Boring

Many times i thought to drop it but i liked the female lead that's why I watched it . Male lead acting was bored instead of him ,second lead was better ,the one who played the role of his cousin .
Concept was good but i think it was not well written . Otherwise direction was good . Watch it at your own risk . Literally it had not charm . I didn't feel sympathy towards male lead's character story . Other co stars acting were good. One more couple i liked who worked in the veterinary hospital and they were little bit aged.

A mini series between parody and absurd.

PLOT: a second-rate actress, FL, is sent into a video game with a classic historical plot. But she bonds with the supposed villain of the Court (the ML), rather than with the 4th prince (OGML). She will face the hazards of the game, court plots, ... while trying to bring her darling back into the real world with her.

The story is totally eccentric, surfing between parody (a long series of clichés from historical dramas) and isekai.
It's relatively well played, we can admire Li Ge Yang's handsomeness.
BUT
- I didn't get hooked on this unexpected/incoherent/absurd plot.
- the characters are inconsistent, as is often the case in mini dramas.

I would like to see Li Ge Yang again in a more developed series, but I do not recommend this drama.

A MASTERPIECE

Honestly this show was amazing. Besides mnet and it's (surprisingly minimal) evil editing this seasoned shined with new and amazing talented dancers. I really appreciated the fact that they added foreign crews to the mix. Bear with me as I say a few things about the judges and the crews.

Judge Monica: I got to know and love Monica through swf1 and I got to say that she is extraordinary. She's an experienced dancer and choreographer and her judging was absolutely on point. I loved how she considered both technical and emotional aspects during judging and most importantly she gave great feedback to help other dancer grow.

Judge Shownu: We all know and love him which is why it saddens me to say that he wasn't fit to be sitting in the judging chair. We all know that he can dance but I believe that his lack of experience and advanced technical knowledge were holding him back. His feedback were mostly nice generalities I believe mostly because he wasn't confident to judge in such a high level. He certainly brought the star quality and I loved seeing him have fun and enjoy the dancers. I could see him as a future MC of the show (in case Daniel steps down which I hope he doesn't because he's amazing).

Guest judges: All of the guest judging brought something unique to the table but I think the one that stood out the most was Mike. I new off him before the show but I really got to explore his personality more and I really appreciated his fun and hype-y but also somewhat technical feedback.

Wolflo: Honestly I'm not really a big fan of hip hop but I've always admired how great hip hop dancer move their body and ride the flow of the song. Although their choreography occasionally lacked in ways they made up for it with their fierce battles. Their maknae really grabbed my attention with her fun but fierce personality.

Tsubakill: Not much to say. Amazing dancers, smart choreographers. They brought something new to the table but unfortunately they came off as somewhat arrogant and I think that was the reason they got eliminated first. I wish we could have seen more off them. My favorite member was Rena(if I remember her name correctly) I really liked her choreography for Twerk and her dance style.

LadyBounce: I didn't find them appealing at first to be honest but as the show progressed they grew on me more and more with each episode. They were really hardworking with witty choreography and great flow. My favorite member was definitely Capri. I just loved her bright attitude.

Deen N Dap: I really found the obnoxious at first and especially their leader Mina but slowly but surely they managed to prove themselves and have fun instead of trying too hard to be tough. I really got to appreciate Mina and her story and she quickly became my favorite among the crew.

1 million: Like everyone I follow and obsess over their choreography on YouTube. They are always smart and trendy with catchy moves but also highly technical. I think they were the best choreographers out of all the groups. My favorite member was def Redy since I've always enjoyed her dancing even before the show.

Mannequeen: I have no words for them. They were always on point. Their battles were jaw-dropping and their choreography was always smart and thought through. Their style is one of my favorites overall. I really like Redlic even before SWF2 but Cera really grabbed my attention within the group. Her battles were literally showstopping.

Jam republic:
I only really knew Kirsten bur I was the most excited for them when they got announced. I always loved Royal Family choreography (duh) and JR certainly didn't disappoint. Audrey was literally a revelation I think. Idk how she can be so powerful yet so tiny. I was mesmerized by her dancing since day 1. I'm excited to see more of her in the future.

Bebe: What can I say. They definitely deserved the victory. Their choreography was always smart and satisfying to watch. Their themes were catchy and their sync was out of this world. Although advertised as Bada and the girls I think that every single member proved themselves in the process. Tatter really grabbed my attention. Her dance lines were totally my cup of tea and she showed resolve and determination.

Overall I'm really excited for maybe another season in the future.

Drama had bad ending not a sad ending .
Acting was good between the leads as well other actors and actresses.

So warm and fuzzy, I died!

It's actually quite slow paced for my liking but surprisingly keeping me entertained with its hearwarming story.

It's tone is mainly warm and fuzzy, with some comedy and touching moment.

It's pretty realistic and not the over-the-top kind of drama.

My only wish is more romance scene between them, although I kinda know this isn't what the show is about (I mean, look at the poster lol)

And, the little boy is a gem, he definitely brightens up the show and is a crucial part of the show. He honestly steals the show in many moments. In fact, there is one scene that really just melts my heart because I am touched by his purity, innocence and sweetness. Sometimes, watching a child makes us remember the simple things in life, like what truly matters is having fun, playing with your family and really just love trumps everything.

It also really teaches us the how COMMUNICATION literally is the key to relationship!

Also, don't get me started at how cute Inukai Atsuhiro is. He looks so different here than in his other show I've watched but cute either way!

It's a simple yet meaningful show about family, romance, and just about LOVE and LIFE!

The great thing about this series is that I started watching it for the BL, but it seem to hv continued watching it for what it truly is.
Its a beautiful and heartfelt story full of laughter and tears.

This series has quickly become a favourite of mine and for good reason. I addicted to its music track & casting.
The OST honestly slaps. It’s sweet and light hearted. And also the acting is perfect. Each character is beautifully portrayed and written. Every single member of the cast is perfect as their character and even out of them.

Despite having low viewing and not much exposure. I hope everyone gives this show a try. The cast and crew deserve that and more.

A great fluufly BL to watch no matter what your mood is

I really like this drama very much, and everything about it. The writing, acting, direction, sound team - everyone did such a great job on this production.
I generally like fluffy BLs very much so, I was very engaged throughout the series. It was always such a pain, to leave an episode and wait for the next 10 hours for the sun to rise again in my world to complete it. As i am someone who prefers watching characters with too much love and too good communication lines, this series was such a treat.
There isnt much drama in this series as one would expect in a BL, i mean, at the very least, there should have been a crazy ex or a housewrecker to act as a catalyst to strengthen the relationship. But this series had none of the usual I-dont-have-much-creativity-so-I-am-gonna-use-some-basic-drama-templates shit that i usually encounter. the characters relied completely on their own communication, feelings and trust they had for each other to build their relationship to the big castle it is at the end.

I especially like kurosawa in this series, and the actor, who has managed to beautifully walk the line between a passionate boyfriend and an understanding one, which I dont think is a very easy thing to do... I also like how adachi always manages to take kurosawa's feelings into consideration even though he very clearly is very nervous, scared and frightened by the fact that he is in a relationship.
even though i can go on and on about them forever, i think that the bottom line is that its a great show, and i love it :)

A story of redemption - of yourself and your family’s

Life has no redo - what if it does?

Hua Qian got what she wished for as she found herself back to 2 years ago. And she wasted no time to right her and her family’s wrongs, one at a time.

The early parts of the story was intriguing, figuring out the dynamics between the characters and their respective reactions to Hua Qian’s changes. Hua Qian, in her 2nd life became ever the wiser and determined to stay on the right path, as it meant staying alive. And her greatest struggle comes was from changing her closest family, making the story and characters feel rather grounded - after all, change is hard when they hadn’t experienced what Hua Qian had already “experienced prior”. I liked that it was not a walk in the park for her just because she had additional knowledge about the events. And once she changed her earlier behaviours, they logically lead to different chains of events that would no longer give Hua Qian the same advantage.

Another thing I enjoyed about Scent of Time was how Hua Qian rely on her wits most of the time to get through her valuable 2nd chance. Sure, she earned her admirers and respect. But she was no damsel in distress and played an active role in her redemption arc. This made up for the rushed ending and [somewhat] plot twist on how she got her 2nd chance…just a little bit.

Another aspect that could be improved was the supporting cast’s characters development. There were many moments in the show I felt their involvement were just pushing the plots along. Though…since it’s Hua Qian’s story of redemption, I guess this is acceptable.

Overall, I would say Scent of Time had cohesive story line and an independent female lead who stayed focus on her goals. Can give it a chance if redemption and 2nd chance stories are your thing. For those who are into romance or comedy, I’d suggest to check out other stories.

King of Baking (2010) - this drama is really well-known in korea, and sadly GMA (our local TV network) dubbed this so I didn't watch it since they are pretty bad at it. I get to watch this somehow, the Korean version one and Yoon Shi Yoon was the male lead so yeah, I really watched this. Who says Jo Woon can’t be the evil other lead in a drama? Well, I was amazed how he acted in the drama because he is really bad, like his character is really bad. This one is a family drama so it leans more on makjang type and the struggles are a lot, which turned me off as a viewer. It's hard seeing the male lead being bullied, but it was just the usual favorites of the korean audiences at that time. I’m happy that this drama got the recognition it deserves while airing and also am happy that I finished it after struggling since it's pretty long - 30 episodes.

good surprise

Sometimes I have big expectations starting a serie because of the cast or all the comments, and at the end I feel a bit desappointed. That was not the case this time. No idea about this serie but from beginning till the end I enjoyed it . I liked The storyline and all the interactions between the characters., the touch of humour. It is more question of friendships, inconditionnal support facing adversity. Even the usual character of the irritating-screaming-ahjuma becomes nice and touching .

Is this show horrible? Yes, but not horrible "Ugh,", but horrible "Weird".

Before I watched this drama, I'd seen it on different platforms as one of the worst and most ugly shows they had seen, so I did not expect too much from it. But surprisingly, this is much better than the worst dramas that I have watched.

I'll start with what I like about this show. First are the characters; all of them are good when it comes to acting, though I find the character of the male lead (Jung Yoo) lacking, but I guess that is really how he should portray his character given his background. I like the mystery that is happening about whether you really know the male lead or not. And the growing relationship between the two main leads.

Now let's tackle what I find weird. First, everybody in this drama is just obsessed with anyone. And second, the male lead. He is interesting at first, but as the episodes go by, his weirdness is just scary weird, not cute weird anymore. I do find Hong Seol and Jung Yoo adorable, especially that they understand each other, but their relationship is just so fast and didn't get a proper buildup. The male lead looks 10 times older than the female lead, too.

I'll just give this a 7/10. It is not unpleasant; I actually had fun watching this "horrible" drama. It is just that it is weird, there are a lot of annoying characters, and the ending is rushed and a disaster.

(I hope this review made sense.)

The story is somewhat weird at first, because it has that Japanese vibes drama into it. As I get into the next episodes, I did understand how it flowed just the way it is.
The female lead is super cute, I find her adorable and not quite the typical skinny girl lead which is the usual in other dramas. The male is sooooooo handsome, just my type. Their love story is really different, but I like that they showed both of their respective viewpoints which is typical in japanese dramas.
It's short but it's fine short, it's not too dragging and the conflicts are also managed faster than the usual full length dramas so it's good for passing the time.

Only for the Fans

Did not understand the hype. It looked like the main goal was to get every main character to kiss each other before the end of the series. While some characters were interesting (e.g. Sand, Ray, Boston), others were rather one-dimensional, bland and just didn't work for me (e.g. Mew, Top, Nick) aka there was nothing likeable or interesting. I truly do not understand what Mew's appeal is and the character Nick was annoyingly frustrating throughout the entire series (yes even until the end!).

The only thing that kept it going for me was the development between Sand and Ray, with the exception of some parts towards the end where the story-line did not gel with the characters. If the idea was to make homosexual relationships seem toxic, promiscuous and hedonistic (selfish to a certain extent), then this drama has certainly achieved that.

The lack of good character design and a compelling story-line aside the choice of music was rather refreshing and the acting was actually pretty decent, which helped in getting through the series. I did feel that there was too much emphasis on the intimate/love scenes, and at some point it felt like a whole lot of fan service.

An disappointing show, I wish I can have my time back for watching 5 episodes.

If you're looking for a meaningful and engaging drama, you may want to steer clear of this one.

"Rising With the Wind" is a drama that falls short of expectations in many ways. From the screenwriting to the direction, it seems like the creators had no idea what they were doing. It's essentially a poorly executed romantic story masquerading as a startup-themed drama.

The biggest issue with this series is the lack of depth in both the storyline and the characters. The main leads, portrayed by Gong Jun and Zhong Chuxi, don't seem to be serving the plot or the roles they're given. Instead, they treat the show as a fashion runway, wearing expensive branded clothes, constantly posing and posturing for the camera. This overemphasis on style comes at the cost of substance.

The performances in this drama leave much to be desired, especially Gong Jun. His delivery of lines is inconsistent and lacks emotion, he has no idea how a successful investor would behave in real life. This lack of depth and understanding makes it challenging for viewers to connect with or empathize with his character. His stilted acting raises the question of how he managed to secure this leading role.

Zhong Chuxi is equally disappointing. It's evident that she only had a superficial understanding of her character, resulting in a one-dimensional and overly formulaic performance.

The show's attempt to blend romance with the startup theme feels forced and awkward. The two elements don't complement each other effectively, resulting in a disjointed narrative.

Overall, "Rising With the Wind" fails to deliver on its promises. It's a superficial drama with underdeveloped characters, unconvincing performances, and a poorly executed storyline.
