EXID's Hani and Psychiatrist Yang Jae Woong to reportedly get married this year
Jo Bo Ah will reportedly join the upcoming Disney+ K-drama Knock Off which Kim Soo Hyun is also in talks.
On May 16, several media outlets shared that Jo Bo Ahn is confirmed to join the upcoming K-drama Knock Off. It was also reported that she will portray the role of Kim Soo Hyun's first love in the series.
Jo Bo Ah's agency XYZ Studio shared their response regarding the reports. The agency confirmed that Jo Bo Ah received the offer to star in the series. However, they reiterated that the actress is still reviewing it and nothing has been decided yet.
If Jo Bo Ah decides to join the upcoming series, this will be her second upcoming K-drama project. The actress is also starring in the upcoming Netflix original K-drama Hong Rang with Lee Jae Wook, Jung Ga Ram, Uhm Ji Won, Park Byung Eun, and Kim Jae Wook.
Last year, Jo Bo Ah paired with SF9's Rowoon in the fantasy romance K-drama Destined with You. She also made a special cameo appearance in Tale of the Nine-Tailed 1938 and returned as her character Nam Ji Ah.
Many are already anticipating how the chemistry of Jo Bo Ah and Kim Soo Hyun will unfold in the upcoming series. Jo Bo Ah is known for having amazing chemistry with famous actors such as Lee Dong Wook, Rowoon, Park Hae Jin, Ahn Bo Hyun, Yoo Seung Ho, and more.
Director Park Hyun Suk who also created the hit K-dramas Uncontrollably Fond and Stranger Season 2 and writer Han Jung Hoon will collaborate to create the upcoming K-drama Knock Off. The series will be produced by SLL and Arc Media.
Knock Off will showcase the happenings in the year 1997 to the early 2000s around the Asian financial crisis era. It will reveal the story of a fake market.
The upcoming K-drama will reportedly be led by Kim Soo Hyun, Kim Shi Eun, Yoo Jae Myung, and Go Gyu Pil.
Jo Bo Ah is the latest addition to the reported cast. According to reports, the actress will portray the role of a customs officer. She will also act as Kim Soo Hyun's character's first love.
Reports stated that Knock Off is currently in discussion to be released through an OTT platform. There is no official confirmation yet on the premiere date and filming schedule of the upcoming series Knock Off.
