8.0/10 - This was really intense and well written. I feel the feels.

Chang Heng! He was imprisoned that fast!!! How did Immortal Emperor know? Honestly I think it was super shady. Because Rong Hao had just finished asking if Chenag Heng new what he'd do to get his master back. Betrayal was super fast, I feel like Rong Hao had a bigger scheme. Nooooooooooo! They're giving my Black Dragon, Shang Que, to Jie Li! I really loath her. Guess my dreams of Dan Yin and him are not going to ever happen. The thing is the whole scene where Jie Li and Dragon, Shang Que are bonding over both being orphans and talking about how the experiences changed them differently didn't warm me up to Jie Li. Shang Que took all the terribleness and turned it into honesty and goodness. I didn't even feel that bad when Shang Que shares that Dongfang Qing Cang saved him, and Jie Li shares know one has ever saved her. Which is odd, I should feel more compassion, but Jie Li rubs me the wrong way. Because right after she puts Orchid in immediate danger. Bullying her into leaving with her. *eyeroll* Orchid is promptly kidnapped by Rong Hao. Who thought he as going to get Rong Hao, but gets the bigger fish. Which reveals why Rong Hao made sure Chang Heng is imprisoned. What a plan to trick Orchid by pretending to be Chang Heng. Not to mention that he makes up somewhere safe for her to fix the Spirit Book. Dongfang Qing Cang is truly amazing rescuing Orchid. When she asks how he knew which was her and not an illusion and he answers that he would know her anywhere it stung. Because he asks why she suddenly fixes the Spirit Book, and it was because Chang Heng asked her to. Rong Hao exclaimed that he didn't expect Orchid to realize that he was impersonating Chang Heng so fast. The truth is like she told Dongfang Qing Cang, the stand he broke was there. Then she asked a question to trick Rong Hao into confirming things 100%. So I did like that. Progress. This was a pretty intense episode. I liked it and it was HUGE on character development. Especially between Orchid and Dongfang Qing Cang. Orchid says she won't ever leave until he's healed and I think Dongfang Qing Cang realizes that he might be experiencing some of his own emotions. Like fear and worry over Orchid which plays out so intensely. Then to follow it up with this hunter camp made it even more intense. Ending with Dongfang Qing Cang wondering why NOW Orchid doesn't want him knowing what she's thinking. Oh, we know. *grin*

Will drop the series

It's so difficult to watch and fast forward the scenes to avoid watching certain characters in the series. I am not sure how this was casted but at least one lead character was miscast.

Still okay

The story and the pacing is still okay, it's a joy to watch. I am not sure if I'm the only one but the female lead is kind of irritating to watch and listen to. Makes me consider dropping the series because I want to skip her scenes.

Male leads are great

The main plot of the story did not deviate from that of the original Korean version. The male leads are making this a story to watch even if it's a remake only.

Breathtaking

Anotherriveting episode. The pain and thefear is soevident asIn tells his story. The actor capturesall the heartache and theremorse that he has carried for so many years. Wealso get more of the mother and canalready envision what her response isgoing to beat even thethought ofher son being this closeto anotherperson, letalone the man to whom she lost her husband. Bravo! Excellence!

LAR is giving Mu Ze headaches

LAR spends every opportunity to sabotage MZ and his evil plan.MZ is not having a great time after marrying LAR. Xiao JingYue, on the other hand, tries so hard to frame LAR but MZ sees through her trick. Not entirely entertaining but Jing Chao's screen time makes the entire episode worth watching.Without MX's character, I doubt I will continue watching this series.

One of the most beautiful melody played within the BGM

Other review already summed upy thoughts for most aspects in this episode. On the other hand, around minute 32:20 to 32:27, give or take, I heard a little part of melody from the soundtrack that's very familiar. A female Japanese composer made similar one in different note placements for her song, a bit higher in that I think, but the funny thing was, that talks about how ones fell in love from key moments they spent together. What's even more ridiculous, rather than Weoljo and Chief Gwi, I could somehow related the song lyrics more to Yook Sungjae's time with Sooyoung (Red Velvet's Joy) in We Got Married. Yeah, gonna proceed to bruh myself now

That simple?

Totally kawaii...both the characters complement each other so well...one overly popular but hating the attention secretly...the other in the quiet group but of a bright personality that attracts only the one who gets him...can dating be really this simple?

Loving the development so far!

So far, the development of the story is good. Not trying to delay things or lengthen the storyline. Vincenzo aka Song Joong-Ki is doing quite a great work here too. The character Hong Cha-Yeong aka Jeon Yeo-been too. her acting skills are amazing too. Her iconic walk! well...

Four Stars

So far so good. This is the first bl I have ever seen to be a transmigration one. Quite curious about who that black cap man is. why did he do that? Is he just a random person or someone the protagonist knows? I'm very interested in how the story will unfold.

It actually took me a while to finish this…

It actually took me a while to finish this to be honest. I had started it, and then I realized it wasn't like the typical storyline that you see. However, once I came back to it with fresh eyes (so to speak) I ended up realizing how much of the story I liked aside from the BL aspects of it. It's very different from most BLs that I've seen, but this is by far one of my favorites.Believe it or not, I came because of Fluke Gawin Caskey. Even though I know he's not a main in this, but I definitely end up loving the chemistry of Off and Gun. They definitely work so well together as well as the other actors who are in their friend group.

Too many convenient coincidences but still not bad

A list of the jurors' addresses will be conveniently over the judge's table, not inside an envelope, not sealed, just there.A bus taking a life-sentenced prisoner conveniently will not have any armed escort, just the bus driver and two stupid head officers that didn't even manage to contain the referred prisoner at court. The judge finds out that the prisoner got the address of some of the jurors, but conveniently he only texts them about the prisoner's escape. He doesn't call and warn his cop brother and doesn't warn the jurors that have been a breach of their personal information. The prisoner kidnaps one of the jurors at night, but the next thing it's morning and he is surrounded by cops, but he leaves a window conveniently open so that the cop can see inside the house. The cop shoots the kidnapper but conveniently doesn't check for weapons and turns his back to him to check on the victim and, of course, gets stabbed.Only one officer guarding the prisoner (who already escape once before) at the hospital, so conveniently the shady father can't get in without a problem.Usually, I can't roll with these kinds of things, but here it was just too much.Still was a good episode, and the plot overall is pretty compelling and intriguing. Hopefully, they will refrain from repeating the shortcuts excessively, because that can be a signal of a lazy script.

A good start that had me hooked

The first few minutes already showed that this will be a very dark and heavy show. The first ep was interesting enough to get me into the plot and I am looking forward to the unveiling of the mystery.Taec is very good at playing ambiguous characters and I can't wait to see what directions his character will take moving forward.
