When push comes to shove we know who Xiaolanhua will choose in the end

This is possibly the first episode that showed the people of heavenly realm that when push comes to shove Xiaolanhua will choose to save DFQC even if it means she will get black listed in Shuyuintian. It was also nice to see DFQC rub it in Changheng's face that XLH chose him.

6.0/10 - Back down again.

This epsidoe took a very unexpected turn. Not in a good way. It reintroduces a character to who sold poison to Orchid. Jie Li . Jie Li . I really don't like her. Even if she got Shang Que to think of Orchid as his Empress for just a moment. This episode was mostly useless hijinks. I was . . . well let down. Orchid now knows about the Heart Curse. Also, because of Jie Li, she fishes for whether Dongfang Qing Cang really cares for her or not. His Love Root is gone. Ripped away with forbidden magic by his father. This makes Orchid happy because Dongfang Qing Cang doesn't hate her, he just indifferent. Or unfeeling in general. She now thinks that she can help him. Apparently she's seeing this snow island with the tree? I didn't expect that. I'm supper surprised how confidant she feels that she can help regrow his love tree. What's more interesting is that Dongfang Qing Cang doesn't say he no to her growing it back? Does he really want to feel again? Not to mention that he's been using the Hell Fire while feeling Orchid's emotions! Wouldn't that mean he should be able to than? Unless it's this convoluted thing about only his emotions mess with it, but I thin k feeling someone else's emotions and controlling it should prove total mastery. It also makes me wonder if Dongfang Qing Cang's father wanted to do that to his youngest son and Dongfang Qing Cang wanted to save him from it.Wow! Chang Heng's sudden absolute conviction t go back after Orchid is impressive. A little late, but I guess better late than never. He's decided that playing aloof didn't work. So everyone else be damned. I wonder how Chang Heng will react knowing that he's a person that will be betrayed by Rong Hao. He even said he knows Rong Hao will do anything to get his Master back. Wow, that's an understanding. Good plot setups, but honestly I wish Jie Li stayed away!

8.0/10 - Wowza! Couldn't look away!

Even better!!!!! Dongfang Qing Cang, in Orchid's body, bit Chang Heng!!!! >_< I literally had to pause the episode cause I was laughing so hard I couldn't get air! Then later to kiss Orchid after the body swap like that! I love her reaction, but I think his motivations are very muddy.Oh, and Rong Hao! The man is driving me crazy. When he showed up to help Chang Heng fight I cheered! Even though he's the reason Chang Heng was injured. Then he gives part of his life to help him. You can tell he cares so much! I honestly thought I saw guilt and regret. Was he lying to his subordinate, Die Yi, that he only helped Chang Heng because he needs him for his plans? If that's true it's chilling, but I don't think it is. Rong Hao wants to help his master at all costs, but he's a good man and it's tearing him apart. OMG!! I was right! Shang Que knew the whole time! Not only that, but Orchid was right. Shang Que thinks of Dongfang Qing Cang like brother. It breaks my heart to know that Dongfang Qing Cang has been betrayed so much that he only thinks the worst of others. I wonder what he thought when Orchid was given away out and it seemed like she might take it. Kill the Orchid body, killing Dongfang Qing Cang. Then she can leave his and go into a new one grown from her root/grass?! Then for her to save him? Hmmmm. Forbidden romance at it's finest!I feel bad for Chang Heng! Not only did he lose royally, have to see Orchid getting kissed, and then face the wrath of his brother. Getting his powers sealed!!!This episode ends on it's finest note though. When Dongfang Qing Cang takes off the ring so that he can experience Orchid's happiness at the banquet. The look on his face as he smiles behind that tree!(Random thought: It's giving me whiplash where this drama takes a huge step back and annoys me, and then BOOM! has an amazing episode like this.)

6.0/10 - There's a lot of annoying, but by gosh there's a lot of awesome bits being tossed in.

There is something I haven't addressed about the body swapping. The power swap. I love that instead of taking their powers into the others body, the powers stay with said body. Orchid doesn't know how to use and harness Dongfang Qing Cang powers. Which makes me wonder if Dongfang Qing Cang, smug jerk, can't use Orchid's powers? That said it still annoys me that Orchid is so weak when she should have the physical strength of Dongfang Qing Cang now! Dongfang Qing Cang clearly only has Orchid's strength as Shang Que man handled him in Orchid's body.Dan Yin has really turned into a surprisingly amazing character. AND secretly I'd like Dan Yin and Shang Que to be an item. How cool would that be?! Fantasies aside, I love how loyal she is to Orchid now. Even though she still hates that Orchid might marry Chang Heng. Also, she has figured out who Orchid truly is. She shouldn't listen to her dad!!!! Also, another cool scene! She actually gets to pretend to be Chang Heng and talk to her dad!Painful to watch some of the body swaps. Orchid is sooooooo annoying! She's practically begging everyone to know she's in Dongfang Qing Cang's body. I'm 200% sure Shang Que already knows! I hate how the writers have made her annoying now and stupid! (Though huge round of applause to actor Dylan Wang, I believe Orchid is in there! Though the body swap has made her stupid and annoying.) Seriously, why does the female lead always have to suffer to make the stupid shenanigans work? I think they could have played it differently. She swapped in anger, but acts smartly. Trying to keep them both alive.Yeah, younger brother Dongfang Xun Fen figured it out. Record time. Record time he devised a plan of death! Vengeance! I truly think there's more to the father killing than the little bro knows. Rong Hao is turning into a seriously intrigueing character. Wow! I feel conflicted. He's doing such evil things, but I think he cares. A lot. So it makes him a very conflicted character. Now he's hurt his best friend, Chang Heng! I think he regrets that it happens, but wow!LOL! That cliffhanger! Chang Heng is going to caress Dongfang Qing Cang's face in Orchid's body? Huh, is he gonna get slapped?!

Five Stars

The chemistry both characters show (Puen and Talay) is just so beautifully portrayed, making you want to keep watching the series over and over again. The episode was full of joy and sad moments as well. Very well executed.

Most unexpected thing ever [slight spoiler]

The plot twist was literally amazing, i m usually good with predicting even unexpected stuff but this, i dunno if it's just me, but it didn't cross my mind especially in the latest episodes. I really like it tho it makes the story even more interesting.i m really curious how it s gonna progress in the next and final ep, i have my own theories with the help of the trailer of course but i m not revealing them here now because i m lazy. Also this episode made me cry which i never expected, cause tbh i personally thought and still think jimmy still has a way to go to improve his acting just like anyone else, i understand him he s a doctor he s busy and he s new in the industry, but usually in emotional scenes his acting fails to convince me but this time i dunno if he outdid himself or it's the script but the parents scene actually made me cry i was sad i really felt the separation pain coming from Puen, how he can't tell them the truth and will never get the chance to meet them again, also the scene with Dol it was really sad it made me cry. Finally the scene with Friends Credits, it broke me just thinking about how they'll never get to meet again because this is not just traveling a country it's literally a universe. That scene also raised my concern for how Puen Talay Tess Tun are gonna progress with their lives and how will they readapt. Honestly since the beginning of the series i was wishing one of them makes a journal telling what happened every day so when they travel back it s not confusing and they know what they did for them but sadly it didnt happen

Almost perfect

Almost perfect but God, please, cut down the product placement: the chocolate cookies, the toothpaste... I know the scenes were hot and cute and all, but the cringe of the advertisement distracted me

The episode was basically these two idiots trying to beat some kind of record for the longest date ever! They are dating while talking about they've never have a date and know nothing about love, all to try to dolve Puen's fuck up in trying to adjust to his new life as Tun...This series is so damn good!I loved every single second of this episode!

Rushed ending

This ending felt so rushed. They killed off the wife, they killed off the bad guy after allowing him to win in court. What was the point of anything? The entire drama they build up Park Changho to be this super clever guy. Big Mouse chose him as his successor because he recognized his ability. He said he's the only man who could match him... all of this build up about his intelligence and none of it was used in the resolution of the problem. He just straight up killed the bad guy and that's it. It seems to me like the writers really wanted to make a bad ass super clever main character, but their own intelligence was not enough to come up with realistic scenarios in which to show off his intelligence. At no point did he exhibit any clever trick. At no point did he exhibit this supposedly high intelligence. Nah, he lost and then straight up murdered the guy. Such an anti-climatic ending. I will admit, there is one thing about the ending I like. It's not a happy go lucky ending. Not everyone from the good guys survived. Not everyone had a happy ending. And most importantly, the main character won with murder... I still think is wrong for the aforementioned reasons, mainly because he was built up as a super capable and intelligent guy but won in such a boring way. But at least it's refreshing. The drama is not making the good guys always win. It was a nice change. I'd like to see more main characters with questionable morals. I'd like to see a kdrama where I can root for the bad guy and actually see the bad guy win. This was a step in the right direction... the good guy won through murder instead of the law. But it was executed poorly and boringly... and in the end, they tried to justify his murder and tried to still keep his image of a good guy. Go all out for once and let the bad guy win, please.

Horrendous ending

Rushed is the best way to describe this ending. It's like they thought they were going to get a second season and upon realizing they would not had to shove it all into one 10 minute montage. I really wanted to cry this episode but every moment that was supposed to be sad ended up feeling rushed and disappointing. Such a terrible ending to an otherwise great show.

Such a great Binge!

So, this is my first review. I accidentally clicked the button and decided to give it a whirl. Sorry it turned out so long. Synopsis of my review: The chemistry between Yang Yang and Dilraba is the main draw. The story is secondary but not bad: At first, I LOVED the story, then I only liked it as the middle dragged and I had to skip a bunch of stuff about Chinese space exploration, then I LOVED it again near the end as the relationship took front and center again, and finally, MEH at the end. Full Review: What did I love? The ML and FL! They had such great chemistry. Yang Yang is always sexy and handsome, but his face has been like a stone in every show I've seen him in. It fits in Lost Tomb and maybe in Love O2O and Kings Avatar (which I never did finish), but it is also a bit boring. This time, his stern expression would soften as he struggled with his emotions. I felt that clench in my gut when he looked at Dilraba wistfully, and I felt his pain as he realized how stupid he had been. Now, I may actually go back and watch some of his other shows to see if I am missing out. Dilraba is always beautiful. I watch her occasionally because I love her expressions and overall look. I never finish any of her shows because most of them seem to be either Xanzia or Wuxia and very few of those can keep my attention for long, even when they are well done because they are so melodramatic. But now that I have seen Dilraba and Yang Yang together, I may not be able to watch her in anything else. (just kidding, I'm going to go find some others and see if the chemistry is as good - I didn't feel it for Eternal Love of Dream - which I dropped - but maybe some of the others will be as good). ***Spoiler Alert.***The storyline is another draw. Though these folks are not normal people, they are believable, as are all of the side characters. The story progresses, it started with video gaming and I thought "Oh, he's doing that again." but then it shifted. The game stayed in the background for a long time, but never became front and center again after the first third of the show. The middle was about building the relationship, including making realistic mistakes and trying to make amends. And they didn't shy away from implying sexual attraction, which would have been silly with such beautiful people. Once this couple hooks up, they hook up! Their relationship is complicated, and these complications are glossed over but not ignored. I like that. Oh, but the ending sucked! We have spent 31 episodes and 15.5 hours getting to know this couple and their world, and in the last 30 minutes, we are introduced to a whole new cast of characters, a conflict that is supposed to mirror the main couple's possible conflict, and the Glory of China as they launch into space. I mean, the first person he calls is his best friend after launching the rocket, which I can forgive, but then the main couple just hugs and walk away. No closure, no hint of a future together. We know they are in love, but we don't know if they will progress. I would have loved a sly baby announcement or something to queue me in that this relationship will keep growing even after the curtain falls. Also, the wedding is a disappointment and a bit weird. Really, everything from the wedding on feels like a downhill slide. I feel they could have done more with this. Maybe it could have gone longer, and we could have seen more about their married life. In the end, I may be missing a bit of the point of the show because I literally skipped through EVERYTHING that didn't involve the main couple. SO MUCH aerospace stuff that I skipped and parties or conversations Dilraba had without Yang Yang. Perhaps if I had watched and enjoyed that aspect of the show, this ending would have felt more satisfying. My other complaint is that this show seemed to really center around Yang Yang's character more than being an equal split with Dilraba. Why did we see so much of his aerospace engineering and so little of her acting/movie-making? ***Spoiler Over***I still enjoyed the ride. With all its flaws, the beauty and chemistry of the main (and only) couple were outstanding and enough to keep me watching episode after episode until I couldn't keep my eyes open! Skip the boring stuff, and it is a beautiful relationship story. I almost wished I'd stopped at episode 30 because that would have been a more satisfying ending on the relationship side. But I didn't, and I bet you won't either. The couple is just too engaging to not hungrily watch every moment you can of them together. I hope they make more shows/movies together. The reason for the 9 instead of 9.5 was the ending. The reason for the 9.5 instead of a 10 is because of the parts I had to skip. Thank you, Youtubers, for making clips of this show, so I got curious. I'm so glad I checked it out and hope you will too.

The ending makes no sense

To return to their own universe, the two people who are each other's portkeys were supposed to dream of a location and go to that location. How come Puen returned, but Talay did not? Similarly, Tess and Pakorn seem to be each other's portkeys. How did only Pakorn return? I hope that this will be explained in the subsequent episodes because it does not make sense. Otherwise, aside from the last part, in which the plot development happened, episode ten presented the usual combination of fluff and product placements. I skipped a lot of scenes. The second couple's playful dynamic was interesting to watch, though. Jimmy and Sea's romantic scenes were sweet, but they again failed to handle emotional moments well. Nanon, on the other hand, was brilliant despite having only several minutes of screentime.
