Extremely Short !!

This was a really short series of 5 different couples.

First Couple : Though I do love this couple Off / Gun, this story showed that one can not judge a person not unless you have walked in his/her shoes. And this specific episode, took it in the literal sense which made them both appreciate the sacrifices they had to make just for the other.

Second Couple: This showed never wait to long to profess your love, or if you have feelings for someone to express them, instead of keeping them in. For me this was an okay kind of couple.

Third Couple : I truly did not enjoy this short story, mainly because the cast didn't seem quite right, I did like all the supporting crew but the main could just didn't quite fit for each other, also the game they played was really childish especially since they have been in a relationship for three years already.

Fourth Couple: This was my absolute favorite couple of all time, these two showed us, that we should take each other for granted, and just because we are together you tend to let the love slide or get in a comfort zone, and take each other for granted. I like how Kao came up with some of the ideas, even he did lie to start off, but a little white lie to spend time with your love i could possibly let that slide.

Fifth Couple: Again this was not really my favorite, since i did find it hard to finish Sotus to start off with. however, this couple did show us that is meant to be will be and nothing can be forced.

Each of these couple showed us little things we take for granted in life or even in our relationships.
The acting of each of these couples were okay for me, nothing to great or fantastic but nothing bad either.

Overall: its a quick set of short stories and a good reminder to life every day challenges.

I loved seeing my favorite BL couples, I think it's an amazing idea to bring them all together in one series - especially those who weren't main couples in their series. They definitely deserve it and I'm ecstatic to see them again.

However, even though I understand the concept of the series, I wish it offered more for each of the couples. Just the one episode per couple was not enough time to satisfy my desire to see their relationship develop as was "promised" in their respected prequels. In some cases, it looked like their relationship I've also felt the themes of the episodes sometimes don't really fit the couples (like body swapping as a continuation of what was supposed to be realistic series).

Ep. 5 was quite different though, as I've felt it was a realistic continuation of Arthit's and Kongpop's relationship. Arthit is by far my favorite tsundere uke ever <3

I'd be happy to see a second season.

I really loved this concept. Makes you want more of all actors. They were so good in it all. Side stories for all of them was really nice. It brought everything together for each couple. In its own way. Wish we could see more like this so we could see the couples more. Maybe they will do more stores with the same ones out with new couples. I know it would be enjoyable. Made me cry a bit. Nice to see both perspectives of the couples stores. Want more. All of the were great. Wish we couple really see them this way.

Epic crossover! Every episode is simply breathtaking. Al the way connecting to each wonderful history of those lovely couples. Pick and Rome (from Theory of Love); In and Sun (from My Dear Loser Series); Mork and Tee (from Strangers in Love); Pete and Kao (from Kiss Me Again Series) & finally Kong and P Arthit (from Sotus).
It begin telling the history in a fantasy way, very superstitious then it will get trough difficulties, desires, love and stay strong while been honest and vulnerable.
I just cry as a baby in the last episode, Kong and P´Arthit. THe very most melancholic and meaningfully for the dramatic but positive end.

All of them was really good. The one that surprised me the most was the "my tee" story. Even though some considered the series one of the weaker ones. Their story on this series was the best to me. Pete and kao always makes me laugh with the bickering. Kong and arhit with the shyness. I do truly hope all of them get more one shots or more seasons of their shows. Gmmtv please give us more lol..............................................

Best Anthology Series Ever

Absolutely loved 4 out of the 5 couple episodes (Sotus and Sotus S was never my favourite BL drama or main lead couple were so toxic, I'm actually glad that they are separating, cos baby you can do so much better, run and run fast)
The 5 pillars of GMMTV of the 2015-2017 truly showed us why they belonged to be on top of the Industry.
I've seen this series getting a lot of hate from those that are coming into in the modern era (2022-2023), but you need to put yourself back in 2015-2017 time of BL's when these couples were the peak couples of time.
Being Polca Taynew, FrankDrake and PluemChimon are always going to be my favourite as I am bias, however I was a huge fan of Puppy Honey series and OffGun being able to switch personas and make us still feel that they are the characters just shows the true talent of OffGun's acting and Chemistry.
I loved all the side characters for every episode and my heart will always be with PeteKao and TayNew showed us why then and still now they will always have our hearts with being able to bring the characters of PeteKao to life even after a break and then DBK came, and they were able to go back into the roles once again to give us perfection.
P'Aof did a fantastic job at directing and producing and continued storylines from the original series that made sense and were related to the actual series and able to give us a "happy ending" for all couples even if we didn't get new Seasons, it was enough to close off an say goodbye to these much-cherished characters.
My Individual Score for each episode was:
1. 5/10
2.10/10
3. 9/10
4.10/10
5. 2/10

Old friends never fade

I watched this drama as a conclusion to my vintage-binge. This is a compilation of 5 stories bringing the series of 5 couples to finalization.

1. Pick & Rome
This was a weird experience. Body-switches are not my favorite trope and this drama proves why. Although I love this couple to death, the switch doesn't work for me. I just wanted to change them back to normal.

In & Sun
To be honest, I had almost forgotten this couple, although I had seen the original series only weeks before, They did not waste time to suck me back into the story, though. If I were to rewatch this, it will be because of these two! Shout out to Mike, who was brilliant as ever.

Tee & Mork
I was never a fan of Drake, but he grew on me in this ep. Great chemistry between Frank & Drake.

Pete & Kao
This one was fun. These two would do anything for each other and that's exactly what they do. Endearing, cute and hilarious.

Kongpob & Arthit
I watched Sotus and Sotus S as one of my first BL's and I am ambiguous about it, just as I am about this ep. Some scenes the chemistry is amazing, other times Krist looks like he doesn't want to be there.

Pete & Kao and Kongpob & Arthit

I only watched the last two episodes, so the Dark Blue Kiss (Pete & Kao) and the SOTUS / SOTUS S (Kongpob & Arthit) ones. I haven’t watched other series so I didn’t really want to watch the rest of the episodes. My scoring is based only on the two episodes I have seen. I might edit review later if I watch any other episodes.

Dark Blue Kiss (overall rating: 8.5)
The two are still adorable together! I didn’t expect Kao to be the clingy one this time around, but it was definitely fun to see. Pete is still as hot headed as always, but there is also nothing he wouldn’t do for his boyfriend. Their chemistry is amazing! I feel Tay and New really bring the two characters to life, especially as they tend to bicker and play around a lot in real life as well. Some scenes feel more like watching Tay and New than watching Pete and Kao. The plot was cute and simple, it also didn’t feel too rushed. Which is great, considering it was only one episode.

SOTUS / SUTOS S (overall rating: 6.0)
The story does continue from where it was left in the main two series, but considering everything they wanted to include, it felt incredibly rushed. They tried to squeeze in the month that Kongpob had to get ready to leave, the two years he was gone and their life together after his return. It was just not enough time to do those things well. I love Kongpog and Arthit, but the two of them really don’t feel like a long-term couple. Most of the time, they feel like they just started dating. I feel there was a bit of in improvement from SOTUS S to Our Skyy episodes though, which was nice to see.

I liked the OSTs, the locations were beautiful as well.

Watched PeteKao's episode after watching the three-part PeteKao/Kiss Me Againi cut on GMMTV's YouTube channel in preparation for Dark Blue Kiss. Their relationships was nice though it seemed like Pete accepted his feelings for Kao a bit too quickly. He didn't seem to struggle (at least from the scenes that I saw, he may have actually struggled but GMMTV didn't include those scenes). I really liked how supportive the father was, which was unexpected coming from someone who seemed strict and traditionalist like him. Their Our Skyy episode was a little adventure though I found it to be dull and aimless. It didn't really progress or add anything their relationship, other than highlight that they argue a lot, which is kinda ironic because apparently the BL actors, TayNew, also argue a lot too.

Kongpob and Arthit's episode: It was cool seeing an extension of their story where Kongpob pursues his desire to get a master's in what he actually wanted to study overseas and Arthit's fears about having to break up with him. My only criticism is that they time jump in the end and make the two years seem like a week, but of course, it makes sense to end it on a happy reunion rather than an uncertain future. I hope that there will be a SOTUS O where they can focus on coming out to the family and getting married! That would be awesome! And then a SOTUS T where they have their own family, etc. That would be awesome growing old with the characters though I doubt that that would happen.

does anybody know what are the songs that they sang to each other at night in their tour? Sun and In are so cute together, I hope for their own series. And i'll do my best to support them when that happened.

Episode 2 shows that you should not wait for a potential rival to profess your love to someone. If you feel it, say it, show it and be true to what you feel.

and to be honest the only episode i want yo watch is episode 2.

I have this sense of accomplishment, a closure if I may say so, as far as their respective relationships is concern and it is hard to see if it is going to anything else other than how each episode ended. What I am trying to say, it is the end of the road for their relationships as it ended happily.

Super Cute

Only watched episode 4 for PeteKao. Maybe I'll finish the other episodes if I watch their respective series.

First of all, I really love how much more assured Kao is, both in the way he carries himself and the way he shows affection towards Pete. In most of Dark Blue Kiss, he's very shy even when alone with Pete (save the end). Now Kao shows affection in public in ways even Pete finds embarrassing. Or maybe Pete's just sulky. Anyway, it's really cute. Second, while Kao deceiving Pete to spend the day with him is funny and rather cute, it's not believable since Pete obviously had the day reserved for Kao anyway. Pete guessed the truth mid-way as well. Also, Kao promised Pete not to lie way back in DBK; he should've learnt his lesson. Third, the beat-up-then-patch-up trope is SO overdone in every BL drama. It's overdone in the KISS prequels, sequels and spin-offs already. Please give it a rest.
