FL's best friend uses a wheelchair. ML's best friend is developmentally delayed. ML has chronic pain and leg problems due to a leg injury but this seems to be less realistically handled than the other two.

FL is visually impaired, and lot of attention is given to how she would realistically navigate life.  There are educational segments each episode led by a real-life blind comedian explaining various tools she's using or situations she's encountering.

Blind ML (handled probably less than realistically as he seems to be beyond perceptive of his surroundings sometimes)

ML uses a leg brace for an undisclosed condition.  However, the brace breaks about a third of the way in, and he just limps along the rest of the time and is never like, "Hey, I need to make a new leg brace" even though he's surrounded by plenty of the same natural materials the original brace appeared to be made of.  (Also the limp seems to disappear during a climactic moment, but it does reappear again later.)

FL is autistic

ML (Kohei) is Hard of Hearing and uses a hearing aid.

FL has cerebral palsy and is played by an actress with cerebral palsy.

One ML has a permanent leg injury, which cramps up often and keeps him from being an athlete.

FL's best friend uses a wheelchair (but has limited screen time)

Supporting character's mother is deaf and mute and communicates using sign language.  He communicates with her by signing but also speaking out loud at the same time for some reason.

One ML's mother is a wheelchair user.

SFL is visually impaired.

Secondary character uses a wheelchair and has seizures.

ML's sister is hearing impaired and uses sign language.  He, their entire family, her boyfriend, and the FL use sign language to communicate with her.

ML's grandfather who lives with him has some form of dementia.
