Amatsu Bin

- Died: July 24, 1979
After graduating from Miyagi Normal School, he started teaching. During the war, he served as a child soldier instructor in the Marine Corps.
He got married in 1944, adopted his son-in-law, and changed his family name to Amatsu. After the war, he left his teaching job and helped his wife's parents' factory in Kamakura.
In 1953, when he settled in Kamakura, he entered the film world at the age of 32. Although he only played small roles in the works of Tokyo Film Production, he passed the audition for TBS in 1955 and began appearing in live period dramas in the early days of television.
In June 1979, he suffered a cerebral hemorrhage and died of heart failure on July 24th. He died at the age of 58.
