December 1999, a Tokyo trading company springs up in cheer. The Japanese Shinkansen has won preferential negotiation rights for the Taiwan High Speed Rail. Haruka, who is in her fourth year with the company, is sent to Taiwan as a member of the project. Haruka has said members of her previous time in Taiwan in which she met a man named Eric. The two spent only a day together but she could never contact him again after that.
