Season: 1

The story begins in 1989. The palace is full of activity in the middle of the night, luckily, it's not a war which started as was feared; it is another important historical event which took place. During an incident which takes place in the Crown Prince's school, we get a glimpse of our antagonist. This short stay in the past also shows us the difference in personalities and ideals between the future king (Lee Jae Gang) and his younger brother, the prince, who is the main lead. After the time jump, we see the boys are all grown up and Lee Jae Ha, is still the same (personality-wise), if not worse. We are also told about the King's dream of unity between the two Koreas, which is the agenda behind their collaboration in the WOC competition. The episode also shows Kim Hang Ah (Ha Ji Won), as a strong and deathly North Korean soldier, who has a girly softer side. The main leads meet. The episode ends with a powerful scene...

Four Stars

Ahaha I know she's lying to discipline him because since Jae Ha doesn't actually do anything useful in his country, he'd be such a waste of a political assassination...

Relatively boring beginning

It was a bit boring for a first episode. I'm going to continue it for one more episode, if it doesn't pick up then I will probably drop it. I'm also disappointed that Lee Seung Gi has the same generally wimpy/pathetic role he played in My Girlfriend is a Gumiho.

Interesting

The beginning started off a little slow, but it finally picked up at the end.

I get the tension in the room, how could their not be. So I'm glad they aren't making everything wine and roses with the WOC.

My only issue I have with the group is Lee Jae Ha and the fact that he feels he needs to provoke every chance he gets. Hopefully that is something he won't feel the need to keep doing as the series continues.

I loved Kim Hang Ah's reaction when they were on the bus driving through Seoul upon seeing all the actors on the billboards. It gave her character a cuteness factor that will work great with her gruff exterior.

Seems interesting..

I started to watch it because it seemed like it would be worth it as many people are watching it and haven't dropped it or anything.
It was interesting enough for not dropping it and the last scene really was powerful. I'm just a bit confused why she acted at the end as she did. I guess the next episode will answer that question.

Intriguing

The beginning was a bit slow and boring for me but there's something that kept me watching and towards the end of this episode the story finally began to pick up. I have high hopes that the writers will build a strong story and I have no doubt that the leads will pull off their characters flawlessly. I look forward to the next episode.

GREAT start

I loved the way this show started, it was really strong! I think that for once I'll watch this mainly for the female lead because I love how Ha Ji Won is pulling off her character, specially her accent!

Might be a keeper...

I have to admit the drama, had a very strong start. The only problem I have with it, so far, is Lee Seung Ki playing the same character he always does. But I feel Ha Ji Won will serve as the perfect buffer. Of course this is, if her character remains as badass as she was in this episode. I loved her scenes . And I especially loved the ending scene, which is what I had been wanting to do myself since the very first scene oorie main lead actor appeared.

Promising

This drama had a great first episode. Even if in the beggining, I thought it's a bit boring, it turned out to be pretty interesting until the end. And the window scene was wonderful, I loved it!
I like Ha Ji Won's character a lot :D.
