Happy Feel Good with Extra Sweetness
This is such a happy feel good drama that gave me the same vibes as Hometown Cha Cha Cha. It’s just a bit more sweet with teenage & college vibes instead of the 30yo adult plot line from Hometown.The first few episodes covers a young teenager’s first crush on an older boy. Then it depicts a young heartbreak due to a misunderstanding. And finally venturing into adulthood and falling in love. Real love. Sang Zi fell first but Duan Jia Xu fell harder. The drama moves fast and doesn’t have any unnecessary filler scenes. It also follows very closely with the popular Chinese novel with few changes. There are no side plots. Love triangles or breakups.
I’m gonna miss this drama after I stop watching it on repeat. I’m def gonna rewatch it on Netflix so it’ll get some ratings there as well. I love ZLS and CZY!!! What great chemistry and beautiful people inside and out. I hope this drama rockets CZY’s career!!!

Pleasantly surprised
I went into this drama thinking it would be slow and boring but I really wanted to watch this new series with Dylan Wang. The storyline is very similar to the Korean drama Something in the Rain. But I enjoyed this one so much more, I was constantly eager to watch the next episode. And I was able to binge it in 2.5 days.Meteor Garden was one of my first introductions into Chinese dramas. And it was a breath of fresh air to watch such a different character portrayed by Dylan Wang in A Rational Life. He was sweet, kind, and just overall a good person with nothing wrong with his personality. The complete opposite of his crazy over-the-top character in Meteor Garden. His acting has definitely improved. Although I have not watched his other historical Chinese dramas yet.

Mind blown! Incredible!
OMG! That’s all I have to say! This short but incredible Cdrama totally blew my mind!!! 🤯🤯🤯I’m so glad I watched it with my hubby so I had someone to discuss it with. This is not a show to watch on your own because you NEED to talk each episode out to organize all the Resets.
The entire time I kept asking why and how the Resets were happening and when I finally figured it out at the end, I was 😭.
Also, may I say that this show is the first time I’ve watched a CKdrama where the police were amazing at their job!!!
The cast was amazing! Especially the crazy person. The acting was too notch. And the plot had zero loop holes. Pardon the pun. 😜Usually with storylines like this, you’ll always find unanswered questions or plot holes but there’s none. They tied up everything so neatly. I’m still so flabbergasted. Just watch it!!!

Expect tears even though it’s a RomCom.
Omg! I thought this was a Rom-Com but I cried so much in almost all the episodes!! I decided to watch it after watching COME & HUG ME since that show was heavy and emo. Even though I didn’t cry once watching that one. But THIS show was soooo good!!! I loved GO BACK COUPLE so much! I wish it had more episodes. Every married couple should watch this. I enjoyed all the characters and the acting was superb. The ending was expected and a bit rushed. Not sure about that strange god and goddess scene though.Was this review helpful to you?
Pleasantly surprised.
I just finished watching MISS THE DRAGON. I was expecting something similar to Legend of the White Snake but this one was 10 times better. Idk why people thought it was boring. Or that they liked the secondary characters better. They were cute but the main characters and storyline were excellent. I don’t watch a lot of Cdramas, esp the fantasy kind but I thoroughly enjoyed this one. The CGI was pretty decent. I love the scenery used. Dylan Wang being young didn’t take away from his character. He played the Dragon King well and completely absorbed that persona. The ending was a bit rushed and confusing but I still liked it.Was this review helpful to you?
