They are taken to the tower again, where Jiu Shi falls into another trance, and Xu Jin goes after him. Lan Zhu makes a desperate attempt to wake Jiu Shi from his trance and Xu Jin disappears. The next day, Li Dong Yuan finds Xu Jin, and they take her to the pavilion so that she can meet her older sister, who has been searching for her.
