In 1926, he joined the Shochiku Kamata Film Studio. In 1927, he made his debut as a screenwriter with the original script "Dochu Sugoroku Kago." In 1928, he transferred to the Kawai Film Production Company in Sugamo, Tokyo, Japan.
When Tojiin Studio dissolved in September of 1932, he moved to the newly established Takarazuka Kinema Omuro Studio.
He passed away at the age of 72.
