Same female lead, Kanna Hashimoto, plays a police officer as well. In Keishicho Ikimono Gakari, she's the police pet detective taking care of animals found at the crime scenes and uses her close relationship with the animals to find clues to solve the cases. Similar vibes and humor.

Both features a passionate female lead that handles each case given to her diligently conducting her own field investigation which is not required in her job, in search of truth to deliver justice.

But the time spent on each case is too long each time that the other cases pending continue piling up which cause the frustrations of her colleagues in not meeting deadlines.

It makes you wonder the relevance of the management system in rewarding its employees based on the number of cases solved. Answer is about a detective, Ms Justice is about a prosecutor.

Both are about a career driven female lead who got transferred to the back office to do menial tasks but ends up revitalizing the team's functions and morale as they now view their job as critical and significant in supporting the "frontliners", since her arrival which eventually earns the respect of her colleagues. Both deals with bureaucratic and management issues. While Answer is about police organization, Proofreader is about the fashion industry.
