Zhang Da Wei alias Dave Zhang is a Chinese director, screenwriter and producer. He graduated from the Central Academy of Drama in 2012, and studied for a master's degree in film production at the University of Southern California in 2014. In 2018, his short film "Cupcake" won two awards namely, "Best Feature Film" at the Nagaoka International Film Festival in Japan, and "Best Work of the Year" at the 16th Penellia Commemoration Beijing (International) College Student Film Festival.
