I know I’m years late to this drama, but hopefully some people are still around to answer questions!

My first question is: How was Xuanji able to remove the Loveless Mask without lifting the curse? I don’t think that was ever explained. 

Second question, which perhaps has been deliberately left vague: Was Hao Chen actually in love with Xuanji/Luohou Jidu? And why did that love moon rock thing single them out as lovers?
