Horrible
I enjoy cheesy romance and all the cringey little things that come with it, but this one... oh my god, this one is beyond horrible. Predictable story line, horrible acting, horrible shallow writing with no thoughts behind all the horrible overused word choices.I was interested in this drama for the descriptions and the cover art. Honestly, knowing its a k-drama with that very typical description of the shallow power difference between the two main leads, my expectation is on the floor. I was ready for everything, really. I was just looking for ways to waste my free time.
Lo and behold, 7 episodes in, i just cannot continue anymore. Not even interested to know the ending from spoilers. I have forced myself to enjoy it but every minute of watching it is a torture. I feel like i have to dumb down myself to the level of an elementary school kid who has a hard time figuring out that 2+2 is 4. My god i wanted to throw up. This is just pure stupidity. Forget about morality talking, which is even horrible, but the writing.. i cannot. The "are you lost baby girl" line is pale in comparison to all the stupidity this drama has.
-10/10 because you will lose some braincells trying to convince yourself this drama is at least decent.

Tempted is a Dumpster Fire Show
This will be a review mostly discussing my take on the show - It will be a rant!!Honestly, I have never written a review on this website before but I feel like I have to talk about how much this drama pained me to watch. I really enjoyed the beginning, it was decent. Nothing too bad or good but I was hooked on the idea. However, as I continued watching through this show, it was getting worse by the episode and I only watched four of them! Really says a lot. The idea of this scandalous life between corporate heirs and families interested me but what made me turn my head against this show was the writing of the main female lead's writing. She was not introduced at all until everything began unfolding and how she was related to the story which is a terrible thing to do if you are writing ANYTHING. I'm not even that much of a critique in story writing but even I can tell when the character writing and timing is this bad. At first, I thought she was just a side character who was going to have MINIMUM relevancy to the story. This thought is for good reason though because the first time we see her is as an actual side character's friend. It really felt like a 'Y/N wattpad' moment as she got more involved in the story throughout the episodes. Apart from that, her character in general is absolute garbage. Her character is so plain and boring, there is nothing really that lets the audience relate to her in any way or even like. Because we never get this audience to character connecting introduction of the main character in the beginning of the show, I was rooting for the supposed rival character because she was introduced FIRST and had way more depth than that sorry main lead could ever have. In conclusion, this show disappointed me because I thought it was actually going to be something good but even I could write something better than this shitshow and the main male lead will probably end up with the plain-jane good-at-everything character rather than the girlboss. Actually, they should all end up with family therapy course sessions.

I didn't read the plot and thought Moon Ga Young was the FML. Because the first few episodes were mainly focused on those three friends. I mean I thought this drama was about friends who end up falling in love with each other (not gonna lie but I was hoping that there would be some kind of love triangle between the friends). So the overall point is: imma stop watching the drama and resume when I feel like it. I'm not tryna say it was bad I'm just saying it's good. But seeing how some reviews say that you get like mixed emotions watching it, I'll stop for now because I don't think my immature mind can take these emotions. Because if it makes me want another season ill be devastated (when I find out later) that there is no 2nd season imma lose my mind. Or (after finding out about the no second season) if it makes me feel like the ending wasn't satisfactory and end up having "After Drama Depression" then wishing I never resumed it. Then yeah I'll say that I would pretty much stop before I get too into it (yup I'm that kind of drama fan). So someone please reply to me if it's the type of drama that gives you After Drama Depression...Was this review helpful to you?

For ppl who love gossip girl and riverdale probably not bad
I didn't get super far into it before I dropped this. (I am very picky tho, and drop a lot of things quickly, so take that as you will.)Here are some of my observations along the way.
Pro:
- I really liked Moon Gayoung and Joy in this.
- I liked how much of a b*tch Suji was, but not only in a bad way. She stood up for her friends and for classmates. There was an altruism to he bitchiness. I liked it.
- I love the source material. I'm a big fan of Dangerous Liasons (the book) and I'm always happy to see new adaptations of it.
Con:
- After the fifth rich kid main character had a fight with their parents I thought it really was a bit much. Not a single one of them has a decent parent? Come on... Also, the reasons for which Suji hates her mother are unclear to me (maybe they're gonna be explained later on, but since for the others reasons were given immediately, I wasn't betting on it.)
- What happened between Suji and the art teacher was not quite clear to me. I seemed like he reciprocated her feelings (yikes) but then was found out and fired? That's how that scene read to me. But in that case I don't understand why Suji held a grudge against him for four years to the point where she wanted to humiliate him at the graduation ceremony...
- Taehee's fight with her mother was unrealistic to me. She seemed like a nice girl, so for her to confront her mother and kick her out of her life when she was clearly trying to make amends because her mother didn't much call when Taehee and her dad lived in Europe? It just felt psychologically unrealistic to me since Taehee wasn't otherwise shown as confrontational and also, that's just not how most children behave towards distant (but obviously well-meaning) parents. It felt like drama for the sake of drama.
- The mother who's a model seemed to have extremely low self-esteem for what she is. She looked really good, I didn't have a problem believing she was actually a model bc of that but instead to me the problem was her body language. She was slouching all the time, she cried in public, she was a doormat when others talked down to her. I just felt a supermodel (who's prob been in the industry for over 20 years at that point) would know better. But instead she was standing in front of a 20 year old, twiddling her thumbs, looking down at her own feet, slouching, while whining to him how her daughter doesn't love her. Just very weird acting choice. Or maybe directorial vision? I don't know.
- Speaking of the model mama: All the age gap relationships (and non-relationships) made me a little uncomfy. Especially since so far into the story nobody even acknowledged that they're weird.
Neutral:
- It felt kinda steamy for a kdrama, which in turn made it feel kinda like an american show like gossip girl or riverdale (hence the comparison in the title). I don't think this is neither good nor bad so I gave it it's own category :)
Overall I did enjoy this show, but the drama felt too unrealistic and forced for me to continue. Would love to see Suji take revenge on even more people tho, so who knows, I might actually pick it up again at some point.
And that's my two cents!

Nie czytałam oryginału, więc obędzie się niestety bez porównań.Fabuła "Wspaniałego Uwodziciela" zaczyna się od zapoznania nas z trójką głównych bohaterów.
Pięknej narcystycznej wiolonczelistki Soo Ji, "sexmaniaka" Se Joo (choć co on miał wspólnego z tym przydomkiem to ja nie wiem, gdyż nie spotkamy się ani razu z jego rzekomymi podbojami łóżkowymi) oraz przeprzystojnego podrywacza vel łamacza damskich serc Si Hyuna. Ich życie toczy się teoretycznie w przyziemny sposób jak na chaebolowskie dzieci przystało - szkoła, rodzice, wymagania, problemy i ich miłostki. Rutynę licealnego życia niejednokrotnie przełamują dokonując podbojów towarzyskich, pewni swojego nieodpartego uroku oraz splendoru popularności jaki nad nimi wisi. Se Joo jak Si Hyun uchodzą wręcz za mistrzów podrywu któremu nie oprze się dosłownie żadne zniewieściałe serduszko. Życie toczy się idealnie, dopóki....
Soo Ji zostaje odrzucona i sponiewierana przez narzeczonego (Yi Kyung). Sprowokowana upokarzającą sytuacją postanawia dokonać sowitej zemsty w "ich stylu" i podczas jednej z przyjęć biznesowych poznaje Tae Hee - pierwszą miłość Yi Kyunga. Trzej muszkieterowie rozpisują solidny plan podrywu do którego wyznaczony zostaje Si Hyun, celem rozkochania sobie do szaleństwa niczego nie spodziewającą się Tae Hee. Dalej domyślcie się co poszło nie tak.
Powiem szczerze, że pomysł może nie górnych lotów ale bardzo mi się spodobał. Od razu dawał poczucie jakiegoś dobrze rokującego romansu no i ta okładka...mmmm
Jak z jakiegoś dobrego poradnika do podrywu dla facetów. Chyba za dużo mi się w głowie zaprojektowało co mogłoby dobrego z tego wyjść ale z początku nie miałam w zasadzie uprzedzeń chociaż aktorstwo już na starcie kulało. I nie tylko przez samą Joy w roli Tae Hee. Postać Hye Jung i wielu innych ról drugoplanowych miało najwyraźniej robić za jakieś dopełniające fabułę tło.
W każdym razie..
Główny wątek Great Seducera zostaje solidnie doprawiony innymi melodramatami. Mamy nieodwzajemnioną miłość Se Joo, konflikty w przyjaźni, miłości rodziców te ukryte i te jawne, jakieś przeszłę wypadki i zbrodnie no i oczywiście znalazło się też miejsce na raka mózgu! :D Póki prym na ekranie wiódł miłosny podbój na Tae Hee było ciekawie, ale im bardziej lub im częściej pojawiały się momenty z postaciami drugoplanowymi i ich problemami tylekroć wszystko nagle w moim mniemaniu zwalniało. Może to też dlatego, że większość wątków dramatycznych strasznie tutaj hiperbolizowano w odczuwaniu. Ileż można rozwodzić się nad wzdychaniami matki Soo Ji, czy też samej Soo Ji jej depresyjnych momentów. Ileż ojca Si Hyuna który wlókł się potajemnie jak zbity pies za swoją ex miłością - ku ironii matce Tae Hee. Cały ten nieszczęśliwy czworokąt )bo liczmy jeszcze ojca Tae Hee) zjadł chyba 1/3 czasu emisyjnego a i tak nic konkretnego poza ubolewaniem z tego nie wyszło. Jeszcze lepszy w tragedii był tylko wypadek samochodowy Tae Hee który był zaledwie draśnięciem jej na poboczu a przeżywano go jakby co najmniej Tae Hee przefrunęła po nim gdzieś w śmiercionośne zaspy.
W moim odczuciu jeden melodramat, wręcz makjang.
Nie znajdziecie tu na pewno coś czym może tytuł lub okładka trąci czyli chociażby jakiś pocałunków, głębszych podrywów czy Broń Boże czegoś więcej. Pan główny podrywacz zaledwie raz pocałował swoją ofiarę i na tym jego specjalności się skończyły, o Se Joo to nawet nie wspomnę. To wszystko ironizuje cały zamysł fabularny, w wielu wątkach wręcz parodiuje. Po połowie już stracił wszelkie nadzieje. Resztę chciałam wytrwać dla samego zaliczenia..
Aktorstwo jak mówiłam słabe, a muzyka w ogóle nie zapada w pamięć, jakby jej nie było. Pamiętam że jakieś smęty leciały przy rozterkach sercowych. Zakończenie jak mam być szczera mnie przybiło. Happy end bez głębszego wytłumaczenia, po prostu para bez siebie nie mogła wytrzymać no i musieli się spiknąć po 5latach. Cóż.
Nie dziwię się ocenom że było słabo, aczkolwiek nie mam powodu strzelać piorunami w ten tytuł. Ktoś miał ochotę sklecić coś ciekawego z zapewne słynnego tytułu no i mamy co mamy. Próbujcie, ale wiele nie oczekujcie :)

Deve ser a primeira vez desde que eu comecei a me aprofundar em dramas coreanos que eu conheço boa parte do elenco principal. Felizmente, eles não desapontaram - Por mais que algumas pessoas tenham criticado bastante a atuação da Joy, não vi nada que justificasse; Mas opiniões são opiniões, certo? -, minha alegria de ver Woo Dohwan, Kim Minjae e Moon Gayoung no mesmo lugar ainda supera qualquer coisa.
Mas, vamos ao plot: Por incrível que pareça, ele em si não foi o que me chamou mais atenção no início, até porque eu não soube dizer quão densa a história iria ser. Mas toda essa história de vingança e crianças inconsequentes normalmente me atrai, então eu sabia que não iria me desapontar. O problema foi que as coisas começaram a ficar absurdamente densas em certo ponto, tanto que eu tive que pausar minha maratona e começar a assistir outra coisa mais leve - mesmo que eu odeie interromper dramas pela metade. Esse foi sim um problema para mim, mas nada muito grave.
Se me pedissem para analisar as cores desse drama, eu diria que ele começa com tons de vinho, cheio daquele sentimento de vingança e ódio adolescente, romances mal resolvidos e inveja. Depois tudo fica rosa com tons de amarelo, quando o casal principal vai se envolvendo, começam a se gostar, mas ainda tem aquele sentimento de culpa de que algo pode dar errado a qualquer momento. Depois, tudo fica roxo, eles começam a chorar e entrar em desespero, quem tá assistindo se sente sufocado porque sabe que as coisas ruins tão muito perto de acontecer, você fica angustiado mas não consegue parar de ver porque sabe que algo horrível vai acontecer! Dai eles choram mais um pouco, tudo fica azul escuro, triste, todo mundo fica sozinho e o drama termina de uma forma bem clichê, mas que eu não esperava que fosse diferente.
Num geral, o drama é como uma montanha-russa. Eu não sei dizer se amei ou odiei, eu não sei quantas estrelas dar pra ele porque tudo aconteceu de forma muito arrastada, porém foi incrível ao mesmo tempo! Tem várias cenas bem fofas, outras muito tristes, alguns plot twists que me fizeram rir um pouco porque eu me senti vendo uma novela mexicana (Joaquim, o motorista do seu pai na verdade foi amante da minha mãe, e a sua namorada é minha meia irmã, como você pode matá-la?), mas não tem como eu dizer que não gostei de assistir. Foi uma experiência confusa e maravilhosa, não posso deixar de recomendar ele.
Até porque, quem viu Save Me sabe como o Dohwan sofreu pela crush, pelo menos nessa história o amor dele é correspondido - Por mais complicado que isso tenha sido.

Des liaisons d'enfants capricieux
J'ai oublié le jour où j'ai entamé mon visionnage de Tempted. Il remonte à un moment où il était encore disponible sur Netflix. Depuis, les droits d'exploitation ont expiré c'est pour dire...Pendant mon visionnage, je ne pouvais pas m'empêcher de voir trois enfants jouer aux grands. Un trio (très intéressant) qui s'amusent comme des adultes, mais ils n'ont absolument pas conscience de ce qu'ils font, parce qu'ils savent qu'en retour il suffira de quelques larmes pour tout pardonner. Briser des cœurs, des couples, des mariages ? Quelle importance tant que ça nous amuse... Rien qu'avec cette vision, le scénario risquait de ne pas fonctionner à mes yeux. Et c'est ce qui est arrivé.
Parce que "Les Liaisons Dangereuses" c'est vieux. C'est difficile de l'adapter ou de s'inspirer même librement d'une telle œuvre, car sacrément problématique dans ses grandes lignes. Bien que Saito Chiho l'ait bien adapté dans son manga, à l'écran c'est une autre paire de manche. Surtout avec un casting comme celui-ci dont une idole d'un groupe populaire.
Le trio (Kwon Shi Hyun, Lee Se Ju et Choi Su Ji) est la pièce principale. On arrive plus ou moins à saisir l'amitié entre eux. En y réfléchissant davantage, on peut même y voir une forme d'amour. Pourtant, ils ressemblent plus à un trouple toxique les uns pour les autres qu'à trois amis.
Cependant, on ne peut enlever les performances de chacun qui sont excellentes. Bien que leurs personnages soient moyens, chacun tient son rôle et arrive à lui donner quelque chose.
Du côté de Joy, je ne lui ai trouvé aucun intérêt - que ce soit son personnage d'une fadeur totale que sa performance d'actrice qui n'a rien de satisfaisante (et qui se confirmera dans ses deux projets suivants).
Je me dois aussi de mentionner qu'en temps normal, on trouve une forme de punition envers les personnages. Parce que le spectateur aussi espère avoir une forme de satisfaction, une justice. Tempted semble délaisser ce point et je pense sincèrement que c'est une raison supplémentaire pour moi de ne pas l'apprécier plus que ça.
Le problème de Tempted, c'est de prétendre s'inspirer des Liaisons Dangereuses, mais on ne trouve rien qui puisse réellement donner cette impression. On s'approche plus de "Sexe Intentions" de 1999.
En revanche (et c'est à mes yeux ce qui sauve le drama en lui-même), la bande originale est excellente, l'image nette et le montage correct. Et le trio qui, malgré son côté détestable, voit trois acteurs briller dans leurs rôles.

¡Bienvenidos nuevamente a mi charla incesante sobre Woo Do Hwan y todo lo que hace! En el episodio de hoy les traigo Tempted o The Great Seducer (que está basado en el mismo libro que Cruel Intentions, les aviso desde ahora por si es que llegan a ver el parecido).La trama sigue a un trío de amigos con mucho dinero y desbordante estilo. Ellos se relacionan, hablan de sus conquistas y no dejan que nadie los pisotee. Las cosas se complican cuando, por cosas de la vida, Soo Ji (Moon Ga Young) hace una apuesta con Kwon Shi Hyun (Woo Do Hwan): él debe seducir a Eun Tae Hee (Joy), una chica que Soo Ji toma como objeto de venganza, para luego dejarla y de esa forma destruirla.
Para empezar debo decir que sorprendentemente disfruté mucho este kdrama (sobre todo durante la primera mitad). Hay muchísimo drama en todos los capítulos, los personajes son muy extra, el trío principal es una locura (por favor, dejo que me hagan lo que quieran, son FA-BU-LO-SOS) y en general todo este "juego de seducción" que se plantea se me hizo muy interesante y algo fuera de lo común en las series coreanas. Encima los actores que interpretan a los tres amigos no podrían estar mejor elegidos.
Además los capítulos se pasan volando, eso es lo bueno de que duren solo media hora (a pesar de que, siendo 32, es como ver un dorama típico de 16 episodios).
Todo el tiempo están pasando cosas, hay muchos personajes secundarios interesantes y los besos que protagoniza Woo Do Hwan te dan ganas de verlos una y otra vez sin parar.
Pero no todo es bueno (lamentablemente casi nunca lo es)...
Durante los primeros 5/6 capítulos estuve muy perdida. Son muchos personajes, demasiados nombres y bastantes conflictos juntos. De hecho, tuve que recurrir a leer un recap para sacarme algunas dudas.
Otra cosa que no me terminó de cerrar fue Joy. No es una mala actriz, pero queda muuuy opacada por los demás.
Y por último, desde la mitad en adelante, la esencia inicial de la serie se va perdiendo hasta convertirse en un kdrama cliché más (con final predecible incluido).
En definitiva, una serie entretenida que les recomiendo más que nada por el trío principal (y por si buscan drama del bueno jaja).

Solo voy hacer una pequeña reseña, para ver si para alguien es útil.Solo dire que vi estos serie por Woo Do Hwan, y disfrute mucho viéndolo, no se si la hubiera disfrutado si no fuera él.
Lo mas importante a comentar es que el guión es muy ambicioso y les costo mucho lograr que el desarrollo tuviera l+ogica creo que lograron llegar al final con lógica, pero no me convenció.
Lo amigos rebelde, ricos que hacen los que le da la gana, eran super tóxicos, especialmente Choi Soo Ji, logro que la odiáramos desde el principio, no se si actuaba bien solo se que no la soportaba, y eso dice que hace bien su papeles, de niña mimada y malcriada. Para ba las escenas, para contar hasta 100 con sus berrinches.
Los juegos perversos a que apuntaba el grupito era mucho más arriba de la censura televisiva, haciendo que no se mostrara nada y todo quedo a algo muy superficial.
Por qué digo que es ambiciosa la historia? es porque crearon un conflicto inicial tan complejo y tóxico que salir de ahí no es fácil, yo jamas perdonaría esos juegos perversos, así que la manera de lograr que la pareja quede junta de manera natural no era tarea fácil. Hicieron que se volvieran a juntar 5 minutos antes del final de la serie. Eso me decepciono mucho. Ademas de la resolución del resto de los personajes fue muy simplista.
Si a pesar de lo que digo quieren disfrutar a Do Hwan, Se las recomiendo, él sale muy encantador.
