GOOD Mini-Dramas!

One of the few that I can rewatch, and it's also on the list of my *regular* drama favourites!

Mr. & Mrs. Smith in ancient China!!!

One of the most butterfly-in-the-stomach inducing 15 minutes of my drama-watching life!

The best Korean GL. Still waiting for something to top it!!

Killer chemistry, good story, memorable characters (including the antagonists), great production.

From the same creators as The Killer Is Also Romantic.

"Villain" leads in a Chinese drama, what more do you want? :D 

But also great visuals and a concrete story with no fillers!

My first costume GL, so it holds a special place in my heart! 

Classic opposites attract, typical wuxia themes, time travel/transmigration, but with a HE. Let's not pretend this is deep, but it was a good labour of love attempt that opened the doors for many of its kind (also, Wang Lao Ji ftw)!

The next Wang Lao Ji-led costume GL project after Yun Qian. 

In this one, the plot gets thicker and thicker (and it has a great supernatural almost-creepy vibe to it at times), and it got successful enough that it was actually followed by a modern-day spin-off and a second season (in which there were plenty of plot twists you wouldn't expect)!

Gender role reversal, Actual Sci-Fi, concrete plot (if not without some plot holes), social commentary, good chemistry (the leads were dating at the time), badass FL, laugh-out-loud comedy/parody!

Unique theme and setting!

Kick-ass female lead, jianghu setting, assassins, hidden identities... my kind of things! Also, since this is so short, no fillers. 

And Yang Yi Mo. I mean, look at her!

Yang Yi Mo. Villain, half-crazy leads. Killer chemistry. Kind of Shakespearean tragedy/karma. Great visuals.

Gender role reversal, kind of. Great chemistry, and a badass female lead in leader position "above" the ML.

Badass FL leader of the "demonic" sect. Hidden identities & heart-breaking love-triangles. Multiple life-times/reincarnations. All the things you love (and possibly hate) in a xianxia, but without the non-ending fillers & side-characters' stories.

Yang Yi Mo in a leader position in a historical time-travel palace drama, but GL!

Overall good production, a kind of atypical palace drama with a strong FL in a leader position, a great progression in the romance department, some mystery & plot twists, and some really funny moments, too.

Japanese and their cute slice-of-life healing food dramas! :) This one has a gay male lead, too!

 On the plus points that they provide a recipe for each episode's dessert! I wouldn't mind another 10 episodes of it.
