexual relation?
King: I love you, you love me and we kiss, and we do that.
Eleven: I love you, do you love me?
King: *nods*
Eleven: I want sexual relation.
King: Good. Lie Down.
Eleven: *lies back*
King: Coming

To be honest this is not where I would start for first time "drama" viewers. Try 200 Pound Beauty. Also, I almost stopped within the first commercial break, but I held out until the first horrible posses . . . and laughed the night away.

exciting

This show was so addicting

At first I was very skeptical especially from what I heard about the actors. The first episode was so good and convinced me to keep watching. And I have to say, I’m not disappointed. The chemistry was so good! Everytime Kang and Sailom made eye contact while telling each other how the love and care about each other I was melting. I’m also very happy with the ending. It’s kind of getting annoying to always get new highschool-university bl’s but I’m still convinced that this show is definitely worth watching

Almost same story like YAMD....…????

Story of this drama much like You Are My Destiny. Many things are common. From contract marriage to FL's approaching and caring (because of one sided love) towards ML, misunderstanding between couples to still forgiving(FL) ML, caring FL by ML but in annoying way (ML don't want to show it yo FL), ML's ex-girlfriend's comming back to starting misunderstand between couple about their relationship, leaving FL for good of ML(as the FL thinks so) to find FL and cherish her to win her and a new hero's entry( who love the FL but help ML for the sake of FL's happiness). All are quite same. But with some twitch. Like their contact marriage here is not for baby(baby is in YAMD) but for their work and parents, not a accident meeting. Their meeting is almost a plan of FL ,like etc etc.... But how can the add same zipping FL's cloth like YAMD.... But ML's sister is truly ????funny and along new male's character, turely energetic .....

first of all, stupid plot..not weird..and the thing which is the most important thing here is.. suho's bad acting skills...people don't say that idols lack acting skills for no reason..i'd probably skip all the dramas he'd be casted in..and even the movies..his worse acting just can't be tolerated...nothing really wrong with other people..but this is just a waste of time where you can instead cook for yourself and have a feast..

however this is just kinda my opinion..you guys can check it out if ya like cuz this movie in some way represents the life of a real middle school student..not really..still yo can check it out..by the way..i judged cuz i watched it..
