Gave everything I could wish for

I don't understand the bad reviews, for me it was perfect. It gave everything I wished to happen in other bls.
I even binge watched the 10 episodes in one morning.

-The story was amazingly emploted. I had never seen a drama with this plot so it was very original and new, to the point where, even if I could predict some scenes, I still felt completely immersed.

-Usually, when the two leads fight, they make up after an episode just because, but not this one. The feelings where so well conveyed I was even feeling the same as the lead. One was angry and they fought, but later the other felt wronged too and that's not usually seen in dramas.

-The second lead couple was cute too. They didn't outshine the lead couple but they were certainly needed with all that cuteness.

In conclusion, give it a try. I really found this bl different from others in terms of production. It was very beautiful and satisfactory so it placed in my top 10 of dramas, not only bls.

Promising start that rolled to disappointment

The first episode was fire, I loved it. I laughed a few times and the story seemed interesting. The second episode started to feel ordinary and by the third episode I just kept watching to not leave it incomplete.

I understood the story but not the way it was conveyed:

-If the assistant liked him from the start why would he act so cold and have so many conditions to take the work?? You could say the character was shy but I really don't understand, he was the one who supposedly wanted the work yet it didn't seem like that.

-The glasses guy has been friends for 10 years and he notices his feelings when the assistant finally confesses to the artist?? You could say it's a love triangle that adds spice to the story but I just hated the non-consensual kiss and the numerous calls from the hospital, playing with the assistant and all that manipulation is a no for me.

-The misunderstanding with de Pd and artist's relationship?? Now I really couldn't stand this. The artist says he is single and has been for 3 years already, the Pd gives them finger hearts and leaves them alone... Yet the assistant decides on his own the artist is straight, dating the Pd and doesn't like him. I understand dramas have some misunderstandings between the leads but this was just too ridiculous.

Still I gave it a 7 because I found the Pd's character and the scenes at the cafe funny. Also I will say it again, I understood what the director/producer wanted to convey but I think it wasn't properly presented.

Strange, unique and interesting

Personal reasons I consider important to watch for:

-Although it isn't a romance drama, the relationship between the ML and FL gave me butterflies. They are strange, but together understand each other.

-What's good about being normal? Watching this just made me want to be the most unique person ever. The drama teaches you to embrace whoever you are.

-The twist of the story?? I just wasn't expecting a twist like that at all. Good job making me trust that character.

-Always dumbfounded. The props, the characters, the story... It was so stupid it was even funny and interesting. I was looking so much forward to everything after getting the hang of it.

Wasted potential

The storyline was not new but I personally still liked it. But the finale? I don't think it was well presented. It left me with a "that's it??" (on the negative side).

The problem with this drama is the plot holes:

-Who was Denis truly?
-How/why did Dongbaek fall in love with the director?
-What happens with Denis after the time skip?
-Does the director recover his memory?

I saw a post where it explained everything about the manhwa and it was so much better than the series finale. It explained everything very well so, if you are not watching because you specially like the actors, I recomend to directly read the manhwa.

Shoet stories within the plot

(First of all, I would like to apologize for my english as I'm not a native speaker). If you are doubting whether watching this series or not, do it. The first chapters may be a little slow as they are kind of an introduction to the overall of the series but, as they pass, the better they are. This is my first review as I'm usually lazy to write one but this series really deserves it. It'strue that the general plot / story is a bit slow, but as every chapter tells a new story is very nice. The acting and stories are so emotional i cried easily in more than two chapters but not only because of sadnes but also because of happiness and relief.
