torn between loving and loathing this show.

On one hand, i want to give 10 stars for the incredible directing, acting, set design and interesting plot. On the other i want to give 1 star because of how tone deaf this show is sometimes.

Killing yourself is NOT a sin/evil/selfish. I think it is harmful to portray it that way. Especially since most suicidal people just don't kill themselves because their life is a little hard, they kill themselves because living is more painfull than death and because they are MENTALLY ILL. They often don't think rationally, they don't make sense to a rational person that doesn't want to die. They also think the living are better off WITHOUT them.

Not only that, ML has a support system. Many people do not have that. Telling suicidal people to live on because they have "loved ones" is naive. Not everyone has a support system and getting one can be very hard (especially when you are poor/homeless/are in an abusive situation etc.)

I hated that they changed Death's reason from the webtoon. In the webtoon, death didn't care that he killed himself, she was just pissed off that he called her "a means to an end" and unimportant, so she wanted to show the ML how powerfull she really is. I don't get why they changed that and forced some boring christianity-plot into it.

So all in all, i love everything but the preachy "other peoples lives are worse than yours, stop complaining" aspect.

The viewer gets drawn into everything and you 'feel' all sorts of emotions with and for everyone

A very good series which I thoroughly enjoyed. The viewer gets drawn into everything and you 'feel' all sorts of emotions with and for everyone. The actors really did well and can't imagine different actors portraying these characters. Chen Xiao and Lui Guan Lin stood out above the others with great performances.

I hanged on to the last few episodes dreading for it to come to an end.... because I wanted to be 'part' of their world a little longer.

That's what drama is supposed to be, taking you into their world and keeping you engaged.

Production and Visual FX : 8.5

OST: 9

Thought provoking and really makes one think......

The longest I've spent on 30 episodes, but and this is a huge 'but'.. A very GOOD reason for it!!

Brilliant series and right out need to say that I wished that I waited for season 2 to also be available...... Can't imagine waiting for another year or two.......

The reason for taking longer than usual is because of the complexity in the story. I really needed to concentrate to keep track of everything that was happening and spent lot of time on Google. Topics such as 'the three body problem' (what it was all about) and if it existed outside of sci-fi as well as certain things surrounding astrophysics, gravity, radiation, migration patterns of birds, etc etc. All of this helped me in a way to better 'take in' some of what was happening in the story. Thought provoking and really make one think about what we, humans are doing to our planet and where it will end. The writer of the Three Body books is superb in drawing you in and the screenwriters and producers of this series did a great job in my humble opinion.

The actors really did an amazing job at portraying their respective characters. I absolutely loved Shi Qiang's character and Yu He Wei did an excellent job!! Edward Zhang portraying Wang Miao also did a great job. The others also did well but these two kept me engaged throughout the series. The foreign actors weren't that great but I read that this series was done during Covid so that's ok I guess.

Production and Visual FX was top notch for me. I also read in an article that money was running out and that it was necessary to use personal funds at some point. So taking this into account they really did well. The gaming interface was a great addition and it was a necessary part to bring everything together.

OST was amazing, I loved all the soundtracks and audio which were included at just the right time.

Overall really enjoyed this and can't wait for season 2 and 3, unless book 2 and 3 are combined in season 2.

Highly recommended!

Not perfect but it was good? Enjoyed the anime that was included here and there

A good historical romance series. Enjoyed it.

******SMALL SPOILER ********

Story: 9 well written with well thought out plots, character building and everything nicely tied up.

Acting : 8.5 All actors did a great job at portraying their respective characters. Leo Wu and Dilraba Dilmurat did well but chemistry between them was just not there making it hard to believe they are in love. Zhao Lusi and Liu Yuning did great and their 'love' was believable, as well as that of Xiyue Cao and Yi Daqian's.

Production and Visual FX : 8.5 enjoyed the anime that was included here and there. Costumes for the Ashile tribe and other tribes were great especially that of Ashile Sun (Leo Wu)

OST: 9 loved all the songs used and sound effects were just right.

Rewatch value : 0 Even though I enjoyed it I don't think I will rewatch it and there's also no single episode that wowed me in such a way that I would pin it to watch again later.

Fresh and unique ❤️ Loved it

Really enjoyed this series ❤️

Both ML & FL were great in their respective roles. Both were the best choices for these roles in my opinion - can't imagine any other actors that could have pulled this off as they did. Also enjoyed the side characters.

The story is fresh and unique and can't recall any other series that's similar to this. Binged this series as there were no dull moments and kept me wanting to see the next episode.

I loved the songs played through out the series, perfectly chosen and played at the right moment and will definitely add some to my Playlist.

Highly recommended ❤️

Awesome series ❤️ Never felt dragged out and actually felt like I finished it faster

Worth the watch. To all who will watch this series - make sure you watch the two short episodes 60 and 61!!

Acting: 9. Loved all the characters, except the bad guys of course especially that of the main arc. The actors did a very good job of portraying their respective characters. I did form a bond / connection with most of them and routed for a lot of characters - this only possible when the actors do their best. Special mention, Yang Zi a d Cheng Yi who did an awesome job of portraying Yan Dan and Tang Zhou. I really enjoy Cheng Yi's acting and he is a great actor in my humble opinion.

Story: 9 The story unfolded quite well with plot twists and surprises along the way. You could foresee outcome of some plots because of clever hints given - you have to pay attention though. I binged the series even with 59 episodes in total. Never felt dragged out and actually felt like I finished it faster than other series's that were 40 episodes. Bulk of the content felt necessary to get to the finale.

Production and Visual FX were good: 8.5

Ost : 9 music went well with bulk of the scenes.

Rewatch value: 9 Will likely Rewatch some episodes and perhaps entire series if I can't find anything better. That's after I've re-watched my most favorite drama series's of course.

This was fun

Finally a drama about bad parents, bad spouses, bad friendships, and a hint of divorce is no only necessary but may save a persons life... Done kind of odd. As this drama mixes a bunch of my beloved clices ads a moment of confusion interesting twists (some more predictable than others) and mote or less enjoyable characters.

The good ones may do questionable things but are so good they make you cringe at times.... The villains are so evil it is hard to feel for them. That said they did make it very clear how difficult it can be to break loose...

Even while knowing the ending... fighting back agains those close does take its tool.

That said there are several parts in this drama that made me go :Oh come on... and oh no shi***.... As some twists could be sensed a 14 episodes in advance.

This is not a. masterpiece but a fun watch for those who can appreciate a man who can wait, wrist grabs, evil, gaslighting and a different twist to the secound chance go back in time romance.

Excellent series❤️❤️ with roller-coaster of emotions.

SPOILER ALERT

I would have given a 10 rating if it wasn't open ended, even if it were to be a sad ending. It doesn't appear that there will be follow-up according to the news articles (as at 21 September 2023) which is unimaginable.....

Draw back..... The last 4 minutes of the final episode. Open ending which ended with Zi Yu waiting for Yan to return and at the final seconds of the episode hearing the doors opening....

Back to what I think of the series:
Story 9 (taking into account the open ending) a great plot with lots of twists which kept the viewer engaged and also gave very subtle hints on certain things. At times I didn't want to watch the next episode because I will then finish it too quickly. Roller-coaster of emotions and routed for the main couple as well as Jin Fan and Zhi Shang. Cried with deaths of family members of the Gong Family as well Han Ya Si and Yun's 'sister'.

Acting: 9 in my opinion for all Main actors as well Jolin Jin (loved her so much), Tian Jia Rui (he did a great job of portraying Yuan Zhi) and of course Sun Chen Jun.

Production and Visual FX : 10 loved all the costumes and different sets / backdrops - everything was beautiful

OST: 10 Beautiful songs and Sound effects were great.

Will definitely Rewatch. I'll just make up my own ending!

Sweet Romance ❤️❤️

Sweet romance❤️❤️ this was a great series. Obvious why so many viewers gave high ratings. Highly recommended!!

This had just the right amount of everything (young love, sad and tragic past for ML, true love, belief in the goodness of the other person, having that person realize that they're worth it..... overcomes all obstacles making a person whole again, giving purpose, dedication and happiness). Actors did an amazing job portraying their respective characters. Loved the Male and Female lead (the chemistry and the way they interacted with each other felt like a real love story) and along with all supporting characters.

Overall 10 rating as I can't give any critique. Rewatch value 10.

Thought provoking and produced so well.

A very good Thriller Romance SciFi.

I enjoyed this very much, the actors did an amazing job portraying of portraying their respective characters.

The story was very different from what I've watched and even read in novels before and was thought provoking and produced so well.

I was pulled into the story from the get go and different emotions were evoked and I cried in almost every episode up to say episode 14. Did cry again after that but less than the previous episodes.

Just note that you need to really pay attention / concentrate on everything that is happening otherwise you will get confused or loose track.

Loved the theme song and will look for it online to download.

Might rewatch this in a few months time, especially when I need a good cry session.

When life gives you a second chance, grab it and own it

Marry My Husband centers around an ill woman who receives the final blow when she learns her bestie and husband are having an affair. She dies soon after, but is given a second chance at life.

Marry My Husband makes it easy to fall in love with protagonist Kang Ji-won – and that’s already half the battle won for this K-drama. Park Min-young effortlessly portrays her as smart and kind, though not in a superficial way, but a little too naive and trusting. Yet, she’s learning from her past (or, in this case, future) mistakes and evolving as a person. Thankfully, it’s a gradual process that allows the audience space to root for Ji-won as the show progresses, while acknowledging that she can’t possibly handle it all on her own.

To that end, Ji-won is surrounded by a cast of equally charming, if fairly one-dimensional, characters. There’s her bubbly co-worker Yu Hee-yeon (Choi Gyu-ri), who gives Ji-won a makeover, well-meaning but meek assistant manager Yang Joo-ran (Gong Min-jung) and her stoic but secretly soft-hearted boss and love interest Yu Ji-hyuk (Na In-woo). They are as tropey and archetypal as K-drama characters come, but in a way that’s also their job, to not detract from who we’re all here for: Kang Ji-won. It may not be the most groundbreaking of shows, but that’s not what it’s trying to be either. This Korean drama knows it’s a guilty pleasure through and through, and embraces that wholeheartedly. There is something immensely satisfying about seeing a carefully drawn-out, deliciously manipulative revenge plan slowly but steadily unfold onscreen. It satisfies by giving the audience exactly what they want by letting Ji-won get her payback, with a handful of unexpected twists that are just enough to keep viewers running back for more.

My Rating : 8.4/10

This was unexpectedly a very good series and I really enjoyed it.

This was unexpectedly a very good Wuxia series and I really enjoyed it. Glad that I decided to give it a chance even though there are numerous reviews and comments which suggest that this series is not worth watching.

The comments regarding the female lead, Ren Min not being the right choice for the character of Zhu Yan is ridiculous. She acted the way the character was written and did a good job in my opinion. Ren Min's acting is a 8.5/10 for me. Xiao Zhan did great as Shi Ying so 10/10 for him (really impressed with his acting skills) .

All the other actors did a great job at portraying their respective characters especially, Alen Fang, Wang Churan, Zi Qi Wang and Marcus Li. The chemistry between the couples were also very good and believable, specifically Shi Ying and Zhu Yan as well as Bai
Xuelu and Qing Gang.

Story: The story kept the viewer engaged with enough intrigue to keep one wanting to see what happens next. Most of the Arc's were tied up but the Sea emperor's and the Dragon Lord's wasn't.

The ending is left open for interpretation, either Shi Ying will only return once a year when the Snowy Rosa blooms or he became immortal and actually returned in the last scene to spend their remaining years together. My interpretation is that he became immortal and returned. My reason being that when Yuan took Zhu Yan and seriously injured Shi Ying (because he lost his powers after Zhu Yan resurrected him with the Blood oath spell) , he went through rebirth, regained all his powers and became immortal. So he was able to return by transforming from the white petal (his primordial spirit in the white petal).
So story 8.5/10

Production and Visual FX were great as well Cinematography, excellent CGI, beautiful sets and scenery, excellent fight scenes which were well choreographed, beautiful costumes 9/10

Ost: 10/10 loved all the music and sound effects

Really loved it and enjoyed it immensely!!

A Definite 10/10 for this Romance Sport's drama. Really loved it and enjoyed it immensely!! I binged this, watching until early hours of the morning.

Everything was great from Story which is very original in my opinion, Acting, Visual effects, Production and OST.

Wu Lei is an amazing actor in my humble opinion, he did very very well in his role as Yiyang. His acting and expressions were spot on and believable in every aspect for the character he portrayed. I was very emotional with the scenes of Coach He. He also did pretty well with english and also singing in english. I'm also impressed by Zhao Jin Mai (mere 21yrs old) as Yin Guo, I've only seen one other series of her, Reset but will look into the others she played in. Their chemistry was great and their love story was very believable. The scene where he proposed made me so emotional, it was just right with their friends in the background. The shot of the seating area from above (spelled out LOVE) was a perfect 'ending' of the proposal scene for us, the audience.

The other actors also did a great job with special mention for Wang Xing Yie, Chen Jing Ke, Ding Xiao Ying, Dong Zi Fan and Wang Jia Xuan. Also Yin Guo's mother, Wu Qian played by Jiang Hong Bo who brought 'real' angst in terms of the family accepting Yiyang.

First CDrama which I watched with part of the series being in a foreign country. Production was done very well and scenes (city, etc) and scenery was awesome, especially the island get away.

The sports side of it was exciting and first ever billiard/pool/snooker series that I've watched. The competitions were filmed very well with great angles, etc. Googled the rules of the specific games and it broadened my knowledge and opened a new sport to me, to enjoy. I normally love anything to do with horses, tennis and gymnastics and snooker is now part of it! We have a pool/snooker table but haven't played for some time and want to now play again.

Ost was awesome and will be downloading the songs used especially the main song, Love and shine.

Rewatch value is very high on this one. Will wait a month or so and definitely watch it again. I will miss the main cast and it's a pity that it has ended. Would definitely watch a second season if its at all possible.

Female Lead was the most annoying character.

Overall this drama is amazing . But if the FL didn't exist this would have been more beautiful. Her character ruined all the enjoyable moments in the drama and instead made us annoyed. We could directly say it's a beautiful bromance drama. Also satisfied with the ending. But would have been excellent if we were offered a scene three of them together in a far away location.
This story justified murders in a nice way and I love the plot that the character development is not as typical as 'just psychopaths' as in other crime dramas. Also love the different ending and not being all murders in prison.
