A really good start!

A lot of dramas start with a messy 1st ep or things are too forced, but here i liked that the pace was already there. It was very funny although there are serious matters (crimes, corruption, etc). There are also uncommon and current subjects like divorce, the female lead is trying hard to get free, we learn more how those things worked back then since it's rarely talked about in other historical dramas.I think i started to get bored by the too serious historical dramas, if you're feeling the same, this one will feel fresh!

Comedy at its finest in Joseon Era

OMG!!!!!! Couldn't stop laying my ass off. Although this is a historical drama about Joseon period, it is so different from the rest cause it's actually comical. Like I've watched a lot of historical dramas and yes some do have a certain level of comedy while others don't. but this is just down right laughter. Because unlike other dramas set in this time period I don't think the topics we'd see in other dramas that have a heavy weight and have you on the edge applies to this particular drama. Yes ep 1 ended with a death scene yet it didn't really leave me speechless like others would. I like the pd-nim's and writer's were really going for a light-hearted comedic theme. Especially with Ra Yi Eon blatantly refusing to fufill his inspector duties yet his itchiness to find out what is going on, his response to si9tuations in the drama really has me laughing and enjoying it
