does not live up to season 1

The characters are still as lovable as in the first season and I acknowledge that they tried to pull of an interesting and emotional story like in the first season - the problem is that they tried to outdo everything, like the fights, the stunts, the evil spirits - everything. And on top of that everything feels uninspired, the music is not fitting in the slightest, the fights remind me of hollywood and the new character is.. I'm sorry but I do not like him; to me he does not add very much value to the team. Overall I was kind of bored a lot. I know I _should_ have enjoyed watching it since I love the characters and that they tried really hard but all the overdoing of the skills.. the first ep with the schoolbus, like wtf

sweet seaside romance

Overall: a refreshing seaside romance series. 5 episodes about 20 minutes each. Aired on GagaOOLala.

Content Warnings: maybe something at the beginning with a side character but it didn't bother me at all

What I Liked
- the characters felt realistic instead of caricatures, how both of them were confident in some ways but guarded in other ways
- flashback that hinted about why Amane was jaded about love and then the reason was shown in episode 2
- caring/sweet moments
- how Ryuji sought communication
- that Amane took risks to stay true to himself/what he wanted
- production value

Room For Improvement
- don't think physics would agree with what happened around 10 minutes in episode 1 lol
- it was only 5 episodes we definitely could have used more

Alliance in truest Sense, Celebration of Sisterhood

I will give this show 8/ 10 just for showing STRONG women, not just FL in entire show. It depicts sisterhood, mistakes we made in our lives as humans, Not taking anything GRANTED in marriage.

Best thing about this show was Giving second chance to LOVE and Marriage,ML was textbook GREEN FLAG from start, with some hiccups like judging housewives, but he also got his character growth so it was fine with me. They both were EQUAL in personal relationship which was what matters

Women must take lesson from this show, be financially independent and not take anything for granted.

So i was on a down low while i decided to watch this,my oh my...what a breath of fresh air. The show is amazing and short,i honestly wish it had more episodes. The guy from advance bravely is here as the main lead and he and the FL has such great chemistry, they just mesh well together,i love all the characters even the villian, the crazy brother and the doc was soo cute together,i have to applaud everyone in this show,i could watch it everyday, there is a lot of comical parts,so its not too heavy on the drama, politics or killing, i really enjoyed the last 2 eps especially ? ❤️

GONG YOO SAVED THIS SHOW

I've been wanting to watch this for so long and now that I have watched this, it is not what I expected. For me the overall-ness of this show is absurd like how can a woman that's head over heels to a successful doctor suddenly gets confused falling on a teen ager? like yeah it is given that this show is a fantasy drama but in some point I can't really understand what the writer is wanting to tell the us in this drama.
If I am head over heels to a person I will never get confused for an annoying teen ager, you know what I am saying?? My suggestion for this drama is that maybe it is better if they did not made it a body switch thing, but it is better if they have just made the Doctor became childish after the accident and had an amnesia .. just like what happened to the story on the Kdrama the Good bad mother, there will be no confusion i guess and the story is much better.
Just like what I have said in the headline, Gong Yoo saved this show coz he is so adorable here and the acting is really giving. I also love Suzy here, she is a spoiled brat princess but still has a good heart she is so adorable here and innocent and blunt.
over all the story doesn't make sense, only the comedy parts and the two kids in the hospital, Gil Darans brother and the school Dean, also Darans friend and the PE Teacher all of them is adorable, well every character is adorable and funny only the story is what I didn't like
I thank God I am able to finish it up to the end

Laws of attraction says do not think twice just watch this series ASAP!

I won't disagree with anyone that there are many plotholes but we all agree that the leads chemistry was just *chef's kiss* ?? and that's the main ingredient for the success of the series. Even though the thrill part can be guessed beforehand but Film and Jam's acting didn't let me skip a second! I'm glad I waited till it finished either I wouldn't be able to wait and watch just 1 ep/wk. Now that I binge watched the whole series in a day, my heart is full ?
Not a fan of lakorn but because of this lovely duo I'm willing to watch "To sir, with love"!

Last but not the least Silvy's voice was just cherry on top! She's a diva. Her piercing gaze with that sweet yet confident seductive smile just *AAAARRRRRRGGGGHHHH*... whenever she was on the screen I couldn't take my eyes away from her!??

There are many things left that can be improved in the future but in the era of fluffy BLs, a genre like this, came to me as a blessing and I loved every second of it ?

My rating- 8/10

Should Have Ended at 20-24 Episodes

There might be spoilers, read at your own risk

It has been a while since I have written a review and this will be more like a short commentary than a review, but here it goes.

I love fantasy dramas and I really like these time-space travel types of shows. I love watching the character’s reactions and how they try to navigate a completely unknown location and time. However, I felt robbed of that in this drama, especially since the male lead learned to figure out technology faster than many people who have been living in contemporary times their whole lives.

The drama was mostly light, cute, and funny at first, although it was sprinkled with some seriousness here and there. I even thought misunderstandings would be solved fast as the situation with her coworker, I cannot remember his name and cannot be bothered to look it up, was resolved pretty quickly. I was so wrong. About halfway through the show, it became boring, nonsensical, and repetitive. It was so repetitive that I kept thinking, “Really?!?! How many times is this dude going to be on his deathbed and how many times is she going to break up with him?”.

Once the Zhou Wei (?) villain situation was “resolved”, I thought “finally!”. But no! The drama had more plans in store for us. *Obsessively in love with female lead brother enter stage left* This arc was hard to watch. It was frustrating, it was dragged, and felt like some form of ancient torture. When they finished the brother arc, it wasn’t enough. So for the last two episodes we are subjected to Zhou Wei again. Only he is in the contemporary world and does better at finding free clothes, learning tech, and entering places, which I would think would high security, than I ever could dream of. All of this, while hurt.

The drama is full of the usual cliches like long drawn misunderstandings, break-ups, third wheels obsessed with main leads, and… well, I won’t mention the end. If you have watched this type of drama before, it will not be surprising.

This drama would have stayed pleasant if it ended at 24 episodes (or even less). For me, it went from being a delightful watch to being tedious and almost feeling like it was a chore to watch the show.

I am never rewatching this and would not recommend it to anyone, but I also think that if watchers are hesitant, they should watch it for themselves and form their own opinion.

The Best Off-Beat BL!

This series is phenomenally unique and truly a work of art. It is really Avant-Garde and told through the eyes of a straight couple as they themselves struggle with their own demons. The saga parallels three couples seemingly unrelated but, in truth are all grappling in their own way wanting to become accepted and to move forward as lovers. My thinking is people will either love this series or not and ‘see’ it in toto. I loved it because it felt like a mind-bending journey.
If you want to read my full review of this rather astonishing series, go to BLBliss.com.

A Masterpiece not to be missed!! A really feel good series ( 。◕‿◕。 )

PLOT: a young heir (the ML), unhappy, with trauma, decides to leave everything to become a hermit on the mountain. The FL, head of a start-up and streamer, joins him at the request of ML's father, to convince him to come back to town (and to his family company).
Then, Love triangles, enemies-to-friends-to-lovers, healing romance, rural life

PROS:
+ a great CL with Chen Jing Ke as ML (very handsome with short hair) and Tang Min as FL, who show a really great chemistry (and lots of kisses and skinship, like couples who are truly in love do :). I would love to see them together on screen again (^_^)
+ An excellent cast, with very endearing 2ary characters. Life in the village, with solidarity, rumours, the proximity of everyone,... is well highlighted.
+ No “super CEO” or Mary Sue, the characters are human, with their happiness, their sorrows, their difficulties. Psychologically, the storyline is solid and realistic.
+ the production is dynamic, without length. Everything is said in 24 episodes, just the perfect length.
+ the OSTs are nice, not memorable but well suited.

CONS:
None.

=> I don't understand the relatively low rating for this series, because I devoured it in 2 days. I put this drama on the list of series to watch again, without any hesitation.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Love triangles, friendship -> healing romance, rural life

PROS:

Healthiest Jap BL couple!!!

I love how misunderstanding is cleared up almost instantly. I mean, if a high schooler can do this, why can't other BL couples do this? Lol..I also love side straight couple. I am usually biased towards supporting the BL couple, but this is the first show I actually love all couples and enjoy the entire show, without skipping scenes.

Music is spot on. Development is great. Really funny, cute and loving

The only thing is I still don't understand why they break up. I feel like its a plot twist for the sake of. Depsite it, since its a happy ending, I'll take it. Also, since they are in high school, I guess its common to break up easily for no reasons. After all, its their first relatioship and they did really well for that

It seems unlilely but I'm happy for a special episode or season 2, even!

Also, Ida gets cuter at each scene!

Same old storyline

Their kisses are passionate? but the storyline is not ???

Let me try and summarise:
Rich heiress father dies, she becomes temporarily blind. Her fiancée is cheating with her best friend. In comes the new bodyguard who falls in love with her. Discovers the plot that the fiancée and best friend had something to do with the father’s death and is planning to steal her company and money!! Yep, nothing new?

It’s only 12 mins each episode, so an easy watch. Nothing fantastic, only if you need a drama filler in between.

Masterpiece after a while!

I watched this Action-packed Korean drama “Moving” because of the reels. At first, I thought it would be boring office drama BUT I was so wrong when I started watching… It turns out to be one of the BEST KDRAMA OF 2023.

This is the only Kdrama of 2023 that I give 9.5 out of 10 ? after so long I give any drama this rating. It is so amazing, filled with Multistars, action, emotions, slow-burn romance, superpowers, and whatnot… it is perfect in every aspect.

It is a big-budget multi-starred series where writer Kang Full gives each character their backstory. Every actor and supporting cast of this series did their work with so much dedication that you didn’t question of Han Hyo Joo playing the role of a teen mom Lee Mi Hyun.

Bong Seok can fly but isn’t allowed by his mother, so he tries everything to hide it. Hee Soo possesses exceptional athleticism and rapid injury recovery & isn’t aware until she faces an incident that leads her to join a new school and Gang Hoon wields uncanny strength and speed and is being trained by NIS to later join them.

Every episode of this series starts with a new character, their superpower, and their story. While the first half focused on the teens other half was dedicated to their parents' lives, the struggle to hide their kids, and the urge to protect them won’t let you hold your tears.

Meanwhile, the villains of the story have their own backstory which makes you sympathize with them instead of hating. The supporting characters like Choi Il Hwan (Kim Hee Won) PE teacher, and Jeon Gye Do (Cha Tae Hyun) bus driver have a very significant impact on the story.

The screenplay is not too fast, not too slow, just the right amount of humor, and the slow-burn romance between the main characters Lee Mi-hyun and Kim Doo-sik urges you to ask for more, the cute romance of Jang Joo Won and Hwang Ji Hee is so innocent. Also, the teen romance between Bong Seok and Hee Soo makes you giggle.

The background music is perfect, and the VFX of the fighting scenes was amazing but could be better in a few scenes, like where Kim Bong Seok was breaking the glass while saving Hee Soo.

The action scenes are no joke, Jang Ju-won (Ryu Seung-ryong) fighting scenes literally remind you of Hulk and Lee Jae Man (Kim Sung Kyun) action scenes and the faceoff was so rizz… He is still the most powerful but… Imagine if this character didn’t have any mental challenges then?

Now about the ending, Unexpectedly where other KDramas are giving realistic endings Moving has a happy ending with the potential of next season. Hence, not the director nor the writer announced anything about next season but fans demanding it, so, you can understand the popularity.

IMO, this is a must-watch Kdrama series if you are a fan of action and/or romance you would definitely gonna love this. ??

The plot hugged the boring scenes longer!

I didn’t really have great expectations on Mr. Fox and Miss Rose maybe because I’m currently having a Drama-dilemma phase. This was in my immediate watch list for so long, especially because I heard people raving about it quite abundantly. I hopped on it thinking nothing and I’m glad that I did that because I’m now pretty sure that even the slightest bit of expectation from this drama might have made me disappointed in it.

The plot is simple as it claims: A sweet girl who is the queen of a secluded tribe that holds some secrets which the female lead doesn’t know it herself. Suddenly her world becomes upside down when a man accidentally falls into her area and the tribe thinks that he should marry the queen because he is worthy enough(?!) as no one really can go to that place alive. The male lead is not really our typical C-drama ML who is straight, rude and spot-less. We see a gray shade of this man; he has ulterior objectives and pretty much deceives the FL and the whole tribe to get what he wants and escapes from that place. Cut to – the FL follows him to this present technological world that is very unfamiliar to her. They meet. Both unaware of what love means, develop feelings for each other gradually and realise them eventually making each other stronger emotionally. The basic plot is done right but the problem arises next - the way this plot furthers. As episodes run, the drama becomes more about the ML’s Jewel hunt background plot rather than the relationships - which is horribly executed. It has no story but is given importance. It is so dragging that you can just fast forward all of those scenes and you can still figure out what happened. Episodes pass but there will be no promotion in what’s happening. Result: you’ll lose interest. Rationally, I skipped all of that unnecessary sluggish sh*t and only halted at the places where the FL is (they are the only interesting scenes worth watching).

Weird comparison, but the first half of this drama seemed very oddly similar to the Korean drama ‘Legend of the Blue Sea’; maybe because I invested myself too much with the concept of the two leads coming from two different worlds, the female lead being absolutely innocent and naïve- completely unaware of the treacherous modern world, and then there is the male lead who is a player - he is slightly twisted (his past background being the reason; especially the mother sentiment element), he is a con man, his aim is to earn… nevertheless, a good kind-hearted young man who decides to save the female lead from all harm which primarily was caused by his own entry in her life as he feels indebted to her in the beginning and later because he loves her. In anyways, this is just an idea that ran in my mind but there is nothing to really compare and contradict here, I kept my eyes extensively to this drama only while watching.

What I really love are the characters of the leads. True to heart, C-drama FL’s can be really annoying with their over-the-top cute acting which is so cringey but thankfully our FL is not like that. She is the cute kind of cute (if that’s a thing). She is never annoying though she had to act like she knows nothing and she is sweet. The scenes that had her are the best ones. I wanted to see her more. The director did a great job with not making her look cringe. Zhang Ya Qin who played the role of Xing Yue did a superb job. She was endearing to watch. Coming to the ML: lovely character. I’m so happy with the fresh depiction of a con man, who is easy going, intelligent, a playboy and not typically your aloof ML impressed me a lot. Ren You Lun playing Gao Zhen He deserves all the praise. He was a natural. His expressions never looked like he tried or acted - he genuinely played Gao Zhen He effortlessly like a ball in his court. He played the dual role of the father too and that too with so much finesse that it almost looked like another person. I had to see twice to confirm that it was the same person. Meticulous job, I enjoyed seeing him! It’s my first time seeing both of the leads, they are good actors and I hope to see more of their works. Jie Bing as Chen Wen Quan showed his expertise buttttttt even his good acting couldn’t save the ambiguity of the character he was given. It was just too absurd for me. Special mention to Chen Xi Jun in the role of Yi Tian, he ate and left no crumbs. He did what was told to do and walked off with grace. But that’s it. I didn’t like any other character; so many unnecessary ones with hazy characters. I didn’t understand what they are like and for some- why they even existed. The actors gave satisfactory performances despite.

The chemistry was persuasive. I won’t say that it was super addictive that I would want to ship the couple; it cannot be left out either. Maybe the plot was at fault. It was simple kinda cute. There was still a sustained spark between the leads irrespective of the plot getting side-tracked from their romance story. The leads are very comfortable with each other. It felt like two friends graduating into a relationship. They looked understanding and the romance appeared simple, innocent, spontaneous and genuine. Nonetheless, it was pretty-pretty and cutesy.

Styling was such a let-down. I couldn’t bear to see the FL’s hair and her costumes – horrendous! 9with few looks being an exception) The FL’s tribe costume has weird black leggings and I couldn’t take my eyes off them. They kept distracting me taking me away from the concept. The other tribe members didn’t wear them, so I assume that they wanted to depict that the queen is reserved or something but that could’ve been done by giving her more exquisite jewellery or clothes and amongst all, the designers chose to give her leggings (┬┬﹏┬┬). Coming to the “western” clothes - The whole mix of modernity and that tribe thingy they wanted to bring out from the costumes was done wrong in every way. The Half and half curly hair and bun drew flames in my eyes with anger. It fitted the concept but not Zhang Ya Qin’s features. C-drama designers fu*k up styling the female leads in most of the modern dramas irdky (especially the hairstyles). Mainly when they want to portray the FL to be a cute one – I expect no good styling at all. Also, special mentions to Xia Na’s styling when they forced RED Beanies on to her head ruining the whole look. However, I’m satisfied by the make-up department. Giving the FL no make-up was genius which added to her image (but I expected a little more tint on her lips and cheeks – that would make her look healthy as she looked pale and ill in some frames with the monotonous colour on her face). The dark lip shades on Li An also was a huge plus to her character’s image. The sophisticated make-up on Xia Na brought her beautiful features into the limelight, she looked gorgeous. The make-up on the boys could have improved though!

I love the colour and art of the whole drama. It has brought the tribe and modern aesthetics really well. The sets were nicely made. I loved the wooden twig houses and that wooden cage in the tribe episodes. Xing Yue’s room with a round bed surrounded by fake plants reminding her of the tribe was cute as it showed Gao Zhen He’s efforts to make her feel at home. The camera angles were okay too. Overall, the cinematography department passed the test.

OST’s okay. It’s not a very memorable one but does the job so I won’t comment more.

The Re-watch value is meagre. I would rather watch fan edits on YouTube if I ever feel like I miss the cute chemistry of the leads. I’m never coming back to watch the series anyhow.

Finally, a one-time watch if you are bored and need a C-drama which is a no-brainer and can cleanse your palette with some cute leads.

P.S: Please watch it with little to no expectations, you’ll be good ?

No depth despite 16 Episodes

Since Rowoon was so convincing as ML in "She would never know" and "the kings affection", I expected a lot. The story line around the love spells would have provided many opportunities, but it was not clear to me when or when not, why or why not they were effective. What was left was a lame love story with no chemistry, in which the ML struggled to find emotional depth without succeeding at least in parts. The dialogues are cliché and miss any opportunity for real engagement. Clichees can play an important role in a story, but this opportunity was also missed. The story, the characters and their motives did not become plausible. I know "100 days my prince" from the screenwriter, which I liked. The cast with the supporting actors has already proven how good they are in many dramas. Too bad!

A MUST WATCH SHOW

this is not the drama you will forget for a long time. a well acted and produced drama.
the character growth most very good. the acting of whole cast made this drama very good too. the story of ML and FL was with tons of ups and down. the plot seems average but each episode will live you with many things to remember.
the show was full of comedic scene which will make you laugh like hell...
the supporting leads done a very well job too. there is a very good surprise for superhero fans too.
the second lead male make me cry and that make me laugh too.
you will never forget the performance of the cast especially when their is comedic scene .
the ost of the show was just icing on the cake.
a must watch drama which will you never forger for a long time and remembering this for it's performance.
