Romeo and Juliet lost in thinking, plus lots of cliches

The story has some interesting starting points (adopted children, disfunctional families and upbringing, social classes, nepotism, fear of incest between adopted siblings, etc.), however it all loses meaning due to main characters' back-and-forth bickering that is, besides leading nowhere, difficult to understand or follow.
FL clearly does not know what does she want, but she wants it.
ML is, basicaly, barking his way through it all.
On the top of it, lots of 'correct' cliches: brave, honest firefighters, blood-thirsty media, strict father-like doctor mentor, crying and/or screaming girls, ect.
It seems all involved in production tried their best, but were losing the battle with a confusing script.
Finally, the poor dog should not be kept on chain!!! Don't encourage unscrupulous dog owners.

This could be a 10 but..

This is the first BL series that is almost my first 10/10 BL series ever. I watched more than 150 BL series so far and I still couldn't find my 10/10. I met La Pluie when it came out and I felt my connection to it. It's consistently a 10/10 from every episode until it reached the episode where the hearing loss of the main leads was suddenly cured without proper explanation. All stories have been closed and entered a new beginning at the final episode except that one plot hole. How the hell was the hearing loss cured? Was it because of the third-party? Was it because they were close to each other when it was raining?

Other than that, I love most of the things they gave to us. I love their solid characters. I like Tien's character the most. I like Tien-Lomfon relationship. I love how Tai realized his actions were the same as what her mother did when she and his ex-husband divorced. I really appreciate the detailed characters. There are no wasted characters. The OST is so good. Every time it was played as background music during an emotional scene, I got teary eyes. Well, the whole Episode 12 did make me cry.

Thank you to all who made this happen.

THIS IS MY TOP BL SO FAR. We may have different tastes but for me, this is the series that I would love to recommend to everyone.

I LOVE THIS!

A Cool Concept Marred By Stupidity

I had so many hopes that this drama was gonna showcase a unique perspective on the soulmate concept, but I guess my hopes were too high. I came into this as someone who has watched hundreds of hours of queer romances hoping to add another entry on my list of favorites, but was sadly disappointed. Maybe I was too excited? I guess I should now explain my score and how this drama let me down...

Story: The story concept of hearing your soulmate in the rain was a good one. Where this went wrong for me was in the execution and flow of the story. The wishing your hearing loss away made the concept have no standing to the rest of the episodes. What was the point of the concept if you can just wish to not be soulmates with someone in a fit of anger? It was such a letdown for me to realize that the writer and director couldn't help but sabotage their own plot by erasing what made this a unique concept. I get that they wanted to add drama to the plot, but couldn't they have come up with something more unique like instead of being able to only hear your soulmate's voice, maybe when you reject them, you become deaf all together. All I needed was some consequences to the act of rejecting your soulmate.

Characters: I really only liked Patts and Tien by the end of this show. They were the only two who actually seemed to evolve as the story went on. Patts for me was a walking green flag. Reading the comments after the kiss between Tai and Lomfon made me think that he was justified in however he was gonna react to it. I felt like a majority of the comments complaining about how violent his reaction was to their kiss have never been in a relationship where one person is open and the other is secretive. Patts was open and honest with Tai from the beginning and was basically ignored and gaslit thru the majority of the plot up to that point. The childish behavior that Tai showed really justified the reaction he gave. From Patts' perspective Tai ignored all the signs that Lomfon liked him and was basically entertaining him. I ended up holding no sympathy for Lomfon and Tai after all of the mess that was episode 10.

Tien on the other hand was really charming thru the whole show. He started off a bit of a goof, but matured the way he should have as a college aged male. I was hoping that he would've wizened up to who Lomfon really was by the end, but the heart wants what the heart wants.

As for the rest of the cast, there were no other standout performances or characters that weren't annoying. I am sick of all these BL dramas with annoying female characters. All female characters in BL dramas I compare to Manow in UWMA. She was sassy, but didn't try to ruin anyone else's relationship. The vet clinic cast was way too involved in Patts' love life for me to really wanna be invested in their characters.

Overall, this was cool concept ruined by mediocre writing and poor plot development. Characters with no redeeming qualities and undeserved happy ending made this a crappy experience for me.

The series had so much potential yet had to fight through not to drop it

The things I enjoyed:
- The bond between Do-un and His Grandfather was so sweet and heartwarming.
- Some of the plots were so unexpected and I liked how those made the story evolve and sometimes how Do-jun put his aunt and uncle in their shoes.
- The lineup of the cast duh
- The Squad Miracle Investment top tier I love how they got each other's back and when they come up with plans.

The things I didn't enjoy that much:
- The Pacing; The first few episodes had a fast pacing and then the pacing got so slow.
- The Storyline; It's not that I hate It completely but the storyline was quite dry. Like from ep 9-15 It's like the same betrayals happened but in a different department and in the end, it was all a plan of Do-jun. Not that I got a problem but It got to a point where I just got bored. The rest of the storyline is not that bad. Not satisfied with the end at all, I got very confused when Do-jun died and then we're suddenly back to the present. Still mad at the author for not making Do-jun and Min-young a thing, like common he was going to propose. The ending was just not satisfying, it had me confused, mad and a little bit disappointed.
- Characters; Everyone in the Jin Family pissed me off. they had like no type of development and they just stayed the same dum relatives who always got deceived by Do-jun and betray each other. Like bring in some spice, nobody developed anything everyone was an MVP.

Overall:
I don't only wanna hate on the series and say it's horrible, just saying it wasn't my cup of tea and the things mentioned might not appeal to your experience. The series It actually good, the storyline is neutral and the characters are also. In my opinion, the series wasn't that special it was neutral, nothing to spectacular sum the storyline accurately the ending just dropped me without that I would've given the series 7 and up.

Stopping at Ep 12 to keep the good feelings

I don't normally stop any series, but after reading reviews, and coming to the end of episode 12, I knew that any further and I would be disappointed, and likely angry. It ends with Pete and Ae happy, TinCan starting to date and not having a rape scene put in my face.
Loved it through 12, and so I will take my happiness out and not let it spoil me. I maybe will watch Season 2. However, from the reviews, it sounds like I would be fast forwarding through anything that isn't TinCan and even then, not starting at the retelling of their story, but completely different.

Serious drama with educational tone

Watch this of course like most of us for Dilireba. Watch this at the point I'm quite bored with romance drama, so yeah this quite refreshing for me.

Sometimes quite admire and jealous with China. Like when they have problem with something, they make drama & people watch & finally get educated or at least aware with the problem or how to handle it in the end. My home country not so much, mostly just about trash soap opera that I myself not even watch. Haha.... But recent years our soap opera getting better, but still not on this level too...

Ok back to our drama. I think when China make this drama, their problem with internet fraud in China is already piling, so they make this drama to educate their people about this problem & how to best solve it, which just trust your country & law to handle the criminal.

Just like Rampie wrote: 'First off I'd like to say that this is mainly an educational anti-fraud drama. Don't expect action packed drama, sizzling romance, thriller, or any of that sort. If you're here looking for action or romance you will be disappointed. Don't bother watching if you get bored easily at lectures, Reba's character and other characters will try to lecture you in various Chinese laws and saying it out loud many times!' Yeah not much romance or action in this drama. There's limited police action & slight romance that we can enjoys. But mostly they educate us with all the laws.... But for me all this drama not really boring, cause they still alternate with action & daily life of the cast.

And the most important thing this drama in the end not only about anti-fraud drama, but there're something big net that wrap the whole things. & they keep all the net cleverly under the wrap to attract us to watch until the end.

Oh the only minus point this drama has for me: they use Chinese all the way.... I mean they do go abroad to take care the criminal, yet they still use Chinese when speak & all the people in that country know Chinese by heart & quite fluent with it. I know they don't want to offend any country regarding this. But when you go international more naturally to speak with English than with Chinese.

Overall this really good drama to bring us awareness about all the bad thing internet can bring us & about how they do the fraud in this internet era

This drama is the chased your dream stage/after college

This is the first time I'll be writing a review so please pardon my shortcomings.
The first part shall I say first 13 episodes is really confusing. I have difficulty understanding what's happening, but on episode 15 I started to realized why I'm confused. This drama isn't like typical youth drama that happened in university but rather, after university where they start to pursue their chosen career.
For me this is realistic, especially the friendship which was tested and it stood the test.
Luckily she broke up with her senior because there's no chemistry at all.
The main lead isn't my type because her acting is forced and awkward(in my opinion) maybe because I felt her character annoying. On the other hand, I love her fighting spirit that even if how difficult she went through, she just cry but never gave up.
I'm not a person of lovey dovey scenes so everything in this drama is acceptable. "Fighting Girl" as the title connotes, I won't complain why she faced a lot of setbacks. The title itself answered it.
Lastly, in the world we are living, we faced challenges, meet different people and starts to grow up realizing all the hardships are worth it.
I will not recommend this drama because I know most viewers love sweet tweetum kind of drama. I'm just happy that I finished another not so good drama yet has a lot of moral lessons.

Very catchy, well-paced drama with cool OSTs.

I really liked this series, on the one hand because I'm a fan of the 2 leads, Zhang Vim ❤❤❤ & Janice Wu ❤❤❤, on the other hand, because the story is believable, well told, well written and that the production is almost perfect.

Plot: reunion of 2 former high school friends/lovers, ML / FL, who had parted over a misunderstanding, in a high-tech company. The ML is a manager of the Technology department and the FL (heiress sent anonymously by her grandfather, by challenge , to refloat this company in distress) is an employee there.

The 2 leads, both famous actors, have developed an incredible chemistry, with intense OTPs. The other actors are good, performing the secondary roles brilliantly, with a bit of humor and a lot of friendship.

=> An excellent drama to watch and rewatch without any hesitation.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Slow plot advancement, average acting, uninteresting and unrealistic hospital and swat scenes

I do not understand why this drama has such high ratings except for the fact that the male lead is handsome and some view it as an idol drama meant for younger audiences.

Both the swat and hospital seems were incredibly unrealistic, and there’s no chemistry, friendship, character development between the colleagues in the hospital or the SWAT environment. The disaster relief, training and crime busting scenes had no interesting stories, making them time wasters.

The FL is not able to come across as someone who has finesse and excellence in her job while being ditsy at the same time simply because of the way she handles patients and medical equipment (along with all the rest of the cast as well actually). It’s forgiveable that she handles medical emergencies like someone worse than a first-aider, but she at least needs to have the facial expressions to go along with it, that’s why it’s called acting.

That said, the main dullness of the show the female FL and ML, and the 2nd leads, don’t have a strong character or plot arc.

The drama is simply filled with patient and swat training when there’s nothing going on between between the cast.

I dropped the drama at episode 18.

Bela proposta. O desenvolvimento ficou pra deus.

Crazy & Worth the Watch!

This series is fun and filled with life lessons. The twists towards the end you don't see coming. The love interest's journey to get together didn't feel forced or unbelievable. ML (Kim Jae Wook) hits every beat of the dynamic challenges of his character and how the edge of his character begins to soften throughout. The FL (Krystal Jung) held her own in giving us range of emotion in both verbal and non-verbal communication. The second couple was cute. I am glad that writers made the decision to focus more on the journey of the main characters instead of forcing a full second couple storyline. OST was nice and not overbearing. Production was well done. However, certain scenes started to feel redundant with the SFL. The weaving of how so many people can become the culprit for different reasons was well played. How this series dealt with trauma and loss hit home and rang true to how one can have closed off and reactionary displays of emotion. This is definitely worth the watch!

NOTE: So many people are missing out on this jewel because it is hard to find and is not loaded on many platforms. Even on YouTube it only shows clips and not episodes. But once you are able to find and watch this drama, it will become one of your favorites.

Goob beginning but......

Okay the series started as an absolut bangwr, i love the comcept of soulmates but its delicate and has to be made rught or it will feel off and forced.
And for the first few eps this series did that really good, they showed the inner conflicts of having a soulmate and what it actually means , if the feelings you feel are actually yours or just drstiny forcing you yo like the one it picked for you.
The acting was good to that poiny especially the two main characters but i wanted a bit more of Patts ngl. Tian was played so well i cried and smiled with him

But it all went downhill with the double soulmate thibg because like why, to add conflict? There is enoygj potential for that jn the whole is this destiny or really love situation and i would have wanted to see the struggle of a soulmateless couple ( lomfon and tien) too, the way they resolved all that in the last eps was okay . But it felt like the acting part was being left aside for the story, i saw that especially in the confession scene of lomfon. His expression was ok but boy could have acted better.

And then what the heck was that last scene, was that really necessary, is there gonna be a second season if that mess.
Like why does tien need a soulmate, and if why another one, that just feels like the producer want to keep milking this concept because its pipular with the fans. Wicb u cant even say gor the ibternational fans.

Overall i liked the first eps after that it was a angering mess and the last ep made my blood boil witn the last scene. So take you bloodpressure meds kids and dig into this mess of a series if you want to.

I cant recommend or not recommend if to be fair.
