11th year of Taisho. Meiko is 17 years old. Her grandmother's died, but Western restaurant of Daigo and Iku is doing well. As always, eating and being tall are the only worries of Meiko. She lives a carefree schoolgirl life with her bestfriends Sakurako and Tamiko. One day, at a cafe, Meiko spits fresh cream on a Teidai student's clothes. She tries to wipe it in haste, but she is has been argued by a tall university student who refused to let her wipe the cream at the Osaka dialect.
