In this episode, we see how the village lived before the annual trek to the summer pastures. Wenxiu thought she could work for her mom to recover outstanding debts from the villagers, but her lack of understanding and diplomacy made her unintentionally offend Sulitan's family. The episode shows the difficulty at inter communication but also the goodwill of the herder community, and in this episode, Wenxiu notices Batai who helps her understand more about the herder customs.

Qian Heng is puzzled that his insomnia returns, fouling his mood. He is not as stone hearted as he looks like : after torturing the little mouse by sending her on an errand in the pouring rain, and having found out that she has no room of her own yet, he agrees to drive her to the apartment so she can get a hot shower since the office facilities are experiencing power failure. He is rewarded with another sound sleep, while Cheng Yao cooks and hums a lullaby.The "Demon master" trope and cohabitation + insomnia are now setting the path toward a slow thawing up in the contractual and non romantic relationship between the lawyer and the spunky girl who does not let hardship get to her, but takes her boss' steely resolve about work ethics, and disregard of the hate that targets him, as her compass to realize her own ideals. He made clear he only wants her to be good at her work, not to be a serving maid or a copy clerk in the office, and she appreciates that: he is not one who will force alcohol and lecherous advances on her, like in her previous job.

Qian Heng and young Cheng Yao compete to rent an apartment! He is amused by her pretense in front of the owner, that she is well liked by her boss, not knowing that he, Qian Heng, is her boss. When she realizes her blunder, she vows to be exemplary at her work. But curiosity takes over and she is punished... It starts with a comedic atmosphere as cohabitation trope, but of course, the cold lawyer's interest has been awakened. He is known as "a demon", firing all who don't meet up to his standards, feared by all except for his partner founder, harsh and unforgiving to his employees. As for Cheng Yao, she does not want to be a mere servant and underling, but she knows she needs to hold on and learn the ropes to establish herself in the lawyers office.

The moment when Qi Pa and Kui Mulang listen to the magpie chirping (yes they can imitate songbirds!) is so sweet. They look like enraptured and thinking about the famous legend about the Cowherd and the Weaver Girl, a mortal and an immortal princess who got separated by the cruel Heavens but for whom the clever birds flock to form a bridge across the galaxy, so they can reunite yearly once, at least. This episode is one of the best!

It is about training as personnel, pilots, attendants, ground staff, and about management of a fictitious airline company modeled on Xiamen airlines (so there are some iconic views of the twin towers built like giant surfboards). The last episodes are a thinly veiled pageant for the new C919 passenger aircraft that flew its maiden flight end of December 2022 and is already sold to several domestic airlines in China.Seven Tan Songyun is, as expected, totally likeable here, despite her short stature. Wang Kai, although mostly poker faced, is a good ML. Other actors and actresses pulled out excellent portrayals.It is well worth watching.
