Fireworks of My Heart

drama notes:
Fireworks to your heart is not the easiest watch on first glance. The female lead is not readily likable, she’s very timid which makes it harder for her to make decisions on her own and she has very slow progression in character. Outside of the FL's personality and scheming family, I enjoyed the chemistry the leads provided and the relationships the two built with people outside of their dynamic. The medical scenes/fire fighting scenes are interesting/suspenseful so I can't say I felt bored at any time during my watch. There are many heartwarming and touching moments that overshadowed the conflict that I found with the female lead earlier on. I'd recommend as it does feel like a high quality drama despite the flaws.

How do I rate dramas?

i rate dramas by weighing pros + cons between the storytelling, visual fx, romantic feel + acting. My scale begins at 10 and will decrease depending on the number of cons vs pros.

10: A Cinematic Masterpiece	no drama is perfect but this one comes pretty close. this rating looks like a combination of intricate villains, beautiful OSTs, intriguing romance and enchanting storytelling.
9: Great	this drama was amazing, I share many of the characteristics of a score 10 but there was something amiss that made me a 9. -1
8: Very Good	i'm content with this drama, I'd recommend watching it and while I thought it was good, i missed a few points delivering the story. -2
7: Good/Enjoyable	this drama was satisfactory. I enjoyed watching it in a few areas but there were many things wrong. -3
6: Above Average/"Okay"	this drama had something special but it wasn't enough to score a higher rating. -4
*5: Totally Average:* Not Amazing, Not Horrible**	this drama was okay. i don't think i'd recommend it because it didn't have enough to keep me fully satisfied. -5
<4: Below Average/Dreadful	there's nothing interesting or exciting enough here. too many things done wrong but somehow i finished this. (all scores 1-4 = the same weight) -6-10
