Midori invites Onozuka to a give a lecture on medication compliance to the elderly Aihara. They are startled when Ogawa Sanae collapses in front of them. Ogawa is admitted to the hospital due to her poor physical condition, the cause of which is unclear. The next day, Kariya is giving outpatient advice to patients and Kurumi who is watching finds out about Kariya's past job working for a major dispensing company. The mystery though, is what caused Kariya to leave it. Nanao suspects that Ogawa is the carrier of a multi-drug resistant bacteria. When Kurumi finds out that the drug used to treat Ogawa isn't working from Nanao, she does not tell Midori.
