Love, Ramen, and Waltz

People, this episode was WEIRD and I'm not talking about that shower fight scene!

The hospital scene abruptly transitions into Not-Healer's clumsy revenge-epic-fail plan! (I can't help but ask how the hell did he escape Madam Evil's watchdogs?) Luckily but very confusingly, Not-Healer is saved from his own idiocy by Madam Evil who extends a friendly hand. In reality, she just played his worst fears, twisted his arm, and got him under her control. (I ask: What ever happened to Not-Healer's legendary backup e-mail?)

Anyhow, in case revenge-epic-fail didn't make you laugh, the show decided at this moment to become a comedy. Lonely Wolf Not-Healer becomes Madam Evil's newest dog. He decides to shower with Madam's older dogs and play with them. Oh, I almost forgot: he gets yet another alias: K2 (I ask: Will I ever learn the male lead's BIRTH NAME? I believe the writer didn't give him one because he is secretly an alien)

Anyhow, Not-Healer now K2 finds himself monitoring a hungry Anna. You know, Show, for a second you almost got me. The I-guide-you-even-when-you-don't-listen routine was cute, but then the show had another epilepsy and it suddenly transformed itself into a ramen commercial. Because how would love flourish if not for Bathrobe Girls dancing the waltz with ramen in the middle of the night?

On the other side, Madam evil stood strong in her political battles while her dear husband whored around ever so lovingly under her tenderly watching eyes. And, lo and behold everyone she shed tears. It seems there is some shred of a soul deep, deep, down inside that woman somewhere.

Best Scene of the episode: None. Honestly.

In short, it took The K2 four long gratuitous episodes to deliver its premise. Wowz. If this drama had any plot, now would be the time to use it, Writer-nim!

That shower fight . . .

That shower fight will go down in drama history! I laughed myself silly. While futilely trying to catch a peek. We all know they had coverage, the blur was a joke. -_^ Though I honestly think that that was the best fight scene yet.

So this show is super predictable. I've called everything. Not to mention that I'm so disappointed in the way Je Ha tried to take that guy out. It screamed causalities if one thing went wrong, or what if he went a different way from the beginning. So sloppy.

This episode showed the political rivals Madam and Gwan Soo facing off. I love that Se Joon was just picking up woman while the real war for the Blue House was going on. Wowza. No wonder this guy can't escape Madam's clutches!

It's nice to see something else from Anna. She's not crying. Maybe there will be a twist and she's playing them all? But I doubt the writer will step away from the damaged damsel thing. Though Je Ha is damaged too. They can heal each other, too sweet!

Looks like we might be seeing more of Anna finally and she may be more then just a side character. She may turn into a lead yet! (I won't congratulate her yet until it happens. The previews keep teasing us.) Overall I'm still waiting for the writing to do something interesting with the story and try not to carbon copy it's characters. Or cut and paste traits. The K2 is really predictable.

Decision time I've come up to episode 4. For my love of Ji Chang Wook I'll watch this, and for the fact that I've been anticipating this all year. After all nothing can flat line like The Doctors right? (Gosh, I hope I just didn't jinx me.) Also, there's plenty of promise and I'm way curious to see where the show will eventually go and end up.
